Ethan: Good idea! Ash, do you want to go?

Ash: Alright! Serena, you wanna go too?

Serena: Ehh, I don't know...

A voice echoed:

Serena: Huh? Who are you?

The voice (Palkia): I am the god of space... Palkia... And if you don't follow my orders, bad things above will happen.

Serena: Okay? Ash! I want to follow you!

Ash: Brilliant! Let's all head to the battle frontier!

Unova Route 6 music started to play

Ethan: We're here!

Lyra: Wow! It's massive!

Ash: Hey Ethan, remember when you blacked out thanks to Chansey here?

"First off, we have the Battle Factory, where we lend you our Pokémon to battle with others, and if you beat them, you will be able to swap one of the foe's Pokémon for one of one in your party."

Ash: Seems nice...

"Next up, we have the Showdown Arena. You will choose what tier you want to battle in- Little Cup, PU (idk what it stands for), Never Used, Under Used and Over Used. There is a higher tier which is full of legendaries but don't you want fun? Anyway, you choose the Pokémon, pick the items, nicknames, IVs- which will be 31 across the board (perfect) and EVs spread. They sharpen your base stats by a tonne, so think wisely. You can also pick whatever nature you want, which may increase one wanted stat by 10% and decrease one by the same amount. When done, data will be sent to our computer and the team will be generated by PKHeX and will be sent to the PC. Then you will battle others with the team you made. Also, thanks to Smogon, we have enough money to run this system.

Ethan: That sounds brilliant! But... isn't genning your Pokémon wrong?

Ash: Who cares? It's like Nintendo cares anyway!

Serena: *sigh* When will I get my Pokémon again?

Lyra: Don't worry... We'll steal one from the system.

Frontier Guide: It looks like you will spend time here, huh?

Ethan: Yeah! Thanks for showing us around!

Ash: Let's get inside!

And so, they spent time creating their dream teams. All of them chose to battle in the OU tier.

However, Serena seemed to bored out and just went to watch people play, while Lyra watched Ethan make his team...

And so, Ash and Ethan began their journey to they top of the OU ladder. In the end, Ash gave up at Elo 1000 (the lowest you can be). His team was beaten by Ferrothorn, Landorus -Therian, Tangrowth, Mega Charizard Y's Solar Beam and many more...

Much like Ash, Ethan struggled in the beginning. He wasn't used to the Set battle style and the strange battle tactics like weather teams, however, his team managed to pull through and he made it to rank 2.

Only one more battle and he will become number one. But, who could it be?

As Ethan stepped his foot in a random room, somebody familiar was standing there, ready to fight...

Ethan: I would like to battle you, stranger!

???: Me? Battle you? You should know that I am the best OU trainer right now... Do you want to take that back and lose all your rankings?

Ethan: No! Somebody told me, that I would follow my heart's decision. And clearly, this is the direction I want to follow, and I will not stop until I acomplish my goal! Battle me!

???: As you wish...

You are challenged by Pokémon Trainer Kidneypuup!

Ethan: What? It's been you the whole time?

Kidneypuup: Yeah. Did I sound intimidating?

Kidneypuup sent out Landorus!

The battle went on. Many things happened- critical hits, freeze hax, para hax, great plays, bad plays, etc. You name it, it's there. After about 50 turns...

Both sides were onto their last Pokémon...

'Go! Latios! I believe in you!'

Kidneypuup sent out Greninja!

Kidneypuup: Ha! An easy defeat. Since Greninja is naturally faster than Latios, I would OHKO him after Steath Rock damage with Choice Specs Dark Pulse. Any last words?

Ethan: Latios, use Energy Ball!

Thanks to its Choice Scarf, Latios outsped Greninja and landed a critical hit Energy Ball on Greninja, OHKOing him before he could even move.

Kidneypuup: What? How did I not notice this?!

Ethan won the battle!

Serena: Oh, Professor Juniper right here offered me to choose from the Alolan starters - Rowlet, Litten, or Popplio.

Ash: That's awesome! I bet they would never evolve thanks to anime logic!

Serena: Shut up, Ash! It's because you never gave them a chance to. Anyway, I still love you.

Serena grabbed Ash and kissed him by the lips.

Lyra: . . .

Kidneypuup: I'm gonna leave...
