In a empty hallway. There where two students standing opposite to each other. Until a loud slap was heard that made an echo in the hallway which got students attention insude their classroom. They instantly got up from their own seats and scurry out of class to know what is going on. It even got Gary and his friend's attention too since the loud clap was metres away and they could actually hear the echo ringing their ears.

"What was that" May spoke first.

All students in her class stood up their seats and walked out the classroom with Mr Rowan shouting at them to get back in but they ignored his demanding words. Even Gary and his friend walking out class and head straight towards the sound. As they arrived, they looked ahead to see what they saw was shocked by them.

May's eyes widened with hand lifted from her sides to near her gaped mouth even Dawn too doing the same while Misty and Iris watch on in curios.

Gary, Drew and Alain were watching too with wide eyes to see the untruth was revealing to them, even Paul who was behind the group, but still watch in his view.

"Pika" Pikachu responded with a worried expression for his trainer who didn't anything wrong from it's own point of view.

Around the corner, a person was peeking behind it with a menacing smirk formed showing his teeth as he watches two people before him in distance.

That two people was none other than Ash and Serena. They were looking at each other's eyes. Not saying a single word as quite tension rose with every student around them watching on scene like a fight has begun instead it was an opposite around, more like a break up is happening.

Gary and his friends watched them in silent, wanting know what is going on between them.

With the two. Ash's expression was stunned with a slight opened mouth. His eyes widened with his open fingerless hand placed on his own z-mark cheek that had a red mark hand printed.

He couldn't believe what has just happened before him of what Serena has just done. His girlfriend slapped him on his cheek.

Serena gazed at her boyfriend with watery red eyes and lips shut closed, not to make a word, standing before him. There was some sniffs from her nostrils breathing through by letting out all the emotions.

There was a short silence between them until Ash broke it.

"s-sere" he talked in a low tone, still his hand stuck to his z-mark cheek that had been slapped by her before.

Serena didn't answer a word again so Ash spoke up.

"W-what happened to you" he said, finishing with an opened mouth and was about to speak again but finally Serena interrupts.

"You did this" she finally remarked, spitting out venom with eyes glared at him.

Ash was confused by her response. His heart was beginning to bleed with sharp knives stabbing it in every single place as Serena spoke again.

"You cheated on me" she said, sounded like she was heartbroken with every pain spoken out.

Ash didn't know what to say from her word, mixed thought went through his head. He spoke out by trying to tell his girlfriend the truth not a lie. He didn't want to lie to her. That was not who he was, and he will never will be.

"Serena, I didn't ch-" Ash truthfully spoke but Serena interrupts as lie was taking place over truthfulness.

"YES YOU DID ASH!" she shouted from her lungs, taking out every pain and sorrow from her with voice echoing through hallway which caught everyone's surprises from her words.

The gang looked at her in mixed emotions as she said this. Gary glanced at the girls as he was about to speak but Ash spoke getting his attention.

"But sere, i-i di" Ash tried to speak out, trying to tell Serena from his heart but she interrupts again.

Looking at him with an anger expression that made Ash broke into pieces. He didn't like to see his girlfriend sad nor angry. All he wanted was to be there and care for her but now that was upside down.

"Yes. You did! I saw you kissing another girl.... you think you can leave me and go kiss another girl behind my back!" she shouts as hot salty tears dripped from her red eyes, crying even more. She took some breath in her lungs and continued, remembering something "you even texted when I was over" she added sounding in a hurtful tone once again.

Serena took out her phone from her red non-sleeved jacket and showed it in front of Ash's auburn eyes, getting a clear view of her phone.

Ash heeded at her phone but what he saw was disproof. On feed, reading his own message which was not by him.

'Serena I'm breaking up with you because you are no part in my life. You should go out with someone else. Me and you are over and done.'

When Ash read it all, he looked at Serena as she pulls away with her phone and puts it in the pocket, away from his face while gazing into Ash's auburn eyes receiving pain.

