Flashback:
Nervousness was something prominent inside of hers since a couple of days for Yahvi. Today was her first day in an Engineering college and she was constantly panicking about the ragging which this college is widely known for.
Her new made friend, Akanksha had calmed her down multiple of times saying how she won't particular be taken up for ragging by the seniors.
She'd arrived at the college campus two days ago for settling down in the girl's hostel and that's when she'd met Akanksha as she was her new roommate.
The two had immediately bonded over their interests and behaviour.
Akanksha knew a lot of things about this college. The reason being that her cousin, Hardik, one year elder than her who didn't took her less than a real sister was also a part of this college. He'd already given a lesson to Akanksha for her safety which she gladly passed onto Yahvi past these two days.
They now knew that Akanksha's cousin, Hardik was a part of the college's most popular gang. But they were also relieved about the fact that the ragging and teasing won't happen with them as they knew Hardik won't let anything happen to them as she now had a brotherly bond with him as well.
But still she had her own beliefs and worries.
Walking inside the gate of college, she had clutched onto Akanksha's hand while she constantly made fun of the same yet let Yahvi to do so.
Hardik had joined both of them as soon as he saw them entering this prestigious college. He looked like a perfect college guy in a white tshirt stretching on his broad chest that was paired with a pair of blue denim jeans and sneakers.
While they were walking towards the direction of college's office to take their schedules, Hardik's arms were wrapped around both of the girl's shoulders. The other students gaze was settled on the two new faces with Hardik, girls because they were jealous and envious of Akanksha and Yahvi while the boys were giving smirks to them which they skillfully ignored.
"Hey Hardik!" A voice shouted which was followed by hoots and laughter.
The three of them snapped their heards towards the direction and noticed it was a group of college students only.
They seem to be making fun of Hardik.
What shocked Yahvi the most was that instead of showing anger or fear, Hardik had a broad smile on his face as he lead the two girls towards the group.
And as soon as they reached, Hardik's hands left their shoulders for the first time since they'd entered this college, only to greet everyone present there with what seemed like their signature handshake.
And this only concluded one fact that they were his friends. Or maybe his best of friends. The closest ones.
"Won't you introduce us to your new girlfriends Hardik?" A lanky boy, with brown messy hair and dark brown eyes questioned, chuckling a little that made the other 4 laugh as well.
"Guys-"
And before Hardik could continue, a third voice stopped him in between.
"Shut up Dev! One of them must be his cousin he was telling us about." It was a short girl wearing a cute summer dress as she wrapped her arms around the lanky boy whose name she learned was Dev.
This only meant one thing that either they were in a relationship or they were some pair of really close friends.
"Aditi is right guys. This is Akanksha, my loveliest yet the craziest cousin. And this is Yahvi, Akanksha's bestfriend who has become my good friend in these days as well." Hardik told the others while pointing to Akanksha and Yahvi simultaneously.
And seconds after it, pleasantries among them were exchanged and for once Yahvi felt light. These people were unexpectedly good. She didn't have to take up more tension because of this.
"Where is Rishabh guys?" Hardik questioned and Yahvi frowned at the new name she just heard.
"It's Hardik's bestfriend. He's somewhat the leader of this group." Akanksha in between whispered in Yahvi's ears.
"Leader? What are they? In 5th standard?" Yahvi asked, letting out a small laugh.
"Not in that means Yahvi. He's like the backbone of the group and everyone listens to him no matter what." Akanksha replied, while slapping the back of Yahvi's head.
"Ouch you weirdo! I will beat you, wait!" She whined, rubbing the spot where Akanksha had hit her.
Forgetting about the fact that this was their first day in the college or that they had to maintain a good student reputation, Akanksha began to run in a random direction while shouting and laughing like a hyena and as Yahvi began to follow her to catch, she had crashed onto someone's hard chest that made the impact of her falling down.
"Well well well, I didn't know it really is true when people say girls fall on their kness as soon as they see me." A deep, rough and manly voice reached up to Yahvi's ears as she was rubbing her elbow with the biggest of frown.
