Ship name origin: Gelato is an Italian ice cream. Neo is named and designed after a type of ice cream, Neapolitan, an ice cream made up of three separate blocks of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice cream. And Roman, well, his name is the same as the italian empire, the Roman empire.

Opinion: I love this ship to death! When I first saw these two together I instantly shipped them - they work so well together and they're to me that one adorable villain couple. The moments between them in RWBY Chibi is enough to make me want to throw heart confetti over the two! Even though Roman is dead, I still will ship these two. They're just too adorable together.
