"Kiaan, I am seconds away from beating your ass. Remove your fucking hefty hand from my waist." Natasha shouted in Kiaan's ears.
"Nat, just sleep. We can talk in the morning. I am tired as hell after the wedding." Kiaan mumbled pulling Natasha closer to him.
Kiaan and Natasha didn't even realize when the days had passed and they were now married. To each other. Things were normal for both of them past these days, but Natasha had this weird feeling which she was trying her best to suppress.
The first thing she did after reaching Kiaan's penthouse after their wedding was pouncing on the bed only to sleep. Only Kiaan knows how he made Natasha agree to change her clothes as she was in her wedding attire. After all he didn't want her to be uncomfortable.
"It's already morning idiot." Natasha responded snuggling into him more.
"Huh? What time is it?" Kiaan questioned as he had to go to his gym as per routine.
"Around 9-ish." Natasha replied, not even slightly bothered.
"Shit! I am late." He muttered getting up from the bed in a haste.
Natasha who was sleeping comfortable as ever in his arms now missed the feeling, now annoyed.
"Kiaaaaan." Natasha whined.
"What?" He questioned from the closet where he was changing his clothes.
"Don't go today. I want you in the bed with me." Natasha replied without any hesitation.
"You what?" Kiaan questioned horrified, coming back into the bedroom. He was just in a pair of shorts, bare from the upper half showing his developed muscles and abs.
"I felt so comfy moments ago. Just come na." Natasha responded peeking with one eye.
"Just get up Nat. It's already 9:30 and you cannot waste the day sleeping." Kiaan reasoned.
"Bro, we don't have anything to do. Sleeping is the best option." Natasha said with a known look.
She was now wide awake, but she didn't make any efforts to get up from the bed. She was still in the same position as before.
"What did you just say?" Kiaan questioned with a hard look.
"Uhh- nothing?" She replied as she suddenly realized what she had uttered.
"Nat, get the fact through your thick head that we are married. I wouldn't appreciate you calling me these things from now on." Kiaan said with a stern look.
"I hate you." Was Natasha's response.
"Don't say that Nat. I know our case is a bit different than others, but please understand that which guy would like his girl calling him bro." Kiaan explained sitting beside her.
Natasha's heart fluttered when Kiaan said 'his girl'. She wasn't used to him calling her such things or the endearments he had started using these past days. It all felt enchanting to her.
She just looked at him with raised eyebrows and Kiaan sighed. It was the first time they didn't realize or got to know the things happening with each other. They share everything basically so, feeling these weird things now took a toll on Natasha.
In between Kiaan had gone outside the bedroom to bring water which Natasha had 'ordered' him to and him being the sweet husband he is, he compiled.
As Kiaan returned back to the bedroom, Natasha was busy standing beside the bed, lost in her imaginary world. Tip toeing, Kiaan made his way towards her only to lift her up in his arms and throw her on the bed, too sudden for her liking.
"Kiaan!" Natasha shouted, glaring at him.
"What? I do that every time." Kiaan responded with a known look.
"But I am not on my period every time when it's paining like hell." Natasha yelled.
"I didn't know that Nat. I am sorry." He said cradling her.
Natasha eyes were glistening in fresh tears. She always had terrible cramps in her periods where the pain was almost unbearable. And the mood swings never made it any easier.
"It was paining and you didn't make it any better." Natasha cried hitting his chest.
"I know, Nat. Just try to relax. Take deep breaths." Kiaan said cupping her face.
He knew Natasha's condition in her periods as he was the only man and only bestfriend of hers in her life. He was basically her support system.
Natasha's sniffles had subsided down by now, but her pain didn't. Kiaan's heart was clenching seeing her state, but he just couldn't do anything in this matter to stop it.
"Why don't you take a warm bath? I'll arrange it for you just the way you like." Kiaan asked softly.
"Yes, please." Natasha said sniffling loudly this time.
Five minutes later, Kiaan lead Natasha to the bathroom where he'd prepared a special bath for his wife. Natasha immediately got inside, locking the door behind her and went to do her business.
//////////
Thirty minutes later, Natasha was sprawled out on the couch in living room in one of Kiaan's hoodie which she secretly loves and one of her sweatpants. This was the most comfortable thing she found at this moment and loved.
"Where were you?" She asked Kiaan who made his presence in the living room with a bag in his hand.
"I went to the supermarket to bring this for you." He replied casually, putting the bag in her lap and sitting beside her.