With the weirdest of look, she lifted her head up to look at the person who as per her thinking was at fault and as soon as her eyes landed on the amazing piece of art standing in his full glory, they turned wide as this was basically the first time she was seeing such a handsome man in real life. Well, the fact she sees on Instagram or Google is a lot different than this.
Dressed in a black hoodie and black tight jeans with a pair of Nike Air forces, he looked a sight to behold for her. Unlike every other male student, he looked the hottest in the simplest of clothes.
His black hair were toppled messily on his head, some strands falling on his forehead which she badly wanted to push away to have a clear look at his common yet beautiful brown eyes. The lopsided grin he had on his face was way more hear fluttering than the smirk she has seen boys carry around.
His strong manly scent was still lingering around her air and it was hard for her not to take a sniff at this.
Damn, what has happened to her?
Where is the innocent Yahvi gone?
"Darling, that's enough. I know I am handsome, but that doesn't mean you'll carry on boring holes at me the whole day." His mocking voice snapped Yahvi out of her dirty thoughts.
"I wasn't looking at you." She murmured, her cheeks burning with embarrassment.
"Well that's what everyone says." He commented making her roll her eyes.
As he forwarded his hands for her to take a support onto, she thought for a minute every repercussion but nonetheless took it and he lifted her up, barely with any problem.
"Hey man! No teasing with these two." Hardik's voice broke their trance when both of them were busy gazing into each other's eyes.
How the fuck his common as hell brown eyes are looking so captivating to her?
"Why buddy? You're having two girlfriends this time instead of one?" While saying this, the handsome guy according to Yahvi did a bro handshake with Hardik.
"You prick! One is my cousin and the other is her bestfriend who is no less than my sister." He slapped the back of his head just like Akanksha did with Yahvi.
The only thought that crossed her mind was, 'The cousin duo is just the same in every aspect.'
"Aha! Which one-"
"Yahvi! Look at your hand. It's bleeding." Akanksha's voice cut him off.
"Uhh- it's nothing. It's just a scratch." Yahvi waved it off.
"But you need to apply some antiseptic there. It'll disinfect." Akanksha reasoned.
"But-"
"I'll help her." A rough voice cut Yahvi in between.
Yahvi's cheek flushed pink as soon as she noticed his strong gaze towards her.
For God's sake she didn't even know his name and look at her behaviour towards him!
"Are you sure?" Akanksha asked.
"Never been this sure. She's my responsibility after all." He responded, voice turning firm.
"Huh?" Hardik asked with a weird expression at his friend's words.
"I-I mean it was my fault that she got hurt. So obviously it's my responsibility to cure that as well." The guy responded, scratching the back of his head making him look even hotter and rugged.
"Shall we, princess?" He asked Yahvi, taking his hand out for her.
Yahvi looked at Akanksha for help who in return gave her an encouraging nod and gaining a lot of courage, she placed her hand on top of his and could only roll her eyes at the difference between the sizes.
She's not small. In fact, he's too big. Was what she thought and got happy about.
And the fact she still didn't get to know his name was wierd, wasn't it, now that this was the beginning of them spending most of their time together.

"Yahvi..."
"Yahvi."
"Yahvi!"
"What?" She whined, burying herself more under the covers on the plush bed.
"I can't find my white tshirt." Came his rough and morning voice.
"I wasn't the one who packed your luggage. It was you." She groaned, now sitting upright on the bed while detangling her hair from the nest of it she always has after sleeping.
"But I was wearing it last night. And after that we had sex-"
"Shut up will you. Don't you find it embarrassing to say?" She stopped him from commenting any further about their last night's doings.
"Remove that." He pointed to the quilt she was covering herself with.
Yahvi gave him a bewildered look.
"Remove." He said sternly.
With a big pout, she removed the blanket off her body that only revealed her wearing his white tshirt, completely bare underneath making her hard pebbles visible.
"Ahem...Ahem..." He let out a couple of coughs.
And instantly, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment and she folded her arms above her chest.
"Nothing I haven't seen." He said simply, still without any emotion which only made her embarrassment increase.
She really misses the old him.
"I am sorry. I will just change-"
And before she could say any further, his voice stopped her in between.
"Don't." His tone was a firm one. One that sent shivers down her spine. He had a lot of affect on her.
