The person who was driving the other car came out with a bang and yanked the door open of her car. The very next moment, her lifeless body fell into that person's arms as neither she had the seatbelt on nor she had the energy to stay straight or support her own body.

Atharva's eyes met her pale face and it felt as if his breath was knocked out of his lungs.

"Ayla? Baby?" He breathed out, lifting her completely in his arms like anyone does to a small baby.

He lead her almost lifeless figure back to his car where he met with Rishi and Tarun's shocked faces.

"Move away! Move out of the way! She needs to lie down. Open the bloody doors and windows. The air needs to pass!" He shouted at the two, placing Ayla on the backseat, keeping her head on his lap.

"Baby, wake up please. Look, I am here. Your Atharva is here. Nothing has happened to you. You're strong right?" He cajoled her, but there was no response from her side.

"Give me water. Where is that goddamn bottle?" He yelled trying to find the bottle of water that Ayla never forgets to give him every morning just so he is thirsty while driving.

"Here." Rishi calmly forwarded towards him who snatched it in an instant.

He sprinkled some of it continuously on her face and finally she opened her eyes, barely able to see anything.

There was haze clouding her vision and the only thing she wanted was to close them back, and fall into a deep slumber.

"Atharva?" She lazily asked, lump formed in her throat.

"Yes baby?" He tried to calm her down.

"T-They-" She tried to say, but nothing came out of her mouth more than this.

"I know baby. I know. They will pay for everything they did." He rubbed her cheeks and she tried to sit in his lap but was difficult due to no energy left.

He helped her in the process such that now she had her smal frame in his lap, upper body buried against his hard chest, feeling the comfort, the feel of someone who is her own.

"Let's get you home now, hmm? Doctor will check you as soon as we'll reach. Everything will be perfectly fine." He soothed her down and she merely nodded in return yet he understood.

"Tarun, you take her home right now. I'll come as soon as I'll be free with them by showing their places." Atharva gritted out to Tarun who nodded in agreement.

"No!" Ayla almost yelled, holding Atharva even tighter.

"She needs you Atharva. We'll handle everything." Rishi slightly nodded, knowing how much Ayla required his presence.

For everyone who was close to Atharva, Ayla was no less than their sister who they had pledged to save whenever needed and protect her from everything bad.

"Trust us bhai." Tarun too joined.

"Of course. I believe you." Atharva nodded back in understanding and the two began the rest of the journey with the car Ayla had come till here.

"I love you baby. I love you so much. And you've made me so proud by showing how strong my wife is." He breathed out, as he kissed her tears away who lazily smiled, again burying herself in his chest. The single place she was feeling comfort in after the horrendous truths she learned today.

"Let's get home, shall we?" He told her buckling in the passenger seat who instantly dozed off due to complete drain of energy.

He quickly sit himself in the driver's seat, quickly U turning the car as he drove towards their house in the fastest of speed, left hand holding her right hand as he drew soothing circles on the hack of her palm.

His baby was safe.

And the only thing left to be done was showing people the place they actually belonged to.

//////////

The sound of water falling in the big bathtub was heard as he slowly and soothingly rubbed her petite figure to calm her nerves, loosen the knots formed.

She was sitting on his thighs, back pressed against his chest lazily completely naked. He was the one doing all of the tasks.

"Mmm." She lowly moaned as he massaged one particular spot, pain slowly decreasing due to the magic in his hands.

"Feels good, huh?" He asked and she merely nodded.

He placed a kiss on her bare shoulder making her lean towards him some more.

And then he heard a sniffle from her side making him go all panicked.

"Ayla, are you crying?" He asked in a soft tone.

"No." She shook her head with a big sniffle.

"Baby, look at me and tell what's wrong." He pleaded, rubbing soothing circles on her shoulders with his one hand while other was caressing her hair.

"Everything is wrong here Atharva. Everything. I don't know how to react or what to say. I am completely shook with what happened today." She croaked out with difficulty.

"M-My- someone who I considered my own,my family betrayed me. What's even there say more than this?" She breathed out shaking her head.

"I am sorry to say this, but I would never be able to accept Tanvi back in my life no matter how much she regrets or repents for her actions. Well, I doubt she will even do that." She said looking at him sideways as her eyes were glistening with tears.