Ash took a quite gulp down the throat, gazing into Serena's red eyes with silence forming once again. There was not a single word being spoken while students crowded around watching them as they speak on, not even caring what's around them.

Gary glanced at them then to his friends as he replied to them but what he saw from girls was sorry.

"Guys" he said getting their attention. "Do you believe this, why would you blame on Ash. he didn't do nothing" he added reasoning them the right way by telling the truth.

There was no word from them, even the boys as another word rang their ears, this time it was Serena.

"Ash....I-I thought i could trust you" she muttered but loud enough to hear then shook her head. "But no. y-you broke my heart" she added.

"But se-" he was interrupted again with another firmly slap across the face from her, making his head fall back then regains at her.

"Don't say that name.......it's over" she said with those hurtfull words hitting Ash like a truck. His body was paralyzed and heart was stabbing more making it break into two. What he heard was unbearable, what she said was untrue, and what she did left him brokenhearted.

Serena gave one last look at Ash and immediantly start running away, barging into student's in her way and head out the corridor leaving a broken hearted Ash, standing still in same position with his head down, covering his face by the red baseball hat, not showing his expression.

A person behind the corner stood, watching the whole scene with a smile and silently moved away from the corner, heading towards another corridor door.

Students glanced at Serena's leave in their eyes then at Ash who still looked down at ground feeling heartbroken from the break up of his crush, lover and girlfriend. His hand was still in place from the slap he received before making more painfull to bear inside.

"Pika" pikachu slowly walks up to his trainer. tugging his trousers with a worried expression.

His friends watched on with sorry and lost, they wanted to help him but it was too late to do it. Gary didn't believe this at all, not saying the truth to his friend, and save their relationship which was now broken, and now they're split up.

A tear was dropped from Ash's eyes as it land on ground making a silent splash. He was now crying, feeling lonely and lost that his relationship was broken until an arm was wrapped around over his neck.

Ash slowly looked beside to see Gary comforting him.

"Let's go Ash" he responded, knowing that his friend was feeling.

Ash gave a nod. walking away out of crowd and went across the hallway. Alain, Drew and Paul went along with him while the girls did too giving him support and comfort.

Dawn looked at Ash for a moment then back at Serena. She didn't beleive what was shown in front of her own eyes even the message that was sent from her phone. she thought they were perfect and completly in full of love but now it was opposite. She wanted to go after Serena to tell her it was wrong instead she walks with Ash, knowing that her friend may need some time to think.

The students around went to their own lesson since the show was now over. There were text messages and calls about Ash and Serena broken relationship which was going viral around school.

For the past some minuets. The girls have now gone to their own classroom as we now go down hallway.

Gary was walking with Ash, draping around his neck, not letting him go while walking. There was a open seat nearby so he places Ash gently on it and sat down next to him.

Pikachu jumps from the ground and lands on seat beside it's trainer, looking up at him. "pika"

As Gary looks at Ash, all he could see was sadness filled on his feature, it was almost as if he was defeated in battle. Gary knew this was not the Ash he knew. However, there was something he didn't quite get of Serena from that text it showed, so he needs to get the bottom of this so they could get back together, but he hopes he could before it's too late.

With a exaggerating sign, Gary stood up from his seat and walks in front of Ash then squats down getting a clear view on his expression.

"Ash" he spoke, but there was no answer from him as his head was dropped down, not gazing into Gary eyes.

With a sign again, Gary spoke once more time trying to get his attention "Ash"

Here, Ash instantly looked at Gary into his eyes as they meet. Gary looked at him seeing sadness all round him.

"Look, we'll get the bottom of this" Gary commented, trying to help his friend get back up but it was no use.

Ash shook his head in refusal "No Gary, its over."

Gary looked in shocked then anger by gritting his white teeth, he couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"What do mean it's over! You have only been with her for weeks, and now you're giving up! You didn't do anything from that, it's all a lie, you hear me, it's all a lie" he reasoned, Gazing at his lost soul friend in the same position.

"pika, pikachu" Pikachu responded by motioning it's small length yellow paws, siding on Gary's comment.

