All joking aside, welcome back to Amour Academy! We'll be continuing right where we left off.

(Ash's pov)

Serena and I couldn't believe it. Staggering out of the bushes, was Dawn! Serena took a few steps forward.

"Dawn, what on earth are you doing here!? How did you get past the guard?" Serena asked, flustered and confused.

Dawn was breathing heavily, almost like she had just finished running a marathon. She took a few steps and looked up at us.

"I'm...sorr-" Dawn started to say before toppling to the ground.

Serena let out a gasp and the two of us ran to her side. She was breathing heavily, it was like she had been running for quite some time, and her arms and legs were covered in cuts and bruises.

"Dawn!? Oh my god, Dawn are you alright!?" Asked Serena, frantically shaking Dawn.

...no response.

"She's out cold Sere, it looks like she passed out from exhaustion. Does anyone in the castle know first aid or something?" I said, getting a little worried.

"Yeah, Brock also serves as the castle's resident doctor, I'll go and get him! You stay here with Dawn, okay?" Serena said.

"You can count on me." I replied with a nod.

Serena nodded and headed towards the castle. After she left, I turned my attention back to Dawn. I felt a slight feeling of anger begin to boil up inside. I wanted to be angry at her for what she had done. But, as quickly as it came, the feeling faded away. I remembered what Director Nanu had said, about how she could've been tricked or was unaware that our conversation had been recorded. Plus, she looks like she's in pretty bad shape.

I sighed.

'I'll hold off on being angry until after we ask her a few questions.' I thought to myself.

It didn't take long for Serena, Brock, and a couple of gaurds to make it back. Brock ran over to check Dawn's condition. After a few moments Brock stood up.

"There's no need to worry, your friend here just needs to rest for a bit and she'll be fine." Said Brock.

Serena and I both sighed in relief.

"So it was just exhaustion after all." Serena said.

"Yeah, seems like it." I replied.

Serena ordered one of the guards to pick Dawn up off of the ground.

"Princess Serena, what should I do with this girl?" He asked.

Serena stopped to think for a moment. It seemed like she was having the same mental dilemma that I had a while ago.

"Would you like me to take her to a holding cell, your highness?" Asked the gaurd, a little confused by Serena's silence on the issue.

"No!" Serena shouted.

The guard noticeably flinched at the sudden outburst, and so did I to tell you the truth.

Serena, quickly corrected herself.

"Sorry, what I meant to say was that won't be necessary. You can bring her to my room." Said Serena.

"But your highness, this girl is trespassing on royal grounds. Shouldn't we-" One of the other guards started to say.

Serena shot him a very intimidating glare. It was as if she had suddenly lost every ounce of patience she had.

"You will take her to my room, that is an order." Serena said with a hint of frustration.

"A-as you wish, your highness." Said the guards.

I stood silently as Serena and the others started walking to back to the castle. Serena noticed and turned to me.

"Ash, what's the matter? Come on, we need to get Dawn inside." She said flatly.

"Oh...yeah sorry about that. I guess I just zoned out for a second there." I said, scratching the back of my head.

Serena barely even acknowledged my answer and started walking again. I slowly started to follow.

"Um Sere, are you sure you don't want the gaurds to take her? I mean, they could interrogate her or-" I started to say, before being interrupted.

"We are going to interrogate her ourselves." Serena said in a bitter tone.

"O-oh..." I replied.

We made it the rest of the way to the castle without any of us saying another word.

'Something isn't right. I've never seen Serena act this way before. It's like she's a totally different person. I may have underestimated how angry she was at Dawn. I need to have a talk with her before she does something extreme.' I thought to myself.

We made our way up the stairs and finally to Serena's room. The guard laid Dawn down on the sofa in Serena's room, saluted Serena, and left. Brock and I finished getting her settled in. We slipped a pillow behind her head and covered her with a thin blanket. Brock also put some peroxide and bandages on her cuts. Serena, on the other hand, simply sat on her bed and glared at us as if we were helping  her personal nemesis or something.

"There, that should do it for now. Let me know if you need anything else, you know where to find me." Brock said as he walked out the door.

"Thanks a ton, Brock." I said.

"Yeah..." Said Serena lowly.

An awkward silence fell on us after Brock left. I really wanted to talk to Serena about her attitude, but at the same time I valued my life and wasn't really looking for the inevitable fight. I would hate to have our first fight just a day after we started dating.
However, I couldn't just let her go wild on Dawn without knowing the facts. I guess I have no choice.

'Here it goes' I thought to myself.

"Hey Sere..." I said, breaking the silence with.

"What is it Ash?" She replied flatly.

"Can we step outside for a second, I think we need to talk." I said.

Serena just stared at me for a brief moment. It was clear she knew good and well what I meant.

"...Fine."

Author's note: FINALLY!!

I FINALLY GOT IT DONE!!

My gosh it feels good to be over that horrid writers block. I know I've said this several times, but sorry for the ungodly wait. I promise things are gonna start picking up very soon!

Okay, now that's out of the way, on to some chapter info.

"Interrogation" is going to probably be a three part chapter. Otherwise it will take me forever to write.

Don't worry though, there's going to be some very important plot points and some nice character development in the next few chapters so be ready.

ALSO, I know I said that Amour Academy was almost finished, buut I may have spoken a little too soon.

There's still a while to go before I wind up this glorious tale. So I hope you stick around for the rest of the ride!
