In the clear blue sky. Ash and his gang were riding on their own flying type Pokemon, heading to save Serena.

For the past couple of minutes of flying. Searching around. there was no sign of her anyway nor Calem where they could have land. Ash was beginning to get worried, he tried searching in some streets and building but still no hope of his girlfriend. But still he wasn't going to give up that easily since this was his motivation from the start of his journey.

When they looking over left to right, down below their feet which they were way high above with girls scared of heights except for Misty.

Sawyer averted his eyes that changed quickly to wide as he saw what's coming to him in his view.

"Salamence" he said, which got the whole gangs attention. They followed Sawyer's view to see a dragon type flying towards them, they thought for moment until they realised it was his Pokemon and there was silight hope of finding Serena.

"Did you find them" Sawyer questioned as the gang held on, waiting for a response.

Salamemce nods which The whole gang had positive expression that they have finally found their way to a friend, especially for Ash.

"Can you lead us the way." Sawyer question as salamence begins to fly to the destination where Calem had kidnapped Serena. The group followed salamence behind wasting no time at all.

After a couple meters they rode on their Pokemon. They have finally arrived at their destination which was nowhere to be found. They looked ahead in distance to see an old building with some broken pieces of glass, it more looked like a cave instead of a tall building.

However, Alain knew this building was from.

"Could it be" he muttered to himself but was caught from Clemont, hearing his words behind him.

"What is Alain" he said. curios.

"Nothing, just nothing" Alain said while shaking his head. Forgetting the words what Clemont told.

They descend their Pokemon to land safely on a sandy ground, when they did, Ash and his gang returned their flying type Pokemon into their pokeballs except Pikachu, going on to its trainer's shoulder.

"Ok, where here. But where's Serena." Dawn question as she looked around her surrounding.

"She might be inside the building" cilan answered. Not saying for a long time.

"Yeah, but don't you know that there might be security inside" Clemont said, knowing from the head.

"Huh, How do you know that" Gary said, raising an eyebrow.

"There are some guards on the building" he pointed out at the building on top.

The whole gang followed his view to see some guards, securing the top area even on the side. Luckily, there weren't been spotted by them as they were near to a bush. If they did get caught then there mission will be a bust.

Ash thought for moment, thinking an idea up to his brain. He looked at his friend and said "guys I think I have an idea."

The gang now averted their eyes on him as they came into a group, talking on about the plan. When they finished, they all looked at each other with determination smile.

"Ready guys" Ash said, receiving all the nods from his friends. He unclips a pokeball from a belt and threw in the air without getting caught.

"Right, let's go Greninja, i choose you" he said, not too loud to get the attention from guards.

Greninja came out from its pokeball and looked at its trainer with arms crossed. "Gren" it responded.

For the others. Gary took out his blastiose, Sawyer took out his Sceptile while Alain did with Charizard since the three are the strongest in the group. 

"Greninja, use water shuriken" Ash commanded.

Greninja responded as he jumps in the air, clasp his frogged-hand at the side legs, forming a water shuriken that glued into its hand and threw visuosly at the guard, departing it from its hand. spinning towards its way at the unnoticed guards in fast pace.

Instantly. The guard was hitted directly at the back causing to fall down on the ground with a loud yelp grabbing some of guards attention, looking ahead to see Ash and his gang in view.

"We got intruders, ring the alarm." One of the guard said, telling to another guard to run down the building.

"Oh no you don't, blastoise use water gun" Gary said quickly.

"Sceptile use frenzy plant" Sawyer commanded before.

As the two Pokemon with different types stopped their own attacks on each and every guard, knocking them unconscious on the floor.

The gang now ran ahead at the front door but it was sealed shut with no open entrance.

Alain quickly commanded.

"Charizard use dragon claw, knock it down" he commanded while running with gang to the sealed door, hurrying without been spotted.

With its mighty strength. The orange dragon forms a green glowing claw from its sharp claws as it slashes with raw power at the door in one move, breaking it into pieces as the gang go through it. Entering inside the building with no one left behind.

There was a loud alarm ringing across each area that alerted each and every guard across rooms. They got ready and set their way out.

Inside a room. It even got the attention for Calem and Lysander.

"What going on" Lysander said to one of the guards.

"We have intruders sir"

"I know who it is" Calem said, raising a smirk on his lips. He looks at his father and spoke "dad, he's here"

"Is he now" Lysander replied, he too formed a smirk and walks to the door with Calem behind.

With gang running inside the building and battling off each guard with their own Pokemon which they fought easily, They knocked off some of the guards and their Pokemon with ease. After a short minute, they finally beated the guards as they now run ahead, to find Serena. However, when they did, they came across an open empty field with light still on, brightening up the room.

Alain remembers this place, it was the place where he fought each and every trainer with their mega evolved Pokemon which he won without taking a loss.

Then a sound of unexpected was heard.

