7 years later:

"Anaisha Oberoi, if I find you loitering around the trio and not doing your homework, just pray for what all I am going to do with you." A voice boomed through the mansion and everyone shook their heads.

It was a daily routine for them. Nothing new.

"Trio Uncles, I told you Mumma will scold." A 4 year old Anaisha pouted at her uncles.

"What can we do princess? Your Mumma is dumbo, chipmunk, stinking bag-"

"Weirdo, doofus and blah blah blah." Anaisha said with frustration as it's the only thing the trio talks with Anaisha about their fourth member, Zara.

The three of them, Vedant, Karan and Hredhaan gave her a sheepish smile and she huffed, dramatic as ever just like her mother.

"What did I just say to you?" Zara said, pointing an accusing finger towards her daughter, Anaisha.

"But my homework is done Mumma." She pouted in response.

"Is it? Which one amongst your three Uncles did this time? It must be Vedant because last time it was Hredhaan." Zara scowled.

"I-I-"

"Now where's your witty remark?" Zara asked, seeing her daughter stuttering as what she said was absolutely honest.

"Princess."

"Papa!" Screaming this, Anaisha ran towards the entrance of mansion where her father, Zayan was standing with his arms wide open for his daughter.

Giggles and shoutings were something that could be heard as soon as the father-daughter duo meets everytime. Their connection was strong like anything.

"Zayan, instead of playing with her right now, you should be scolding her." Zara said in frustration, slumping beside him on the couch.

"Why? What did my princess do to make my little wife angry?" He cooed to Anaisha who giggled as his beard would always tickle her just the way it used to Zara.

"Homework again. She got it done by Vedant this time. And let me tell you, if this continues then I don't think she'll be able to learn anything." Zara complained.

"Like mother like daughter." Zayan chuckled.

"What do you mean?" She frowned.

"You used to do the same thing Zara, if you don't remember. Getting your homework done by the trio was your almost daily task till I used to scold you for this." He responded, still laughing at the similarity.

"Whatever. But you see, you were there to scold me and in the case of our Anaisha, we don't have anyone." Zara reasoned.

"Aishu! You broke my car again!" A yell was heard and the little Anaisha ran away like a mice, now scared like anything.

"Look! Here's your saviour." Zayan smirked making Zara chuckle.

"Zayan Uncle, Zara Aunt, where's Aishu?" A 6 year old Varun frowned, his face displaying the anger quite well.

"What did she do to my little baby?" Zara cooed, pinching his cheeks.

"I am not little anymore. I am 6 and the oldest kid in this house." Varun grumbled making them laugh.

"Still a kid and you said it yourself." She pointed out which made him lost in his dreamland.

"Leave it na." Varun said after sometime.

"I am not. You still haven't drink your milk." Anya said coming to the living room with a glass full of milk in her hand.

"But it's smelly." Varun scrunched up his nose.

"Yeah and let me tell the same to your father." Anya nodded and before she could utter any other word, the glass was snatched away from her hands and gulped down in a second by none other than, Varun.

"Why are you holding her and not me, Dad?" Varun grumbled glancing at Anaisha in the arms of Hredhaan.

"Because she told me you're screaming at her again." Hredhaan pointed out.

Varun was the son of Hredhaan and Anya who were married only 3 months after Zayan and Zara. They were college buddies and when no party had any problem with the alliance, the wedding was conducted. And it was only a year later after their marriage that their first child, Varun was born, him being the elder brother of Anaisha, who was born 3 years after Zayan and Zara's marriage.

"Only because she broke my new car which you bought for me yesterday itself." He whined kicking his leg.

"Anaisha." Hredhaan said with raised eyebrows, looking at her seriously.

"Sorry. I only did this because he didn't let me play with it." She reasoned, while pouting.

"And that's because she was playing instead of doing her homework. Zara Aunt gave me the responsibility of making her do the homework." Varun huffed.

