With the battle going on inside team flares battlefield. Ash and his trusted partner Pikachu were battling against Lysander with his pyroar. It was intensive battle between the two, giving it all they got in this battle, not letting one another lose. They kept commanding on attacking, countering and defending with each move. both Pokemon were not even close to fainting.

"Pikachu use thunderbolt" Ash commanded his favourite move. Determined to win this battle.

The yellow mouse jumps in the air from its small legs and creates a yellow  light of electricity around its midget body then lets out a powerful attack at pyroar, sending waves through air.

"Pyroar use flamethrower" Lysander countered, not even concerned or feared just stayed neutral with its arms crossed against chest.

The fire type Pokemon gets ready in a battle stance. a fire forms in its mouth behind the sharp teeth. When it was done, it lets a powerful fierce attack. Spitting out the flamethrower from its mouth as it heads in line at the thunderbolt. Soon both attacks clashed together. then ended with a small black smoke at the middle of the battlefield in air.

Pikachu safely lands on the ground, in front of Ash as he looks in front to see an unharmed pyroar and Lysander smirking widely at him.

Calem was sitting down on the floor, watching the battle go in his view. He wanted to help his dad to win by cheating but after what he just Said to him. It made his confidence dropped like a stone that he wasn't a good son. All he cared was to beat Ash and get Serena back in his arms but the plan was unsuccessful. He takes a look at his father smirking.

"Your good battler boy, you could join my team, to be a team flare member....and replace my son. So do we have a deal." He said out loud that made the two boys heard his words.

Ash was now angry from what he just said. It was both joining a evil organisation and replacing him from his own son making Ash even more madder, that he wasn't treating Calem proper like a better dad. He held on the anger, not to let it unleash but now it was going to erupt in a second.

In the other hand, Calem was shocked from his fathers words that echoed through his mind. Replacing him. His body was frozen and his mouth was slightly gapped open, trying to speak out but the word won't come out. His eyes were wide open at his father in line.

With Ash, his fingerless fist was tigeting and teeth was gritted with anger before speaking.

"I would never join your team! You hear me! Not even a million years. Why would i join a team like you, huh, you guys are bad... and you" he said, pointing his forefinger straight at Lysander. "You want to change this world and get rid of Pokemon, well listen here. I'm going to stop you at all cost in my own bare hands. Why would you get rid of Pokemon? They help other us and we help them, and how dare you treat your son like that. Don't you have any respect for him. Sure I hate Calem for what he did to me in a past few months, but still... I know there's good inside him. So treat respect to him" he finished, taking some breaths in his sentence, glaring at Lysander with hatred.

Calem was lost for words. Hearing every single word that came from his rival on what he just said in the room. Sure he has been bad for the past weeks because he was working for the evil organisation. however. There was still good in him. He wasn't all that bad from the start. He changed through out his years. He changed himself from good to evil and this was the working from his own dad.

Lysander face a turned into anger after hearing Ash words that he didn't accept the offer and conflicting his behaviour at his own son, which makes him even more angrier.

"So you reject my offer boy huh, well. I shall leave without you for my successful plan. Pyroar use flamethrower" Lysander said, quickly commanding his Pokemon from the conversation he was having.

Pyroar uses the energy and forms fire inside his mouth behind the teeth then spit out with a powerful flamethrower which was a bit bigger than the previous one as it was heading straight at Pikachu on ground, non stop.

"Pikachu, dodge with quick attack" Ash commanded just in time, fist pumps in air.  Ignoring the anger that held inside, now concentrating on the battle.

Pikachu nods in affirmative answer. A white glow was surrounding around Pikachu. Increasing speed through its body. When it glowed around, Pikachu leaps out the flame thrower just in time as it misses it target, hitting an open field.

Pikachu runs across the battlefield, keeping its eyes on pyroar to see if there were any more attacks coming its way which they weren't. All Pikachu and Ash could see was Pyroar taking a couple of breath from its mouth. meaning it was tired or lacked out and it was a clear opening for Ash to attack.

"Pikachu, finish this with thunderbolt." Ash commanded, hoping that Lysander would not counter it.

Pikachu smiled with a nod and jumps in the air with Pyroar looking up, seeing the mouse ready to attack.

Lysander eyes widen. "Pyroar, use flamethrower."

