I slam down on my alarm clock. 5:00. Fucking school. I sit up in my bed and turn on my bedside lamp. I look around my room. The dull grey walls filled with posters on magic and a few of my favourite bands. I get out of bed and walk over to my Closet. I've been in here for a while- it's not like my Gran would... you know... like the fact that I'm, Bi. She hated it when I told her I was trans... She didn't try to change my mind. Its not like she could anyway. Never mind that. I grab my uniform out of my closet. It was grey and purple. I wore a green tie to match my form class , Basilisks. A basilisk is a huge snake, thought to freeze one simply by looking at it. Terrifying I know. However, they went extinct in the early 18th century. That was 7 centuries ago. Were in 25th century now. The exact year is 2422. Ah, I'm rambling again. Apologies... After putting my uniform on I head down stairs. "Morning grans." I murmur
"morning..." she says half asleep. I grab some toast and my phone. The time now is 5:30, I need to get my train at 6 so I grab a hair brush and begin to brush through my hair. I also grab some small hair ties and tie the top layer into braids and into a pony tail. After adding a small flower clip, I grab my school bag and head off to the train station.

My train was 2 minutes late. Annoying. I take a seat next to a window. *CHOO CHOO* the loud blowing of the trains fumble used to scare the shit out of me. Now however, I've gotten used to it. I watch as the world speeds past. Through meadows upon meadows, lakes after lakes and towns after towns. We eventually stop. There are 2 stops on this train, it's strictly a student's train for students of Crystal cliffs Academy. With all the people coming on, many would think it would be hard to remember who everyone is. However, I know a new face when I see one. Well in this case three new faces. The trio where tow gingers one male and one female and a brunette-haired male. The male ginger was short, having a mix of human and goblin features, I assume that was part of his quirk, he had goblin ears with patches of green and human flesh across his face. He looked really cool. The ginger girl wore a sun head band and a long wavey pink dress with a brown statical with a purple crystal pin on the strap. The brunette was shorter than the girl yet taller than the other man. He wore clothes that looked like they came straight out of the medieval time period, however he has a soft and welcoming smile. It was rather pleasing how he was in the middle. They look over to me and walk over. "Are these seats taken?" the male ginger asks.
"n...no" I stutter, talking to new people isn't my strongest ability...
"Alright!" the man cheers "any way, I'm Fwhip" He sits on the aisle seat.
"Greeting, I am Gemini. However, you can call me Gem" She says sitting directly in front of me.
"And I'm Mythical J. Sausage!" The final cries sitting between the two " Call me sausage though!" The smile on his face only grew.
"I... I'm Shelby" I say "Nice to meet you three" I smile at them
"Nice to meet you too Shelby" Gem say.
"Shooooooo, what are you studying at Crystal Cliffs?" Fwhip asks.
"Oh, witchcraft." I say pulling out my book on witchcraft "What about you three?"
"I'm studding the biology of animals and quirks" Sausage says "well, mostly because my quirk is that I can talk to animals" sausage says
"I'm just studying science and engineering nothing special" Fwhip says fiddling with something.
"Oh, and um, I'm studying wizardry" Gem smiles
"That's all so cool!!" I say excitement in my words "another question, what's your quirks? Mines that I can grow mushrooms whenever."
"Oh, you already know mine, but yours sounds so cool!! And tasty!" Sausage says. I laugh at his joke.
"Mines that I'm part goblin it's probably obvious heh" Fwhip says
"Mines just I can use light to my advantage. For example, blinding someone with the sun." Gem says moving some of her hair out of her eyes.
"There all so cool!" I smile. We sit and talk about things such as school for a while then Fwhip asks me this question "Hey um, Shelby, what's your opions on vigilantes?"
"well... personally, I don't see anything wrong with them, what they do is done in defence and not too harm the innocent" I say.
"alright, anyway..." fwhip says looking over at gem " Can we add her to the group chat?" he asks
"I'm fine with that. Sausage what about you?" gem says
"That sounds great, the more the merrier." he says humming a little tune.
"Cool, Shelby can you scan this link?" Fwhip asks "it just adds you to the Log"
"Alright" I say scanning the link.

I giggle at the name. "please... ignore that..." gem says her face blushing with embarrassment.

We arrive at crystal cliffs. I say good bye to my new found friends and head to form.
"Good day children" our form teacher begins " Welcome to your second year at Crystal Cliffs Academy. Over the holidays the headmaster decided to have you all sorted into dorms due to the rise in witch and wizard related hate crimes" The dullness of this man's voice was annoying... "You'll be given your keys within the next hour or so" as he finishes his sentence the bell goes telling us about its time for first period. I have Witchography. Ughhhhhhh this year will either be amazing... or shit.