"Aww Kiaan. I have such an amazing husband." Natasha cooed looking at the treats he had bought for her.
There were various chocolate, candies, chips, nuts and junk food whatever is her favourite and Natasha happiness was no bounds.
"Here, drink this first." Kiaan said giving her a glass full of milk.
Natasha scrunched up her face in disgust. She always hated milk and Kiaan knew it very well.
"Nat, don't argue this time." Kiaan warned in the first place.
Natasha pouted, but nonetheless took the milk from him and drank it in a go just so that she wouldn't have puked by longing it.
"I am suddenly not liking the interior of your penthouse. It's too dark-ish." Natasha said lost into space.
"Seriously? You were the one who chose everything for the interior." Kiaan said.
"But I didn't know that time that I would be living here permanently as your wife." Natasha shrugged.
"I'll get it changed then." Kiaan muttered.
"Wait Kiyu! When did I say I want it changed? You shouldn't be accepting each of my demands." Natasha said with a known look.
"What if I want to?" Kiaan asked back.
"Oh, is this how best friends behave these days?" She cooed in return making his ears turn red in return.
They both continued their banters just the way they are used to. For Kiaan it was normal as ever as he was used to his feelings, but for Natasha everything was new. She had this nagging feeling behind the things that were taking place and her mood swings didn't make it any easier.
/////////
Natasha and Kiaan were cuddled up on the bed of his bedroom with a Romcom movie playing on the flat TV screen ahead of them. Kiaan had taken a break from office due to the wedding and Natasha was still on her leave so, they decided upon a movie ending up in this position.
A kissing scene between the couple of the movie suddenly popped up making Natasha a bit uncomfortable. It had been hundreds of times that theu both have witnessed moments like these, specially intimate ones, but this time it was different. For both of them.
"Uhh-my phone is vibrating." Natasha lied picking her phone that laid beside her.
"Really?" Kiaan mocked stopping her in between.
His hand was holding hers tightly while his gaze was stuck on her eyes with a great intensity. Natasha was frozen at her place. Had she been used to his touches where she would even sit in his lap for the comfort she gets, but now everything felt different yet good to her.
Kiaan's face was now inches away from Natasha and they both were lost in each other's eyes. He brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear and Natasha shivered at the contact for the first time in her life.
Their lips were now this close to each other that one movement from either of them would cause them to kiss. Groaning lowly, Kiaan brushed his lips against her and Natasha was shocked. Her mouth had resulted in being wide open making Kiaan's tongue enter. But as soon as both of them realized what had happened, they backed up looking at each other awkwardly.
She quickly scrambled out of the bed and ran to the bathroom while Kiaan was in the same position as before, now running a hand through his hair. Both of them were confused to now bounds, but Kiaan's was atleast known to him whereas Natasha was totally oblivious.
//////////
Both of them were lounging in the living room after their dinner. It had been a fortnight since their wedding and things were surprisingly different between them. For 2-3 days, they both behaved weirdly with each other just because of the kiss, but some efforts from Kiaan's side changed everything back to normal.
They had made a healthy routine considering both of their lives which included the dinner as well. Kiaan would come home earlier than he used to before and Natasha had become a bit more mature which was again unexpected.
"Kiaan, I am saying this for the very last time. Give me the remote." She glared at her husband.
"I can't watch another one of your movies Nat. Just let me watch football." Kiaan complained.
"Just wait." Saying this Natasha climbed up on him who was sitting beside her.
She was trying to get the remote from his hands, but the fact Kiaan was way bigger and his long and strong hands didn't make it easier. Without realizing, they were now in a position where she was sitting on top of his thighs, straddling him with their chests touching.
As Kiaan was busy looking at her with an unknown look, Natasha realized her surroundings and squirmed lightly. This didn't go unnoticed by him as he wrapped his arms around her waist, securing her in the place making her shock.
Natasha's breathing wavered at their close contact and Kiaan was busy admiring the beauty in his arms. He leaned forward brushing his lips against her and Natasha's hand made their way to his chest. As he tried kissing her feverishly, Natasha backed up a little again.
"You know we can't do this." Natasha breathed out, her cheeks flush.
"Fuck the contract." Kiaan groaned claiming her lips again.