When he commanded. Pyroar was trying its best to make another flamethrower but it didn't have the energy to do it. The flamethrower in its mouth was replace with just empty of tired breath. Lysander was complete shock as he sees his Pokemon tired out without looking at Pikachu in the air. Pikachu forms an electric wave through its whole body before going in to a ball and finally lets out all its power of electricity wave at Pyroar, flattening its body for better aim, yelping out.

The thunderbolt speedily ran across the air and instantly hits Pyroar as the fire type watches before its eyes widen with the attack coming close.

Soon a black heavy smoke erupted the air, covering a little on the battlefield. Ash watches Pikachu lands safely. bringing a smile on his face then looks at the smoke as it was begging to fade, giving it more clear on Pyroar. When the smoke faded. There lying restless on the dusted floor in front of Lysander was Pyroar with swirl its eyes and a slight open mouth. Fainted.

Lysander was shocked to see his Pokemon defeated by a electric mouse. Also getting beaten by a kid who was much younger than himself, making Lysander humiliated and embarrassed. However, what he got planned next was a back up.

On the side. Calem watched the whole thing. Seeing his dad lose against to Ash was humiliating. Although, he wanted to help his dad but he didn't have the heart to do it as he was now changed into a different person.

With Ash. A smile brought upon his tanned face after defeating the leader of a evil organisation. Stopping his plan come into action.

Pikachu runs up to its trainer and jumps, landing in its care free arms and nuzzles it's trainer cheeks with a smile on both faces, ignoring what around them.

When Ash was celebrating, there was volumed footstep heard behind him which he ignored it. When the footstep were grown louder, a person came out the door, revealing only Serena. Entering into the battlefield by herself. She looked around and sees Ash hugging Pikachu. She knew why they did it, bringing a smile on her face.

"Ash!" She called, standing in the same position in distance away from him.

Ash heard the call that made him stop nuzzling Pikachu. He looked over behind to his girlfriend in distance, standing in his view. However what he didn't know was an unexpected was behind him that could change the whole thing into a disaster.

As Serena looks at Ash, her eyes averted behind him getting a clear view of Lysander and to her fear. A gun was raised up to the chest in the evil man's hand at Ash, not noticing it, just keeping his eye on Serena.

Ash was confused to see his girlfriend changed from happy to fear of shock on her expression until the words blurt out from her mouth.

Even Calem notices the expression from Serena, he follows her gaze to see Lysander pointed the gun in his hand at Ash with a evil Smirk on his face. Calem's eyes widen and looks at ash.

"Ash look out! behind you!" Serena spoke out loud across the room. Echoing. fearing the most that made her a heart ache from chest.

A confused look spread upon Ash features, he didn't know what was behind him so he whirled around to see what it was, but when he did. His eyes slid from Serena to Lysander that immediately went wide. seeing a gun on the tango beard hand with a evil smirk on its face.

The gun shot with a loud bang across the room as a bullet shot out quickly from the gun. Time went slow as the bullet ran through the clear the air heading straight in line at Ash's body.

Serena started to run at Ash, trying to get to him while the bullets was getting nearer. Calem was watching on. Ash went wide eyes as the bullet was millimetre away from his body.

Then the bullet shot straight through Ash body, near the rib, travelling through inside and came out from behind with some blood spitting out, splurting on floor as ash was beginning to fall at the ground lifelessly.

"Ash" Serena shouted across the room with tears in her eyes. Watching her boyfriend hit the ground with no control. Her heart was aching so much. Throat was blocking which made it harder for her to breath a little. It was a most painful sight she had ever encountered. Her legs were becoming numb but manages to keep running as she finally came to her boyfriend, hitting her knees on ground and gazed at Ash eyes which were beginning to slid down.

Lysander was smirking victoriously, getting a clear shot at the boy who was on the verge of death while Calem was complete shock. Watching his own father shot his rival. He could of helped him but didn't manage to get the words out in time. He looked to the right to see Serena caressing Ash in her free arms and Pikachu looked at its trainer. There were small tears forming out on Pikachu but soon changed into anger. The mouse looked over Lysander, feeling enraged for what he did to Ash.

Lysander mood changed when seeing Pikachu crawling up to him with sparks coming out from its red ouch cheeks with anger plastered on the face. Lysander took step back, but it was too late.