This being the last day of their 7 day honeymoon, she could see he was trying to pack but was failing miserably. She even remembered the night of their wedding when his parents had dropped the news of the honeymoon gift for them and how he had tossed his clothes in the suitcase when they were told to pack. She was barely controlling her hands to undo the messiness he had created.
"Let me do it." She said in a low voice, gesturing to his suitcase.
"Why? Now you too want to show how I don't have any control over anything?" Came his voice full of anger.
"Rish, whatever happened with you was inevitable and instead of showing how you don't have control over yourself, the only thing it reflected was how strong you are. So next time before saying anything like this, please think." Came Yahvi's response, firm as ever.
As he began walking towards her sitting form on the bed, she lowered her head down, scared of his next words towards her. But to her dismay, he hand gently pulled her figure towards the end of the bed where he was standing in just a pair of sweatpants and messy bed hair, now nuzzling his face in her neck.
"Why are you like this?" Came his muffled voice.
"I will tell you once you will tell me why you behave like this." She simply said.
"You know why." He responded, sucking on her sweet spot which made her moan.
She's never afraid to show the affect he has on her.
"You are mine, beautiful. Only mine." He said in a possessive manner, circling his arms around her in a way she couldn't get out of his. Even if she wanted, she would never get out.
"From the beginning Rish. From the very beginning." She murmured, pecking his rough stubbled cheek.
"I love you." She continued looking at him with love filled eyes. It could only be a fool who wouldn't see the amount of love she had for him.
He just hummed in response, yet his eyes shining with the longing he had. For her. For them. And no one could hide this fact as well.

Sitting on the armchair while fiddling with her fingers down her lap, she could hear the water running inside the bathroom of his room in the 3BHK modern flat in Hyderabad.
It was after a couple of hours that they'd returned from the airport after their flight from Maldives. He had simply asked her to join him in the shower which she'd tried to skillfully let go by saying how she'll join him after arranging their clothes in the walk-in closet.
No matter this room had nothing as per her liking, she had fallen in love with it at first sight. It was bland, but sometimes it's good to keep your life simple.
His clothes seemed so unlike the ones which she had seen him wearing in the college days. The ever naughty, mischievous and rugged boy was missing that was replaced with a highly mature one who preferred plain shirts and tshirts over the hoodies.
She missed his hoodies badly. Specially the black one.
She was familiar with the flat because of many reasons and visits. But she wasn't familiar with it being hers as she was now the lady of the house. Their house.
"So, you lied." Came a voice that made her jolt on the seat she was sitting on.
There, right before the door to the bathroom was standing her husband, Rishabh Khurana, only in a pair of shorts and a towel hanging around his neck that he threw on the bed making Yahvi sigh internally, knowing how she needed to remove that soon because of his habit.i
"W-What do you mean?" She asked with a cute, little frown etched on her forehead.
"Joining me in the shower wouldn't have costed you a lot, would it Yahvi?" He said as he began taking out a tshirt from the closet she just arranged their clothes in.
"I don't know." She whispered, not getting how to come out of a situation like this.
"What's for dinner?" He asked in a casual voice as if it had been a long time since they married and it was any other usual day for them.
"I don't know." She repeated.
"What do you really know Yahvi?" He asked, sighing a little.
"That I love you?" She said or more like questioned.
A throaty chuckle left his mouth as he wore the tshirt, making her go all red in embarrassment, flustered at what she just spoke.
"This surely gets better." She heard him mutter under his breath, him thinking that she wasn't able to hear it which in reality she clearly heard.
Taking her hand in his, he lead them outside the bedroom, to the small and cozy living room that she connected to as soon as she saw it as her own.

Flashback:
"Get out of my class you three!" The professor shouted making Yahvi, Akanksha and Nitin sigh.
The professor has heard them talking from the past half n hour. Skillfully ignoring this throughout the lecture, now she'd had enough and decided to throw them out.
The three, Yahvi, Akanksha and Nitin were in a way happy about it that they won't have to go through this boring as heck lecture that was for 2 hours straight.
In this past month of their college life, Yahvi had made a lot of friends but Akanksha and Nitin had a special place and Hardik too as he didn't forget to show his brotherly side over her.