"You don't have to. And not just you, I won't accept her as well. What she did was unacceptable." He calmed her down, cupping her cheeks.

"She's your sister Atharva. You-"

"Didn't you tell me that she chose her husband before her family? Husband of a month over her family of 21 years? You're my everything Ayla. You're my life. My reason to live. And it will never take me more than a second to choose. It'll always be you. Only you because you're mine just like I am yours." He murmured, brushing his lips against hers as he had now turned his figure such that their chest were face to face.

She had her eyes glistening with fresh tears. She hadn't cried when she explained what all happened to Atharva or why Tanvi did all of that. She didn't feel pain. Those names only bought numbness to her body.

"H-H even abuses her yet she's obsessed over him. Everything in our lives feel insane to be honest. I don't know who to trust or who to not." She said who looked dumbfounded at the new revelation.

"Do- y-you- think T-Tanvi is-"

"Mentally tortured? It's more than possible Atharva. From her way of speaking and the looks she was giving, it's evident. But to be honest, it won't be completely Varun's fault in all of this. Leela and Tanvi are on the same level. From the beginning, Tanvi was ready to take me out of the way. Even before she got to know the complete truth of Varun." Ayla said shaking her head lightly.

"Handle this however you want with your sister and the other two. I know you'll take the best decision. But one thing I know is I won't be living in the same house as Tanvi nor I want her to be in my territory. She has caused enough damage and I am not ready for such bullshit again." Ayla said firmly and Atharva gave her a small smile.

"She won't be coming anywhere near my wife now. Not her, not anyone else." Atharva mumbled as their faces neared each other's.

"You're so strong baby, so strong. You've made it clear that you don't need anyone else to save you. My wife is the strongest woman I know and I am so proud of you for handling everything like this." He said pecking her forehead and she giggled happily with tears in her eyes, lips quivering.

And finally his rough lips met with her soft and plump ones. She immediately melted into his arms, wrapped her slender hands around his neck for support as she titled her face to give him more access. He deepened the kiss, plunging his tongue inside her mouth while other went to caress her plump breasts, pinching her nipple repeatedly.

She could feel his hard on below that was poking her bare folds. And without exchange of any words, they understood their needs.

He gave her support so she could lift herself a bit and the very next moment, she sinked down on his hard and long member, taking in every bit of him as her mouth dropped open due to the pleasure.

//////////

There was an eerie silence in the lounge. Even the lights were dimmed and no one dared to utter a word seeing the angry form of Atharva, Tarun and their father, Raghav Grover.

There was no one expect the close family members.

"How can you even say this Bhai? I am your sister and you're believing an outsider more than-" Tanvi couldn't complete her fake sobs when a harsh stinging pain on her cheek landed.

Atharva had had enough listening his sister speak bullshit about his wife. His wife who he knew was innocent in all this drama.

His tight slap landed on his sister's cheek who looked at him bewildered, her lips quivering due to the shock and pain. There was a clear and red handprint of his hand on Tanvi's cheek.

"Bhai-"

"Stop bloody calling me that. You're not my sister! You can never be the sister I have known since she was this little. The only thing you are now is that asshole's puppy. Your bastard of a husband Varun!" He roared, pushing her away who tried to get closer to him.

"Fuck it! Don't take my name with this little bitch's name. She can never be my ideal wife." Varun yelled while thrashing in the arms of Rishi who was holding him.

Rishi wanted to smack that ego out of him in a snap. This man had been uttering some serious nonsense since he had arrived. He was sick and he clearly didn't deserve to live. But the one reason he didn't was he knew Atharva wanted to torture this man. Torture ten times more than they'd done to his wife, who wasn't at fault at all.

"Varun? What are you saying? I- I am your wife-" Tanvi was limping towards her husband who was standing in the corner.

As soon as she neared Varun, she was pushed by Varun who had did this in the merciless of ways.

She won't lie. This hurted even more than Atharva's as it directly pierced her heart.

Rishi twisted his neck, a painful cry coming out of his mouth as he held him again.