Pikachu lets out a thundebolt that more bigger and powerful than the previous attacks on pyroar but this was the feels g for his trainer. The thunderbolt ran through clear air and electrocutes Lysander who gave out a scream of pain that ached all through his body Sending electric waves. The thunderbolt was painful indeed, it was full of anger and hatred.

Then, the thunderbolt ended. Pikachu slowly fades the attacks and looks at Lysander who instantly hits its knees on floor and dips his body with it, mutely hitting his body on the floor.

When the electric mouse was done, it crawled back to its trainer to see his eyes slowly shutting. Nearly about to the die in Serena arms. Tears dropped from Pikachu's eyes.

"A-Ash, p-please don't. Don't" Serena responded. Tears were dripping from her eyes too, falling down and landed on Ash jacket, some were near the face.

With a cough. Ash managed to speak out wearily. Keeping his eyes on Serena eyes that he loved the most.

"S-Serena" he said breathily of her original name. "I..I..L-lov..y-You." He said. More like his last words.

Both Pikachu and Serena were crying there out uncontrollably as they see there most important person in their life passing in thier own eyes. Soon, Footsteps were heard, it wasn't just one but more of group. Serena didn't mind looking to see who it was, she just kept on gazing at Ash. When footsteps were getting louder, a group of teenagers came out the door from the shadows, revealing ash's friend.

They looked around the area and finally saw Serena kneeling down, bringing some mixed expression of confused and neutral.

"Serena" Dawn spoke and run to her friend with gang following behind without Serena looking bs k at them. When Dawn came close, a shocked face was shot at her face with her hand near to open mouth.

The gang Slowly walked over near to Serena and finally came to view. To their wide eyes and shock. There they saw in their own sight Ash lying his head on Serena lap with blood dripping from his rib.

Ash slid his eyes to see all his friend around him. he could see tears were in their eyes and sadness filled the area. A smile rose on his lip, ignoring the pain.

"H-Hey...Guys" he said breathily.

Gary kneels down, looking at Ash with tears nearly overflowing in his eyes. He could bare to watch his friend lying down in front.

"A-Ashy-boy" Gary said, holding on to stop from crying his eyes out. "W-what."

Ash shortly chuckled gently.

May stepped forward and kneels down at her cousin with tears in her eyes that smoothly ran down her cheeks to the bottom chin. Seeing her cousin lying in front of her view.

The girls started to cry one by one while the boys held on even for Paul.

At this. Ash eyes were slowly shutting by taking a couple of breaths. He looked up to see Serena having both of her eyes wet with trees running on each side. He didn't like to see this from her, all he wants was that smile. That beautiful smile that would shine his day.

With one last breath. His eyes slowly shut, mouth stopped breathing in, Chest paused from moving. And there he was lying lifelessly.

Serena the gang notice this. They looked at Ash to see his eyes fully shut closed. Thier breaths were taken away and heart were aching in each every one of them, Serena was the most. She gazed at her boyfriend lying helplessly on her lap with blood dripping from his rib that was were he was shot.

"A-Ash" she stuttered as her theist was heavy to take out the words. She stride to gently shake Ash but there was no response. Big even a slight movement, just nothing. Seeing his face bring sadness all of over the gang as they watch their lay before them.

With one verge call. Serena screamed his name across the room, letting all her emotions out. "AAASSSHHH!"

Ash POV

Darkness

All I could see was darkness around me in sight. I don't know where I was. Was this the end? has my journey come to an end. I don't know why I thought about that.

I looked around to see if I could get out. Luckily, I saw a bright light straight ahead of me. It was too much to handle for my eyes to see, so I placed my flat hands above my eyebrows to get a better view as I start to walk forward to the light direction. When I did, I entered through it and saw full light around me. There was no around until a voice echoed that rang my ears, giving me attention.

"Ash" someone spoke in a light whispering voice behind me.

I whirled around at back in a same position and saw a man wearing a red jacket with a cap that looked more like mine but different way. He was almost like me except for his features, not the jet hair.

He talks a couple of steps and stood in front, giving me a clear view of his face.

"Ash my boy" he said.

I raised an eyebrow in confusion. I didn't know who he was but how did he know my name.

"Who are you?" I questioned. Curious to know who he was.