Ash looked down at his knees but manages to say the words from his lips, With a shook of head. "It's not Gary, she's done with me, she doesn't believe me" he mumbled but loud enough for Gary to hear.

Gary's mouth opened about to speak up but footsteps were heard across, interrupting their conversation. He looked across over his shoulder to see only his friend Alain, Drew and Paul coming over. Gary glanced at them for a moment with mouth closed then at Ash. He stood up from his squat position while gazing at him. Even his other friends did too.

For a short second, Gary spoke with a sigh once again. "Come on Ash, let's go" he calmly said, not saying another word with their conversation has now ended.

Ash sat for a second then stood up from his seat while looking down at the ground. The boys walked away from the seating area and head towards their lesson with a lonely and lost Ash by their side.

Serena POV

pain was inevitable. suffering was optional.

I don't miss him, I miss who I thought he was.

If you really love something set it free. If it comes back it's yours, if not, it wasn't meant to be.

Those words were ringing through my ears. The only reason why i keep hearing those words was i broke up my boyfriend, my childhood hero and my lover from the start. I couldn't even bare leaving him but i had too, he broke up with me first and now here i am, crying from my eyes. i shouldn't be like this, but why am i? i shouldn't really, he doesn't even care about me, maybe his words were a lie. It could be though, or i could be dreaming in my hullicination.

i can't let this feeling get off from my chest, all i wanted to do was scream till the words dry out from my mouth, but i couldn't and this is how i feel right now. inseparable.

I ran straight to a nearby wodden bench where trees were standing behind it with pink petals were sticking on branches. I plopped down with hot tears falling out from my sapphire eyes, wiping them away with both closed hands, but it was no use as they overflowed too much dropping at the dirt ground.

I didn't know what has just happened; my childhood crush just dumped me. I loved him from the start and now, he doesn't love me back. Was this all he cared about. I wanted to love him more but I guess it's over now.

I kept on crying about my dump with no one around me, but i was wrong. I heard footsteps approach me coming my way which gave me full attention. I immediantly looked up to see someone in front of my eyes.

"Serena"

A boy called in a low tone, gazing at me with a worried expression in meters away from me. I didn't know if i could trust him but i need someone to look out for me. He walks up to me and sat down besides, draping his arms around my waist by pulling me closer to him, but the more i look at his blue jacket the more it reminded me of Ashs.

"What's wrong" he said in low calm tone while holding onto me. I don't why but i felt safe in his arms before we got together, which was ages ago but now were just friends.

"C-Calem...H-he d-dumped me" i managed to say the words out with every letter stinging my heart and throat squeezing like someone was grabbing it tightly.

He looked at me in mad expression. "Did he now, shall i go and reason with him"

I shook my head. "No Calem, it's over now, Ash doesn't love me" i said, every time i say his name it always stuck in my head, my slender body wants to me to go to him but i didn't want to.

Calem didn't say a single word and looks mutely away from me as he glanced around the area then at me again, still in his arms around me. I don't why but i felt comfortable with it.

We've been staying like this position for a couple of minutes now until Calem broke it.

He stood up from his seating while looking at me, offering his hand for me stand up with a gentle smile. this was actually the same when me and Ash were childhood friends when he saved me from the forest in summer time at camp.

"Came on let's get to class" he said.

i nod my head in responce, slowly raising my arms up and slid his hand into mine and stood up from my seating. i looked at him with a one tear slid from my right eye as it slides down my cheek.

Calem notices it and puts his thumb gently wiping the tear in one single swipe. cleaning it off.

"Don't cry" he calmy muttered "come lets go" taking my head into mine. I took it without hesitation as we now walked towards the school building. Hand in hand.

A hot crimson Blush inceriates upon my cheeks as i looked at Calem seeing he was different from before. Does he care about me? I thought. My mind kept on playing with a pictures Ash popping in my head like it was telling me to go to him but i didn't want to, he cheated on me.