As soon as Natasha heard those words from his mouth, she let out every doubt that was inside of her. Kiaan crashed his lips on hers again in a sensual kiss. He was kissing her open mouthed with his hands roaming all over her back while Natasha was trying her best to respond. He tried pushing his tongue inside of her mouth, tired with the previous contact, but she denied him access. Pinching her waist resulted in Natasha gasping and he took this opportunity to swipe his tongue inside of her mouth.
He was exploring her mouth completely and Natasha let out every doubt and worry of hers in that kiss. It wasn't that she didn't want to kiss him or anything. She just had her own insecurities which were certainly fading.
Both were now breathing heavily after the intimate contact. Her forehead was resting against his and all that was heard was their loud breathing.
She wrapped her arms around his neck hiding her face in the crook of his neck and snuggling her petite frame more into him while her thoughts were stuck on one thing.
Flashback:
A 17 year old Natasha was sitting in the corner of her room, hugging her knees that were touching her chest. Her red nose, puffy cheeks and eyes were a proof of her state, but as always she had no one.
"Natasha!" She heard a loud voice.
An 18 year old Kiaan barged into her room breathing heavily as he was busy searching for his bestfriend throughout her house which certainly was big.
"Nat, please tell me why are you crying. You know I was worried sick when I heard your crying voice on our call." Kiaan said softly, sitting beside her.
Natasha just shook her head and continued crying hysterically. In return, he pulled her by her arm and embraced her into a tight, much needed hug.
"I hate them." Natasha complained all of a sudden.
"Who Nat?" Kiaan questioned still embracing her in a hug while patting her back soothingly.
"My friends or should I say my classmates." She responded with distaste.
"What did they do?" Kiaan asked again.
"Like everytime, they said that I am not that good or fun of a person to be someone's friend other than you. And they said I was a fool because they were talking about their boyfriends and I don't have one so, I don't know anything related to that matter." Natasha let it out.
"They are idiots if they say you're not fun to be around. They're just jealous that you have such an amazing bestfriend who cares only for you while they have fake friends. You tell me what you need. Only bestfriend like me or friends like them who degrade everyone?" Kiaan explained.
"Of course you. There's no chance I am leaving you for anyone else." Natasha replied instantly.
"Not even if you get a boyfriend?" Kiaan questioned with his heart beating loudly.
"No one would like to be my boyfriend Kiaan. The girls said I am too plain and I don't even know the things a girlfriend should do." She responded innocently.
"What things Nat?" He asked.
"Like the girlfriend-boyfriend stuff." Natasha pouted.
"Nat, one doesn't needs to do these things just to be declared as daring. And not everyone needs to have a boyfriend just to pass a certain friend's tag." Kiaan reasoned.
"But it is true Kiaan. Who would want to be with me? The things they like to do, I basically don't know anything." Natasha cried.
"Even I don't. You know it that I don't have any friends besides you. Especially like you fake ones." Kiaan said.
"They are." Natasha agreed with tears still flowing out of her eyes.
"And like I said earlier you don't need anymore friends when you have me. Promise me you won't cry or feel bad about this nonsense. I will be there for you always." Kiaan ended with a smile.
"Always? Promise?" Natasha asked with her eyes twinkling.
"Always." Kiaan confirmed with a big smile.
"I love you!" She squealed pecking his lips.
"Nat, do you have any idea about what you just did?" Kiaan asked with a hard look.
"I am sorry Kiaan. I didn't know you will also dislike my kiss. I thought you're my bestfriend so, you'll like this. But I am so wrong. Nobody will like me. Ever." She let out a sob at the end.
"What?" Kiaan asked with furrowed eyebrows. He had no idea where Natasha's mind was running at present.
"You felt bad and disgusted when I kissed you right? That's what I was talking about." Natasha replied still crying.
"When did I say I felt bad or disgusted? You're my bestfriend Nat. The only person who matters to me. Even more than my parents and you know the reason why." Kiaan said looking directly in her eyes.
"But you still didn't want to kiss me." She shrugged.
"Oh, you're so wrong." He mumbled, crashing his lips on hers right there.
"I love you too." He mumbled in between making Natasha giggle.
It had been numerous of times when they said 'I love you's' to each other as they had always been the only person for each other. But they surely hadn't kissed before. Kiaan had eventually turned from the not so confident child to a smart and intelligent one while the bubbly and cute Natasha had turned into a lone soul who would only like Kiaan's presence. Their parents had never been an option for both of them and her brother would always be busy with his own friends.
