❁
She let out a giggle as he tickled her mercilessly with him pinning her down on their bed.
"You're such a cheater." He groaned kissing the nape of her neck and went back to tickle her.
"Nonsense. When did I cheat?" She laughed.
"You cheated when you tried to seduce me while I was having my chance to beat you in that goddamn videogame. You little tease." He groaned as she circled her arms around his neck pulling his face closer to hers, tickling all forgotten.
"What can I do then? My husband isn't ready for action." She pouted towards him.
"You were literally not able to walk in the morning. I had to lift you everytime." He pointed out with a stern look.
"Whose fault is it then?" She glared at him playfully.
"Yours. Why did you have to be so insatiable?" He smirked, inching closer to her lips.
And the very next moment their lips met in a toe curling kiss. His tongue swiped across her bottom plump lip as his tongue entered her mouth, gaining over the dominance. They were exploring each other's mouth as if this was the last time they would get the chance to.
His hands were roaming on her figure without any resistance, quite familiar with the softness and fragile nature. One touch of his would create wonders for her.
"Baby, it's time." He murmured against her lips and she pouted.
He got up from the bed where he had her pinned down and pulled her by giving his hand which she gladly took.
"I'll try my best to come early. Don't wait for me till late in the night like you did yesterday. You need the sleep." Atharva said sternly, kissing the top of her head as she was clinging to him like a baby.
"Okay." She nodded like a child, her hair dancing in every direction.
More than a month had passed since Tanvi's marriage and Ayla enjoying her married life with Atharva in every sense. It would be an understatement to say that her life had been blissful. She didn't regret for a single time about this decision because Atharva was the perfect husband.
And yet there was one thought nagging her mind. That was of her bestfriend Tanvi. If being honest, she didn't know if she could still call Tanvi her bestfriend seeing that she hadn't tried to talk to Ayla considering how many times Ayla has made an advancement.
Where she would wait for Tanvi to ask anyone to pass the phone to Ayla whenever she would call Vinita, Tarun or anyone else, that never happened.
Was she this much hurt? That she even decided to forget or ignore her bestfriend straight for a month...
Ayla didn't have any other choice to hide the fact about her marriage with Tanvi. There were some clear instructions given by Atharva to her which she had to comply to him, bo matter what.
"And remember Ayla. Be careful. You're alone in the whole house today. This mansion might be surrounded by my guards, but you won't be leaving the house today or go anywhere alone." He declared, wrapping his arm around her waits from behind and pulling her even closer such that his chest and her back was now completely crushing to each other.
She could feel his hard abs through the flimsy piece of cloth she was wearing because of being in their room for now.
"But I was planning to go to the mall." She voiced out, her mouth forming into a small pout.
"Wait for somedays baby. As soon as everything settles down, I will take you myself." He responded, smothering her cheeks with the pad of his thumb.
This action of his only made her lean some more towards him.
These days Atharva had been a lot more busy than the usual. It was because of the silent war going on between the different Mafias in the underworld. There was some old rivalry that had been taken up all of a sudden and all were busy finding the rat amongst them.
"Bye baby. Miss me." He husked out, rubbing the back of her palm with his thumb.
"I do that everytime you're away." She mumbled innocently looking at his retreating figure who walked towards the end of the corridor on second floor, now taking the staircase to go down such that he was no more in her sight.
And it didn't take her more than that to start missing him.
//////////
Sitting on the lounge in the mansion, she was reading a fashion magazine to pass her time. It was only 12 in the noon and she bad already gotten bore with cooking and binge watching series.
And then all of a sudden, a voice reached up ears making her jerk at her place.
"Ayla..."
It was Tanvi.
Dressed in a crop top and pair of jeans, she looked almost unrecognizable. A pair of expensive shades were rested on her eyes that she removed, only to tuck in her hair.
She was giving Ayla a smile. Though that smile clearly didn't look like she was used to before. It was dripping with fakeness, but Ayla being Ayla ignored that smoothly and smiled back. A genuine one.
She happily got up from the couch she was sitting on and moved towards her, but stopped herself as soon as realized what had happened the previous time when she hugged him.
"Won't you hug me?" Tanvi asked, looking at her expectantly.
"I- I of course." Ayla stammered and reciprocated the hug as this time it was Tanvi who made the move.
"You know why I have come here today?" Tanvi asked, taking a seat on the couch, adjacent to hers.
"No." Ayla smiled a little shaking her head.
"How are-"
"We should go for some shopping. What's say?" Tanvi cutted Ayla off.
"Shopping? I don't think-"
"Oh, come on Ayla. Don't you want to come for shopping with me for your little niece or nephew?" Tanvi asked, faking a chuckle as she hit Ayla lightly on the shoulder.
"N-iece or nephew?" Ayla stuttered looking at Tanvi confused as ever.
"Well you know, I am pregnant. And it's never too early to shop." Tanvi smiled patting her stomach.