He gave short chuckle and spoke. " I'm you father, Red Ketchum"

When he said that sentence. My eyes grew wide In complete shock. I don't know if I'm hearing correct. Also, I haven't seen my father since I was born, it was only just me and my mum.

Through my years, I said to my mum about my father but she wouldn't answer my question. To me, I thought he left me or left us. now, here he was In front me. Until I realised where I am, I'm dead, away from mum, friends, Pikachu and Serena.

"B-but how" I said. coming back to reality.

He chuckled shortly and signed. "Ash, its a long story" he said and placed both his bare hand on my free shoulder. Looking into my eyes and spoke. "Now son, you are going back....and say hi to your mother for me" he said with a smile.

At this, my whole body started to glow, my feet slowly started to fade, from bottom to top.

I look at my father who was still smiling at me.

"What about you" I said with one tear running down my eye as I watch my father slowly fading away before my eyes. Leaving him.

"I'll watch over you" he said with a smile. his words ran through my ears as I see my father disappear in front me which was my last view of my dad. I will miss him.

Soon, I opened my eyes instantly. My breath was coming into my lungs. Souls was getting into my body. The focus was blurry but then changed. And to my surprise....I was back in the real world, in the same place.

I looked to see the whole gang crying before me, even Serena who was crying the most without reading that I'm alive. I couldn't even feel a slight pain from my rib that was being shot. I think it's gone.

Finally I spoke out. "What everyone crying about" I said, lifting my body away from Serena's lap while sitting on ground, looking up at my friends in puzzled. 

"Huh" they looked at me in surprise and blinked a couple of times. To see if I'm ghost or whatever. Then they turned into a positive expression.

"Ash!" Serena exclaimed and lunge her body at me as she wraps her free arms around my neck, bringing her body close to mine. Feeling each other's warmness.

A smile rose on my lips as I set both my eyes on top of her forehead. I miss this warmness, her warmness.

"Pikachu" Pikachu exclaimed, jumping on to me, then back down.

Then, I looked at Gary, only to see some tears that ran down from his eyes which caught me surprise. I never thought he could cry.

"Gary did you cry." I said with a smirk.

"What" he exclaimed and shook his head "no, I never cry." He looks over at someone. "Maybe Paul did too" Gary added with a smirk.

"What no, shut up pathetic" Paul said as the two boys begin an argument at each other which made the whole gang laugh until a loud alarm rang across the room getting out attention as we looked around, seeing the room covered in red.

I stood up from ground with Serena holding on to me. I don't think she wants to let go.

"The building is going to self destruct in 1 minute" a computer spoke bringing all of us feared for the worst.

"What! We don't have time to exit the building" Clemont spoke with fear.

"What shall we do, our pokemon have fainted" May said.

"I could help" someone spoke from behind.

Me and my friends turned around to see Calem standing in front of us. However, he wasn't ignoring us by running off the building by himself. He was helping us to my surprise, but I don't know how will the others take his advice.

"What do you want." Drew harshly said, gritting his teeth.

"Look I'm here to help you get out in this situation." He said in s hurty as we were running out of time. I looked at him in close distance. I don't know but I feel I should trust him.

"Well, we don't need you help." Gary resorted.

"Gary, let him help us" I said. Departing from Serena's arms and walk over beside Calem, facing at my friends. "I know you guys hate him for what he did, but give him a chance. He knows the inside and out of this building. So what do you say? Are you with me" I said, pleading for Thier response as the clock was going down to 30 seconds.

The group looked at each other then back at me and gave a nod in response bringing a smile on my face. I looked at Calem and spoke. "Calem, lead us the way. " I said as Pikachu climbs on my shoulder. Holding on tight.

He gave a nod and began to run out the door with us following along with him until a was voice was heard, stopping our tracks.

"Calem! Help me"

I turned around to see Lysander crawling to us with his arms straight up at us, pleading his son to save him. I remember what he said to Calem before but its his decision. Weather to save his father or not.

I turned back to Calem who stared at his father in distance for a second and runs through the door, leaving his father behind.

"Come on, this way" he said as we follow him out.

I looked behind while running to see Alain giving one last glance at Lysander before running to us. I don't know if he knows him.

As I was running. I hear Lysander screaming the names out loud. "CALEM! ALAIN!" He screamed that rang through my ears.