Days passed and the weirdness between Natasha and Kiaan increased with passing time. No matter how much they tried to act normal, either of them would remember their kiss leading to acting strange. Natasha had started speaking less making Kiaan annoyed every single time and he couldn't stay with her anymore this way.
"Nat, I am so done with your behaviour. This was the reason I was not so sure about us kissing." Kiaan said with a hard look barging into her bedroom where she was busy reading a novel.
"Kiaan-" Natasha started, but he stopped her knowing he would again give any random reason just the way she had been giving since a month.
"No Natasha. I have come prepared this time. Sign this." Kiaan said forwarding a paper.
"What's this?" She asked in confusion.
"Read it yourself." He muttered.
Best Friends Contract
•I promise to forget about the kiss that happened a month ago.
•I promise to never try to kiss the latter.
•I promise to continue living our lives like we did before the kiss.
•I promise to annoy the other for my problems which we'd stopped for a whole month because of the kiss.
•I promise never to hide anything like we did after the kiss.
•I promise we'll always be bestfriends.
I hereby agree to these conditions.

The first thing Natasha did after reading was to laugh. She couldn't believe that a person like Kiaan would come up with something like this.
"You're so cute." Natasha commented looking cheekily at her bestfriend.
"Oh really? Just sign it then I have something to do for us." He said leaning on her desk.
Natasha took the pen from her desk and signed just beside where Kiaan had already signed. With a 'click' she closed the pen and handed over the contract back to him.
He then lead her to the park nearby her house where they both would play together even a few years back. Getting the utmost corner, he placed the paper in her hands and bend down to dig a small hole with his hand. He then gestured her to place the contract in the hole he'd dig and Natasha smiled in realization, placing the paper inside. He then immediately covered the hole with the remaining sand such that the hole wasn't evident anymore and one couldn't point out anything. Their secret was buried inside the ground just like the feelings they'd buried deep inside their hearts unknowingly which were begging to come out.
Flashback ends.
//////////
"Nat? I am sorry." She heard Kiaan's voice.
"Why?" She asked still snuggled onto him.
"Because I kissed you, again." He responded with a sigh.
"What if I liked it?" She questioned looking at him this time.
"Y-you did? Meaning, you won't behave weird with me again because of this?" Kiaan questioned surprised.
"You know you have always been the only man or let's say person who I genuinely care about. I love you for that matter, but have always suppressed this feeling. Us getting together in this context and doing such things. It feels weird to hear, doesn't it?" Natasha said placing her head on his chest.
"It does. But what if it all gets natural with time?" Kiaan said.
"Then it would be the best thing. I have no one else important in my life who I know I care about deep down other than you. And then we are married." Natasha exclaimed.
"You're the only person left as a reason for me to live." Kiaan muttered, not even thinking about his parents once remembering his childhood.
"What about your parents?" Natasha questions, knowing the answer.
"You know how and why they care for me. It's all an act for the business." He responded running a hand through her hair.
"Same. Our parents have never been there for us since the childhood. All they care about is the 'happy family' act and money. Their care is also felt only that time." Natasha muttered in distaste.
"True. We are used to this Nat. The best thing is we have each other knowing each other to the fullest." Kiaan said looking into space with a small smile.
"Forever and ever?" Natasha asked.
"Forever and ever. You're my wife now and you see I am possessive as hell about my girl." Kiaan said.
Natasha's happiness was no bounds when she heard him say 'my girl' again. Kiaan wasn't someone who would put his feelings or thoughts into words and Natasha was used to this. He had been a man of few necessary words that too only for Natasha, but now it was a whole new situation.
"I love you." Natasha said cheekily.
The way she said it was the same how she had all these years back. As an bestfriend. As a person whom she genuinely cares about. This wasn't a way she said that meant it was for her husband or a lover.
"I love you too." Kiaan said placing his forehead on hers.
She didn't make any effort to get up from his lap resulting in her sleeping in his arms itself. Kiaan looked at the beauty, his wife in his arms and picked her up still in his arms leading to the bedroom. He placed Natasha on the bed who turned for a few times, but eventually settled herself. Kiaan also joined her a couple of minutes later when Natasha turned again in his direction, snuggling into him more they way she had gotten used to these past days and Kiaan himself wrapped his arms around her leading to no such gap between them.
"I really love you, Kiyu." Natasha mumbled hoarsely, still in her sleep, but this was a time where Kiaan felt a weird feeling in his heart. It wasn't like other times.