"Well look who we have here" someone spoke out of blue getting the whole gang attention. They looked ahead in line to see a person come out the shadows from the door which they grew hate of.

"Calem" Ash mumbled, tightening his fist with Pikachu forming electricity in anger.

Calem wanted to laugh but held within as he stopped at the other side of the battle field with a smile, away from the gang in distant.

"So you came huh, took you long enough" he said.

"Where is Serena, your creep" Dawn shouted in anger.

"Oh her, well let's just say she was having a great time with me" he said, smirking at Ash.

Gary growled "oh I'm going to beat this piece of a-" he was stopped in his words. Ash lifting his arm up to the chest of Gary.

"Guys, go find Serena" he said, keeping his eyes at Calem without taking them off. It was like he wanted to fight Calem right now with gang noticing it.

"But Ash, let me-" Gary said, again interuppted.

"No Gary, let me do it. I'm going to finish this. Go find Serena, I'll take him on" he said by taking a step forward on the battlefield, gazing his eyes straight at Calem in distance. Pikachu jumps off his trainers shoulder as the mouse lands on ground, sparking electricity on its red pouch cheeks with eyes set at Calem, Even Greninja, standing beside its own trainer. Getting ready what's about to come next.

The gang looked at Ash for a second then they gave a nod in response for his approval and head out to a another door with their pokemon, to go and find Serena without looking back.

"So your not going to" Calem spoke, loud enough for Ash to hear his words.

"Nope, I'm going to take you down once and for all" Ash said.

"So be it, let's see whose the better battler. Yvetal come on out" Calem called. Taking out a pokeball from belt and throws it in air as it opened up fully, flashing out a Y shaped Pokemon that was flying gently in the air, gazing its fully blue eyes on Ash and Greninja, it did remember their last fought against each other so it's power was increasing to the limit.

Ash glances at Yvetal then Greninja With a determination smile, ignoring the anger. Believing his partner can win it.

"You ready Greninja"

"Gren" Greninja responded with a nod.

"All right Greninja, let's go" Ash said, pointing at the battlefield.

Greninja leaps into battlefield by slowly spinning its body around and lands safely, going into a battle stance, setting its narrow eyes on yvetal. face to face.

"So a Greninja, huh" Calem responded then let's out a short laugh "wait until I pulverise you, yvetal use oblivion Wing" he commanded as loud as he can.

Yvetal heard its trainer move. The legendary Pokemon instantly forms a purple shaped that kept blowing like a balloon near to its feature until it finished it's raw power in a second and fires straight at Greninja on ground.

" Greninja use double team." Ash shouted, swiping his free arms through air.

Greninja immediently makes clones of itself, spreading them across the field as they now get destroyed by the oblivion wing. When yvetal was done attacking, There was no sign of Greninja anywhere on the battlefield after the smoke was cleared.

Calem had no idea of where it is but he didn't know that only Ash could see it.

"Use cut now" Ash said in determination with a gust pump.

In a flash. Greninja appeared behind at yvetal out of nowhere in its view and swipes its cut on Yvetal back, letting out a scream of pain as it falls down fast in gravity, immensely on the battlefield with Dust of smoke waving out. When it did, Greninja lands safely on ground but still kept its eye on its opponent.

Calem gritted his teeth with anger shown on his face as he watched his Pokemon fall in front while Ash was concentrated on battle. Winning this battle. However, there was one more obstacle in his way to victory.

With the gang running to the prisoners section after defeating every single guard in their way with ease. They now open the door and looked around in each cage to find Serena.

In a short minutes, they looked at each cell until they finally saw their friend, sitting down against the wall lying her back by putting her legs near to the chest without realising her friend.

"Serena" Dawn called and runs to the cell with the gang following behind.

Serena heard the words which got her full attention, and to her surprise, She looked over to see her friend running to her behind bars. She stood up from ground and spoke.

"What are you doing," she said until she realised her boyfriend was not with them. "Where's Ash?" Questions the last part.

"He's battling off Calem, but right now. We need to get you out." Dawn said, taking a couple of step back, even Serena knowing what's on her mind.

"Piplup use bubble beam." Dawn commanded.

A small water type penguin in its first evolution forms bubbles that spitted out from its fully opened beak mouth, letting the attack out, flying its way to the cell. Destroying as it creats smoke. When it was cleared, The cell was broken down into pieces with
Serena coming out of the cell safely.

"Thanks guys" she said with smile.

"Now, let's go to Ash" Drew said as they were about to walk until a voice was spoken, interrupting their way.

"I don't think so" a women with machine glasses on stood in their tracks having two guards of team flare beside her.

"Well it looks like we got company, will hold them off while you go get Ash" Gary said with Paul and Drew stepping up to battle with their Pokemon out of their pokeballs, getting into battle stance.

Misty and May were worried at first but soon changed as they see their boyfriends features, even Dawn, setting her eyes on Paul.

The others nod in response and run out the room leaving the three boys behind in to battle.