"Varun baby, I'll buy another one for you. Don't angry yourself because of this." Zara said lifting him in her arms.

"And you Anaisha, if I find you breaking things again, specially Varun's, just see what I am going to do with you." Zara said pointedly to her daughter who looked at her father with puppy eyes who just shrugged in response.

This irked Anaisha so much being the dramatic girl she is that she made Hredhaan take her away from everyone.

And the rest of five, Zayan, Zara, Anya, Vedant and Karan could only shake their heads, making Zayan, Vedant and Karan see a new avatar of Zara in the form of Anaisha.

"Mumma." A knock was heard on the door of Zara and Zayan who were busy sleeping soundless, wrapped in each other's arms.

"Anaisha?" Zara frowned seeing her daughter on their doorstep at 2 in the midnight.

"I couldn't sleep." She pouted and Zara immediately lifted her in her arms.

"Did Varun kick in his sleep today as well?" She asked softly.

"Yes." She yawned.

"Alright. So today Anaisha will sleep with her Mom and Dad." Zara said lovingly.

"But I am hungry." She said adorably, patting her stomach.

"Well me too. Let's bake a cake, what's say?" Zara asked hopefully.

"Yay!" Anaisha grinned as her life with Zara can never be boring in such context.

And soon they were loitering in the kitchen with Anaisha glued on Zara's hips, them baking their favourite chocolate cake together.

The mess displayed the level of non cooks they were, no matter Zara was now 29.

"What are you two exactly doing in the kitchen at 4 AM?" Zayan asked, coming in the way of kitchen while rubbing the back of his head.

"Baking cake!" Zara said excitedly and Anaisha nodded clapping her hands.

"What?" He repeated shocked like anything.

"You did the same yesterday's night itself and still you both aren't satisfied?" He continued grumbling.

"Well, unlike you we aren't boring to sleep at 2 AM." Zara scoffed.

"It's something a normal human being does." He glared at her.

"Whatever. Now help us in the icing of cake." Zara waved him off to come near them.

Making a weird face at her orders, Zayan was soon standing beside his two lifelines, baking a cake together which was the favourite task of two girls.

"And it's done. You did a great job baby." Zara grinned kissing Anaisha's cheek who giggled lightly.

"Give some to me as well! I helped you with the icing." Zayan grumbled to the two who were busy gobbling up the cake.

"Uh huh." Anaisha shook her head, still devouring the cake.

"Icing is the easiest step. You don't really have any input in this cake for which we should share this with you." Zara reasoned.

"Doesn't matter." Saying this, he snatched the piece from Zara's hand who could only stare at him wide eyed with the speed he ate the cake.

"Zayan!" She whined.

"Zara." He mimicked.

"Stop it." It was none other than Anaisha.

"Why are you both fighting? We three are a family so we'll share." Anaisha continued with a cute smile.

"Wrong." Zara pointed out.

"How?" She scowled at her mother.

"Because everyone in this house is a family. Not just us three. Your Uncles, Aunt, Varun and both sets of grandparents as well." Zara replied with a soft smile and Zayan gave her a proud smile secretly.

"Varun bro as well?" She scrunched up her face.

And one look from Zara made her shut her mouth immediately.

"Varun is my bestfriend and best brother." While saying this Anaisha laughed nervously and the two shook their heads at her antics.

But Zayan knew where she got her behaviour from. It was none other than Zara who acted the exact same in her childhood.

"I love you." Anaisha grinned looking at Zayan and Zara respectively.

"We love you too." They replied at the same time and the small part of this big family hugged each other tightly.

"Zara loves Zayan even more than before." Zara whispered in his ears in between.

"Zayan loves Zara more than ever." Zayan whispered back making her blush.

And this was the story of Zayan and Zara where they compliment each other in best of ways, Zara being the childish one in their bond, lighting up their marriage and Zayan being the mature one who never forgets to spoil and scold his wife at the same time as at the end Zayan loves Zara while Zara loves Zayan.