A frown formed on Ayla's forehead as she took in Tanvi's words. It had only been a month since her wedding and she was pregnant this soon? Maybe it was because of Varun who wanted a child as soon as possible as he was already 31 while she was just 21. Ayla was skeptical would be an understatement.
But since Tanvi was her bestfriend and there was no way she would lie to her, Ayla believed it and gave her the biggest of smile.
"Congratulations Tanvi! I am so happy for you." Ayla grinned embracing Tanvi in a hug.
She noticed Tanvi's lips quivering but she also noticed how she controlled herself and nodded.
Something was clearly wrong but she couldn't point anything out.
"So, shall we go now?" She asked forcing a smile.
"I am sorry Tanvi but Atharva won't allow. I am not supposed to go anywhere." Ayla responded, a light hue appearing on her chubby cheeks.
"Bhai won't allow?" Tanvi gritted.
"Y-Yes. Give me some days. We will surely go out together." Ayla said with an apologetic smile.
"Just ask him once na. Atleast give it a try." Tanvi grumbled.
"No-"
"Just one time. For me. Please?" Tanvi made a pout trying her best to make Ayla agree.
It wasn't like Ayla didn't want to go with Tanvi. She was happy that finally she'll be able to get the old Tanvi back, her bestfriend who is interested in spending some time with her.
Her only concern was Atharva as he'd clearly told her not to go out anywhere. There must be a big reason behind why he was saying this and she didn't want to be a nuisance for him and his work.
"Okay." She whispered defeatedly.
Taking the mobile in her hands that was carelessly laying on the side, she dialled his number and put it on her ear.
"Ayla? Baby, is everything fine? Why have you called me at this time-"
He began rambling making a deep blush appear her cheeks. His protectiveness was something to die for.
"Atharva- I- wanted to ask you about something." She mumbled and Tanvi gave her an encouraging nod.
She almost looked impatient with her body language. Ayla just smiled back assuringly.
"Go on."
Atharva hummed from the other.
"Actually- Tanvi has come. She wants to take me out for shopping." She responded, crossing her fingers only with the hope that he would agree.
"Baby, today morning itself I told you about-"
He began his reasoning when she cut him off.
"Pretty please? I promise I will return as soon as possible. And this will surely be the last time." She pouted, trying her best to convince him.
"Okay. But I will be sending guards with you."
He sighed from the other end.
He too knew how bored she must've gotten all alone in the house and how she desperately wanted to shop. Maybe today was the day that she'll be able to.
"Guards?"
And as soon as these words came out of Ayla's mouth, Tanvi snatched the phone from Ayla's hands and began talking to her elder brother.
"Bhai, what's the need of guards? V-Varun has already sent some bodyguards for me and I am sure those will be enough for Ayla and Me." Tanvi reasoned.
"Fine. But her personal bodyguard will still go. I won't let that slide at any cost. Now give the phone back to Ayla."
Atharva responded knowing how these two always get their things done easily, no matter what the situation is.
"Okay." Tanvi gritted out with difficulty.
Personal bodyguard. At this she could only roll her eyes.
"Ayla, please take care and remember what all I had told you. You know how dangerous it is and that's why I am sending a personal bodyguard. Just don't go anywhere without him and you'll be completely fine."
He said, trying his best to make the innocent woman understand about the situation for him and his family these days.
"Okay." She nodded, agreeing to him.
"Bye baby. I love you and please take care."
He murmured from the other end.
"I love you too." She said lowly just so Tanvi couldn't her but unknown to her, she actually had and now let out a fake smile.
And soon they had departed their ways to the farthest mall where Tanvi specially wanted to shop this time.
//////////
"How about this one?" Ayla asked pointing towards a cute little pajama set.
There, Tanvi was busy typing furiously on her phone making Ayla frown.
Wasn't she the one saying she's too excited to shop for her child?
"Huh?...yeah yeah..." Tanvi nodded without even glancing up from her phone.
"Look Tanvi, I might be a housewife but I am not free to waste my time like this. I decided to come much to your persistence and it'll be better if you show some interest as well. Otherwise I guess it's atleast time for me to go home." Ayla said in a firm voice, showing her palm to Tanvi who hesitantly nodded.
The instant change of Ayla's tone was hard for Tanvi to ignore. From the innocent and soft spoken Ayla, she had turned into a bold woman who this time won't hesitate to voice out her thoughts.
"I am sorry A-Ayla. V-Varun was just asking me about my health. He's being really worried these days because of my pregnancy." Tanvi let out a small chuckle and Ayla nodded her head back hesitantly.
She couldn't help but to act paranoid at everything happening. A day ago Tanvi wasn't interested in talking to her and now she has taken her for some shopping.
Maybe she's just thinking too much? Tanvi must've realized her mistake.
"Tanvi! Hey!" A high pitched voice made them snap their heads towards the source.