Should i go to him? or leave him? so much decisions were racing through me. the more i love Ash, the more i couldn't take.

I coulde glimpse at some students walking past by giving us a look and whispered to other students which i couldn't hear what they were saying. I think there were talking about me and Calem; it didn't affect me at all as we arrive at school entering inside the building.

Ash POV

I felt useless overcome me.....destroyed ripping my body apart....lost.

Lost because of my only love that left me broken hearted. I didn't do anything at all, but I'm praying one day will get back together. Serena changed my life with happined and love, but now it was upside down.

Gary was keeping me comfort along with my friends behind my back and Pikachu was walking in four paws on ground beside me. We now head to our class as we were now metres away, turning through another corner.

Soon, a door swung fully open ahead of me, brightening the light which blinded my eyes. I place my flat hand atop of my eyesbrows to get better view. When i did, i couldn't take it anymore with my feeling was bursting out, ripping inside out.

There i saw Serena in range, but she wasn't not alone. Oh no. besides was my rival and enemy. Calem who gave me look as he came close towards me, gazing into my eyes as i did the same, not showing hate but hiding it.

We were now meters, centre metres and finally inches as he stopped in front of me. I looked up at him with mad eyed while he does the same.

I took a slight glance at Gary and Drew since they both hated him; Paul wasn't even bothered but still watched my back while Alain kept looking on since he doesn't know a lot about Calem that much.

"pikaa" pikachu glowered with yellow electric sparks forming out from it's red circular pouch cheeks, glaring at Aalem on the ground in a battle stance position but i motioned him to stop the attack. 

Now, i gazed at Calem as he opened his mouth and spoke.

"Look who we have here. You're the one who broke Serena's heart, didn't you" he mocked with a grin, not showing it to Serena.

I clenched my fist tightly and gritted my teeth, speaking through it "i didn't"

He snorted "well, tell that to Serena then." he replied and looked away from me to behind his back at Serena "isn't that right."

I slid my view away from Calem to Serena giving a pleading look as she gaze at me. I could tell she was crying inside, seeing my face before her. I don't what to say or to tell from my lips. I was paused to say anything, don't know how to express those feeling towards her.

She gazes into my eyes, her beautiful eyes that i adore the most. I wish i could stay like this and look into them forever. There were like trophy keeping within me but now this is different, A different lover, a different women.

She looked at me for a second and nodded her head receiving me yes.

I couldn't take it, she was not on my side no more, and she was gone away from me.

I looked at her again with a pleading look but she looked away from sight, giving one last stab to my weak cold heart slowly beating.

"Just leave Ash" Calem calmy spoke.

I looked at his face as he spoke again.

"She doesn't want you" he replied with a shake of the head. His words echoed through my head, repeating on and on that crashed me into a brick wall.

My eyes widen in shock as they became red with tears forming in them. I looked at Serena once more, she still looked away from me by turning her body away from me in front view, in sideways.

I wanted to say one thing to her, one thing that i always wanted to say.... but those words didn't came out, feeling every man's broken heart that had been rejected before, i was one them now.

Here, Calem walks up to her and draped his free arm around herwaist, pulling her close to his body which made me broken even more like a glass shattered by a cricket ball. My breath was shallow as my dry throat becomes heavy in weights.

I kept looking, she didn't mind at all in his arms. I wish i could be with her one time but I'm too late now, she doesn't believe me.

A curve hand places gently on my free left shoulder, i looked over it to see Gary gazing at me with an exchange expression.

"Let's go Ash" he mumbled, not looking at Serena and Calem as they walk away from my sight.

I looked behind him to see Drew and Alain looking at me while Paul closed his eyes, leaning against his back at locker with arms folded against his chest.

I gave sign escaping my mouth "right" was all could respond.

Pikachu climbs from the bottom of my body, all the way up to my free shoulder then rubs his soft red cheeks on to my z-marks causing me to smile but laugh from the tickle sensation, giving me confident boost.

Gary gave a confident smile. The boys and i walked on away from the scene. Away from my enemy.

Away from my lover.