I take short peek to see the walls falling Down and landed on top of Lysander body, giving me no time to save him as I looked ahead. Not wanting to see the view and hearing him scream that descended, just kept on running for freedom, leaving this building with my friends.

"Come on Clemont you so slowpoke" Misty screamed and grabs him to rush forward, since he was behind the group and the slowest.

We ran through some corners and turns until a light was ahead of us. Freedom was I front us bringing our hopes us. The room was about to shake and finally we came out just in time with the whole group safe and sound before the building collapsed into pieces.

I took a few breaths and regained, looking at my friends with a wide smile. "We did it"

For a couple of minutes. The police have arrived at a scene, Arresting all the flare members that worked for the evil organisation.

I walked over to Calem and spoke with a smile. "Thanks for helping us Calem" I said, Giving an old pat in his back.

"Huh" he responded then smiled too. "No problem"

When were talking, officer Jenny came to us and spoke as she looks at Calem. "Are you Calem Xavier."

Calem nods "yes" he said truthfully.

When he said that. I looked at Officer Jenny taking out a single cuffs from the pocket.

"Calem Xavier, your under arrest for a criminal law" she said and unlocks the cuffs for her to arrest.

I looked back at Calem in a little surprise. He didn't even fight back just surrendered. He lift his arm up above chest and out as officer Jenny was about to cuff him but I interrupted.

"Wait" I instantly said, causing her to stop the arrest on Calem as they both turned to me.

"Look officer, I know Calem has done bad things and worked for team flare, but it wasn't his fault." I said.

My friend looked at me behind as i was speaking to officer Jenny, even Calem bringing a surprise expression that I'm saving him.

I continued talking "what I'm saying is that Calem is a good guy, he didn't cause any harm to us. It was all because of his father. He had a hard time giving Calem. I know you maybe against it but trust me." I defendly told. Gazing at officer Jenny as she gives a look at me.

Soon, she signed and puts the cuffs inside the pocket. Not arresting Calem.

"All right. Calem, you are free to go, but if there's any circumstances you cause. Then its jail" she said. receiving a nod from Calem and walks off with the others.

"Why do you save me, you should of let me go to jail. I've done a lot bad things to you" he said in confused "but why."

I smiled widely at him. "Forgive and forget. I know you have done some things but the past is the past." I lift my arm and offered him a handshake. "I know we didn't start well when I arrived at school, you know... punching you In the face. But. Let's start new. So what do you say...friend" I finished with a goofy smile while closing my eyes.

"Ash, I..." he responded in shock which soon changed into a smile plastering on his face. He connects his own hand on to mine as we shake each other's hand.

"Thanks Ash" he said.

"Heh, no problem." I replied, departing from the handshake.

Calem looks at me then behind my back as a smirk rose on his face. "You got company."

"Huh" I responded with confused exited expression. Thinking on what he meant. I turned around away from him to see Serena walking to me with a beautiful smile. I smiled at her as she came close and wraps her arms around me, bringing our face close, looking at each other's eyes that I was lost in them.

Calem walks away to give us some space. Walking towards the gang, forgiving them for his apology.

A smile rose on my lips, looking at Serena's beautiful eyes that I can't resist. It great to have my great girlfriend back in my arms. Wrapping them around her waist, resting slightly on top of her bottom.

"So what now" she said, sending her warm breath onto my lips as we swayed.

"I don't know" I smiled widely and slowly leaned forward, closing my eyes while tilting my head for a better angle. She too did same, closing her eyes. Then we brushed our soft lips together. Syncronised each of our movement as we kiss. I was really getting use of her lips with our tongues dancing each other.

Man I miss this so much. It was more like a happy ending for me. Wish It would last long.

I could her cheers and wolf whistles coming from my friend, but we just ignored them from interrupting our moment.

I have finally found my first childhood crush and my true love after all these years of waiting. Now it was here in front of my eyes.

Later we departed the kiss, keeping each others eyes locked on to each other I close range. Her beautiful smile, her soft short honey blond and that angelic voice that I love to hear in my own ears.

"I love you Serena." I confessed. Feeling like years doing this.

She giggled cutely. "I love you to Ash" she replied with that sweet voice as we now gave each other another sweet kiss with the sun setting on the horizon. Picturing our view.