There Leela Khanna was standing with a fakest of smile as she walked, now coming near them.
"This bitch is here as well?" Leela laughed giving Ayla a mocking look.
"This bitch has every right to be here. Atleast I have a title but my God, look at you. Zero self respect. Pleading my husband to marry you, knowing he already has a wife whom he loves. So pathetic just like you Leela. I guess, pathetic should be your title, shouldn't it? What's say Tanvi?" Ayla glared at Leela, now turning towards Tanvi.
"Y-Yeah of- course. Anyways, g-guys why don't we stop fighting and you both help me out by doing some shopping for your niece or nephew?" Tanvi tried to calm the situation.
"How dare you?" Leela screamed and it felt to Ayla that her ears must be about to bleed.
"I can do and say as I please! It'll be better if I don't hear something more from your mouth regarding me. Otherwise I won't hesitate to show you your place." Ayla gave one last glare to Leela and stormed off the area that woman was standing in.
She was walking with a frown and a slow pace as she searched for her bodyguard. This was enough. She was done for the day and all she wanted to do now was get back to home and bury herself in Atharva's arms that would make her feel protected.
Her bodyguard was till now standing at 10 ft distance from the time she had come here. But now he was nowhere in sight. She didn't even has her number nor she tried to get by seeing his hulk like form.
A hand all of a sudden grasped her wrist in a tight grip.
A yelp came out of her mouth as she turned towards the intruder and there a man was standing with a dangerous look on his face, his built too big for a petite and short girl luke Ayla.
"Leave my hand." She calmly tried to free her wrist.
"What made you think I will?" The man mockingly asked.
"This will." Kneeing him in his leg, she in a flash freed herself from his grasp and ran back towards the showroom in which they were previously shopping.
But she couldn't reach.
Her hair were taken in a painful grip making a cry come out of her mouth.
It felt as if they would come out of its roots. The pain was almost unbearable.
The most shocking part was by now there was no one else on the floor they were shopping in. It felt completely empty. Even some shops were closed.
Tears were running down her face as one jerked her back with the support of her hair and she directly fell in the opposite direction.
The corner of the glass piece for railing support almost got inside her head due to the pressure. A loud shout came out of her mouth due to the pain and het nobody came to help her.
Where is Tanvi when she needs her help? Is she busy gossiping with Leela like usual?
"Don't do this." She cried in pain as she was dragged by her foot from some other people, blood trickling down on the floor.
It was getting difficult for Ayla to open her eyes each passing second. The pain has now become unbearable.
They were thrashing her like she was some rag doll.
Her whimpers, shouts, screams, cried were heard by no one. Was it on purpose? Were they being this oblivious to what was going on?
And what about Tanvi? If she doesn't consider Ayla as her bestfriend anymore, she could have atleast come forward to help her.
Someone forcefully made her stand, gripping her throat that minimized the passage for her breathing.
She broke in a fit of coughs, almost passing out due to the force yet she didn't give up and used every bit of her strength to push the man that was holding her.
And without any thought, she ran to the opposite direction of them.
A smile of relief formed on her face as she saw Tanvi and Leela standing in front of her at a good 6 ft distance. She now had hope.
"Tanvi! T-They are trying to abduct me. W-Where are your bodyguards? They'll k-kill-"
She tried to get in the embrace of Tanvi when she was again mercilessly pushed by Tanvi.
This time she didn't cry in pain.
As soon as she saw that smirk on Tanvi's face and mocking smile on Leela's face who was standing beside her ex-bestfriend, she understood every single thing.
No one can be trusted in this world.
Not even your bestfriend.
"You have succeeded in the one thing you wanted Tanvi and Leela. To break me." Was the last thing she said before her eyes shut off, her body this time betraying her.
And she was mercilessly dragged by the bodyguards of them while Tanvi and Leela gave these disgusting smirks to her lifeless figure that looked so pale, body loss of blood as it passed the bodyguard that was stabbed way earlier, all as per their plan.

"Bhai."
Sniffle
"Bhai!"
Sniffle
Sniffle
She bursted the door open to his office and Atharva stood up from his chair, seeing his sister with a frown on his forehead as he noticed her condition.
"Bhai! Ayla has been taken away. S-She was stabbed by a men and all of them took her away while keeping me at gun point!"
And this was all that took Atharva's posture to change, eyes turning red at what he just heard, fist and jew clenched. He was looking scary would be an understatement that even Tanvi has to take two steps away from him.
"How the fuck this happened!?" He roared and Tanvi bursted into a pool of tears.
Drama would definitely work right now, she thought.
******
○How was the chapter?
○Tanvi is such a snitch! Ayla being the kind girl she tried to forgive and accept everything but look what she did. Hasn't she crossed every limit this time? And now this drama in front of Atharva. Let's see what'll happen ahead.
Love,
Myra