"A-Ayla- come on, you cannot keep hiding the truth. Tell Bhai right fucking now that you're the one lying and I didn't do anything-"

She was marching towards Ayla with a threatening look another slap landed on her cheek.

And this was the most painful thing she ever witnessed.

Ayla had finally given not even the 1% of the pain Tanvi deserved.

"Enough! Enough of this bullshit of yours Tanvi! Who do you even think you are to do all of this with me? Tell me one thing. What is my fault in this? What is my fault that you got an asshole of a husband who treats you like trash? What is my fault that our friendship wasn't enough for you that you got another bestfriend who only knew how to take benefits from you? You need mental treatment, you're a psycho!" Ayla yelled with all the energy she had.

"Instead of sharing about all of this, you went through this abuse that has literally affected your brain. You got into their plan for all of this? Tell me one thing, what would you have achieved if you would have gained the satisfaction of getting me out of the way? Hmm? Varun would've stopped his abuse on you?" Ayla asked jabbing her finger on her chest who took steps full of fear back.

"AMSWER ME!" Ayla screamed at her face who bursted out sobbing.

What was to respond? She realized it how she wouldn't have gained anything with this. No matter Varun's cousin, Leela would be happy at fact Ayla was out of their ways, Varun would have never given the title and respect she deserved. He had ruined everything inside of her. And because of which she was all to ruin others too.

"You are obsessed over him right? Come on, ask him right now. Ask him if he even loves you genuinely. Or ask him if he would now give you the title and respect as he should to his wife. I would even forgive you if he's ready to take you back with him." Ayla challenged Tanvi who let out a wavered breath.

She didn't have the courage to ask him this. And it was because of only one reason. She knew all answers to these questions.

It was a big NO!

"I am not taking this bitch-"

"Get him out of my sight Rishi! Keep him and his pathetic cousin in the dungeon separately. I'll deal with them after I deal with this betrayer here." Atharva yelled while looking at Varun with red eyes who kept thrashing but was in a motion dragged by Rishi.

Tarun, without caring about the fact that he was dealing with a woman, pushed Leela taking her bleached hair in a harsh grip as she cried in pain. And soon there was no sight of the two cousins in the lounge of their house.

"I am sorry." Was what she whispered between her body wracking sobs.

Her mother who was standing in another corner was silently observing everything. Her heart as a mother was telling her to ask everyone to stop treating Tanvi like this. But then Ayla's face would flash in front of her eyes. In what condition Atharva had brought her home hours ago. She barely looked alive. She had lost every color. She didn't say anything. The only person who she till now was speaking to Atharva, that too in monosyllables.

"Please forgive m-me...." She barely said as she clutched her stomach.

Atharva was about to pull her harshly when Ayla's grip on his forearm stopped him.

"Don't. She's pregnant." Ayla whispered to him lowly.

"I am not! I don't have a baby inside of me. My baby is dead. He killed my baby. He has killed my soul!" Tanvi screamed, clutching her head tightly and everyone looked bewildered at what she just spoke.

"What are you talking about?" Ayla asked her.

"He killed my baby. Varun killed my baby the exact date when we got to know about my pregnancy. He destroyed everything. He destroyed me. He destroyed my soul." She said, rocking herself lightly.

This wasn't the Tanvi they knew. This wasn't what they expected.

"And yet you decided to take someone else's soul too? Helping the person who you're saying destroyed you? You are no less than that man. You deserve as equal punishment as him." Atharva hissed as he took two steps back from his sister.

"Because why should I be the only one to go through the pain? What have I done to go through all this? Was loving him my fault?" Tanvi screamed helplessly.

"It wasn't love Tanvi. It was obsession. There's a difference between the two. And he did all of this because you were that easy to be manipulated. You have brought this upon yourself!" Vinita Grover, their mother finally appeared and shouted at her daughter.

Tanvi kept shaking her head as if she didn't want to believe this. There was this nagging voice behind her head that whatever everyone was saying mad absolute sense and what she did was something done not in her real self.

"And you better forget about that man now because one thing that I can assure you is this that Varun Jaisingh won't be seeing the sun again. He will die. I will kill him with my own hands and that pathetic bitch. Cry all you want but forget that you were married to a man named Varun." Atharva yelled at his sister who cowardly nodded her head, still sobbing continuously.