When they were out of the prison section, they now head to Ash with Serena taking the lead in front with her friend behind. Worrying for her boyfriend safety.

Onto the battle field where dust were waving through the air with a shallow wind. There stood two Pokemon taking some breaths after they finished a move at each other.

Greninja was in its sync form with Ash as the two were not giving up without fight. Although, Greninja did take some damage but was still carrying on with its trainer. On the other side of the battlefield was Yvetal having most marks on its features than Greninja, dealing major damages. The Y shaped legendary was still in this battle as well, even for Calem as he calls out another move.

They have been battling for the past couple of minutes now, not showing any mercy.

"Let's finish this, Yvetal use shadow ball" Calem commanded its next move.

Yvetal forms a purple ball near its body, controlling the dark power to make it go big and then aimlessly fires straight at Greninja.

"Greninja, use water shuriken." Ash shouted. Giving it all, copying Greninja movement as he pulls his arms at the back.

Greninja grabs the shuriken from the back and takes out in both free hands then throws it in air as it spins around on top of Greninja, turning the attack from blue to fiery orange, making it go bigger.

Calem had mixed emotion of shocked and surprised and call out.

"Yvetal, use full power" he shouted on top if his lungs, tightening his fist as hard as possible from his place side legs.

When the two Pokemon gave out their limited attacks. They immediantly lash out, departing their attacks away from them as it flew in the air, heading straight at each other attacks before it clashes together with lots ember spitting out, brightening the room and wind blowing hardly across the area.

Ash covered his face with a red cap. not to let all dust go into his eyes while Calem remained still, setting his eyes on the battlefield.

With the two attacks clashed on, suddenly a big smoke was erupted that covered the whole room without knowing whats on the battlefield and who won the match.

Ash covered his eyes and glimpse ahead to see any sign of Greninja, same goes for Calem too. The two trainers stood in place with the smoke slowly fading away.

When it did. The battlefield was a little clear until a thud was heard, getting the two rival trainer attention.  They looked at the smoke to see a shadow inside the smoke that stood up straight.

Calem thought he won as the shadow was big, thinking that Yvetal had stood victorious. However, what he was thinking was totally the opposite way around.

The shadow slowly went from big to small which got Ash's lips formed into a smile before smoke was cleared up, revealing Greninja stood in its place with arms crossed against its chest while Yvetal was lying on floor with swirls in its eyes. Fainted.

Calem was fully shocked from the defeat. His legs became numb as he instantly hits the ground in Defeat.

"I-i lost" he muttered under his breath. Having a battle against Ash, losing him the second time in a row with guilt swelled.

Ash looked over at Calem. He was about to speak out but was interrupted by a new unexpected voice.

"That's wasn't good enough, my son" a voice came out of the shadows.

Ash looked behind Calem to see a tall man stepping out the door as he walks to the battlefield and stood in his place  beside Calem who didn't respond.

Ash was confused of the man's appearance so spoke in a question way.

"Who are you?"

The man smirked widely. "My name is Lysander, I'm the leader of team flare" he said. Pointing at himself only "I see you won against my son, I am totally disappointed in him. " looking at Calem down below. Again no response.

Ash was gritted his teeth in anger. watching the father treating in disrespect to his own son.

"He tried his best, can't you give support to him" Ash said, unleashing all anger.

"Pika" "Gren" the two Pokemon responded in unison, showing the same as their trainer.

The tall man looks at Ash with anger. "I don't need your approval, when I'm done with you. I'll change this world into a better place without Pokemon living in this world." He said, lifting his arms wide open with a evil smile that made lights glowed to his face, giving a clear view.

"Pika" Pikachu said in shock.

"Your sick, why would you do that. That is not going to happen, I'll stop you no matter what" Ash said, tightening his fist.

"Gren" Greninja nods from his trainers approval.

"Fool, you won't stop me" he said, looking at Ash as he takes out a pokeball from his pocket and throws it in the air. "Come out pyroar"

A flash was poured out from pokeball, landing on battlefield as the bright light fades away, revealing a fire type that looked just like Lysander hair.

"Pyroar!" It roared across the room, unleashing the vibe power while in battle stance.

Ash was about to battle with Greninja but looked as he sees some marks and scratches on its features. If he was to battle then he will feel more pain when battling.

"Greninja, take a rest, you've done enough job." Ash said, taking out a pokeball and returns Greninja giving no hesitation to its trainer after changing into its original form.

Then Ash looked at Pikachu with smile on his face.

"You ready to go bud" he said

"Pika pika" Pikachu responded with determination.

"All right. Pikachu, I choose you" he said, swaying his arms and points at the field.

Pikachu leaped from position and stood in four legs, going into battle stance with electric sparks on its cheeks. Getting ready for ready by setting its button black eyes on pyroar.

Calem shuffles away to give himself space form battle, watching it go on in His view without anyone noticing.

"Let's see what you got boy, pyroar use flamethrower."