Hardik's group was good to them as they would usually meet throughout the day many times. But the one problem for Yahvi was the boy named Rishabh Khurana who had made her fall on the very first day. He was just insane in the best of ways and weird too.
He would keep giving her glances whenever Akanksha and her would be present with the group. His eyes would make her feel self conscious. Weird right? But she would still want him to look only at her instead of all the other pretty girls in their colleges. The worst fact was the amount of proposals he used to get from different girls whenever they would be sitting. She would just want to rip off their hair.
Does that means she has a crush on him?
Maybe she does...
"Let's just bunk guys." Akanksha announced as they were walking through the corridors of the college.
"We are already thrown out Akanksha. What else do you want?" Yahvi sighed, swinging her backpack over her shoulders.
"I want to go the new cafe that has opened in this area." Akanksha whined.
"I don't." Yahvi responded, cringing about the fact if walking some more on the day aunt flo has visited.
"Nitin, what do you think? Will you go to the cafe with me or sit in a corner with Yahvi just as she likes?" Akanksha asked, turning towards Nitin to see in whose team he would be.
"Uhh- cafe?" Nitin said, giving Yahvi an apologetic look.
"It's fine. I understand. I will just wait for you guys to come back." Yahvi said waving off her hand.
Walking in the corridor at the lowest of speed, she was lost in her own world. Her black locks were flowing in every direction due to the winds causing her to smile in glee.
"What's up princess?" A husky voice snapped her out of her thoughts.
A hand grabbed her wrist in a tight grip, twirling her around and soon it made an impact of her crashing onto a hard chest. But this time she didn't fall. Instead, this time someone was holding her tightly, their chests crushing each other's, making her feel the manly cologne which she remembered it as his'.
"Rish-abh?" She whispered, without opening her eyes.
"The only one princess." Came his teasing voice.
"Leave me." She said, squirming in his arms.
"I will once you'll open your eyes." He announced.
Opening her eyes slowly, her dark brown orbs met his same colored ones that were busy intently gazing at her. Shit, why did he have to be this handsome?
And why did her crush had to be this good with her?
"I did. Now please leave me." She said in a low voice.
"Why? Am I making you feel uncomfortable?" He asked skeptically, still not leaving her wrist that were in his grip.
"What, no." She responded in an instant, regretting about the fact he took her words in a wrong way.
"Then there's no need." He declared.
Letting out an almost inaudible sigh, she stopped her squirming process and tried to get comfortable in his proximity. It was really hard for her since he would make her feel these weird sensations. Guess, it was true when people would say that it's the best feeling ever when your crush gives you attention.
"Now tell me what you are doing in the corridor in the middle of your lecture." His voice turned stern in an instant making Yahvi frown about the thought of him knowing her schedule.
"I- I-"
Why the hell was she stuttering?
"Don't even try to lie." Came his warning.
"The professor kicked us out." She responded in a low voice.
"By us you mean Akanksha and you?" He asked raising his eyebrows.
"And Nitin too." She corrected.
"How many times have Hardik told you both not to get too comfortable with that guys Nitin. He's bad news and that's why I don't want him to be anywhere near you." He gritted out as if he was almost controlling his anger.
"You don't want?" She repeated as if it was the only thing she catched from his sentence.
"I- I mean Hardik doesn't." He stuttered, scratching the back of his neck.
"Leave that. Anyways, I don't want this to happen again. This is a top Engineering college Yahvi. You don't get to fool around here. Study and make a career for yourself. Nothing else." He said being the mature one.
Yahvi admired him for a moment. A mischievous guy like him was giving such a piece of advice to her and she felt embarrassed in a way since whatever he was saying made complete sense and what she did was not good. She really needed to study well and achieve her goals.
"I am sorry." She whispered.
"You don't need to say sorry to me princess. How about we make a trip to the canteen?" He winked at her, making Yahvi smile that the old Rishabh Khurana was back.
"I would love that."
Draping his big arm over her petite shoulder, he lead her towards the area of canteen, whistling a song which Yahvi recognized it to be a 90s one.
Damn! This guy is just goals.
Flashback over.