Her hiccups were echoing in the big mansion as she rocked her self on the floor, knees touching her chest. Her disheveled state should've bought satisfaction to Ayla's heart but it didn't. She just simply removed her gaze from Tanvi and looked distantly.

"Get the fuck up from here. Get out of my house right now!" Atharva yelled while pointing towards her who looked at him bewildered.

Where will she go now? She basically had no one else except them. The people who she was ready to cause pain just for her husband's and bestfriend's satisfaction. Now, why would they want her when she was the one in first place to betray them?

"Bhai-"

Tanvi whispered helplessly.

"Don't you dare call me that. Don't you fucking dare." Atharva roared.

Without wasting any second, he gripped her forearm, yanking her body upwards and dragged her towards the entrance of the mansion.

Her pain was nothing compared to what Ayla felt, Atharva believed.

"Dad! Mom! Bhai- Please stop this- p-please....." She kept on weeping as he dragged her but this time no one came forward to support her.

They simply removed their gazed from her. It was again nothing compared to what Ayla felt when she was being dragged by the abductors where even the blood was trickling down.

And the very next moment the door was shut on her face and everyone knew it was the time where they'd cut all relations with Tanvi. What she did was disgraceful and offensive. And there was no place for betrayers in their lives, and their world.

She was sobbing frantically, hiccups not stopping as she kept rocking herself, curling like a ball in the threshold. And then a calloused appeared in front of her face and as soon as her eyes landed on the person's face, her face had lost it colors, shock evident.

(PS: There's one reason why I am not writing about what all Varun did with Tanvi or what is going to happen with her after this. First and foremost, this story highlights Atharva and Ayla only. Also see, everyone deserves an ending whether it's sad, happy or just satisfactory. So, that's why I am thinking to write a short story based on Tanvi too. Tell me your opinion regarding it. Though I know none of you likes her.)

//////////

The captivating night was catching all the evil, shining prosperity with the stars shining up in the sky, as she glanced at the beautiful sight.

This was something that bought peace inside of hers, away from all the drama that had been happening in her life.

No one dared to talk after the confrontation. Everyone knew what was the decision. Tanvi was no longer someone to be considered their own.

In the mafia world, betrayal meant death, yet they let her go without any such punishment that she deserved. It was enough. This leniency was enough.

She was alone, sitting in the garden behind their mansion since 5 hours. It was currently 1 in the midnight and Atharva still hadn't returned from where he had stormed off to, just telling one thing to Ayla. Don't wait for me baby. Today it will take extra time.

And all of a sudden she felt a rough arm sliding up her bare shoulders that instantly made her lean towards him as his natural scent too reached up her nostrils.

Her gaze went to his face. He was visibly tired yet there was the anger evident, one that could make people go weak due to its intensity. His hair was lightly dampened and she realized he had showered in his work building before coming home.

"I love you." She whispered grazing his cheeks softly with the pad of her thumb and forgetting all about the tension, worry, anger and rage, a smile had reached up his face as he pulled her small self towards him, nuzzling his face in her neck as his nose traced random patterns.

"I love you too, baby. My queen, the strongest woman I know." He murmured in between making a giggle escape her lips.

His way with his words...

The fact that they had each other at every step was above everything. Betrayals happen. Trusts are broken. Expectations are crashed down in a world like this. But Atharva and Ayla were someone who focused more on the positive aspects in their life than the negative ones.

And their love. It was so strong that it could pass any test, any situation, any problem, getting only more stronger day by day. They were clearly unbreakable.

○How was the chapter?

Any suggestions about which I should write a story? I am open to those this time ;)

○Okay, I know many of you must be thinking that this punishment wasn't enough for Tanvi and all, but Varun and Leela clearly deserve death for their sick mentality in the 'Mafia World'. Now about Tanvi, you know why I didn't write the whole situation and what is going to happen with her since this story was more of a focus on Atharva and Ayla. I might write a short story on her as well. What do you guys think anyways?

○Epilogue is still left, but an opinion of yours for the story would be?

Love,
Myra❤
