"And what's that book then?" Cyan said, terrified.

"This is Brown's diary," Black said. "He also went to this organization like us and also went to perform tasks, but at that time, they figured out that there was an imposter among us. He eventually got killed by one of the imposters, but his diary remains. That was one of the proof that there was an imposter."

"BUT HOW DIDN'T THIS ORGANIZATION SHUTDOWN?!" White yelled.

"Oh, they did shut down," Black said. After that incident, the organization was sued and shut down, But only for twenty years, Because we needed a space program. Hence, the government decided to do it again, and space missions after that became safe. There were no imposters and evil people that were about to snap your necks; it became so secure that everybody forgot about the imposter incident that happened along time ago."

"So, that's why!" Yellow said.

"And so this was the only evidence that there was an imposter?" Blue said.

"No, there's one more," Black replied.

"W-who?" "Me"

"WHAT? You were on that space trip too?!" I said in shock.

I was very young at that time," Black said. And actually, I was a mini crewmate, like White has."

Black pointed to Whites mini-crewmate.

"Wait, so your saying—"

"Yes, my dad got killed in that imposter incident twenty years ago," Black said glumly.

We all gasped. "But, if the imposters murdered everybody there, how did you escape the Skeld?"
"I got on an emergency space pod," Black replied. But at that time, I was way too young to drive one, so I ended up splashing into the ocean, but I got rescued"

"So, your dad and Brown were friends?"
"Yeah, but they got double killed in electrical, I could still remember the time," Black said. Tears suddenly filled his eyes.

I felt terrible for him. How could such a human being kill his family member? My dad was still alive. Black didn't deserve this.

"But, there's one question, who would kill such people, and why?" Pink said.

"The imposters not a person," Black said. He was now back to his old cold self. "It's an alien"

"He's a what?!" We all said simultaneously.

"" Yes, it's more of a parasite that can shapeshift into anything they want to, so there's an alien-parasitic-shapeshifter among us who wants to murder everybody."

"T-his, c-can't be happening!" Cyan shouted. He suddenly took out his tablet.

"What are you doing?" I said.

"Were calling the captain, duh! What are we going to do here when there's an imposter? Have a party?"

Yellow's words did make sense. It was no time to party. We needed to survive. Orange was dead. It was only a matter of time before somebody killed somebody else, or worse, myself.

Yellow dialed the captain's number, and then the Captain answered. Yellow told Captain about what was happening, and Captain was stunned to hear this. It was good news that he heard about this, but there was one problem: He thought we were joking.

"What do you mean there's an imposter among you guys?" Captain said, chuckling. "You guys do have wild imaginations in space. I'm pretty sure you will be ok."

"But it's true! There's a real imposter among us!" Yellow said. "And what's your evidence?" Captain said.

White brought down Cyan's dead body and showed it to him. I was gross.

The captain stared at the body for a moment and then laughed again.

"Are you guys trying to trick me or what? That's a dummy that you guys designed. You guys are good at tricking me."

Black smacked his head. We all did.

"Look, we're serious here," Black started to say, but the Captain cut him off. "Please stop pranking me. You know these types of calls are for emergencies, not for some weird pranks. So please stop calling me like that. If this happens again, I will have to choice but to ban you."

"We would rather get banned," I was about to say, but Black shook his head, saying not too.

So we all nodded glumly. "Yes, Captain" Then, the call ended.

"Now what?! Blue said. "No, One's gonna believe us!"
"That doesn't mean we have to stop trying," Black said. "If Captain thinks this is a joke for us, then we have to go on a more harder way."

"And what's that?" We all exclaimed.

"We have to finish our tasks or find who the imposter is," Black said. "If we finish all our tasks, the Captain will come to pick us up since this is a training mission, and training missions are to take care of the ship. If that's not an answer to our problem, then we'll have to figure out who the imposter is by ourselves."

"But fewer chances to live!" Blue said. "Were gonna lose more crewmates!"

"That's what Im talking about," Black continued. "You see, the imposters are going to kill everybody soon, and it has to be one of us. So we can't trust anybody unless the suspect does a visual task."

" Imposters can't do real tasks, so they can only fake them," Black said. "So look at the taskbar. If a crewmate finishes a task, and the bar goes up, then the crewmate might not be an imposter, but if the bar doesn't go up, press the emergency button because I think they might be faking the task, also; the imposters can vent. There's some vents around the Skeld. I don't know why there are vents, but only imposters can use them. If you find anybody using a vent, also press the emergency button."

"Ok," Green said.

" I have a question," I said. "What were those light tasks that we had to do earlier?"

"That's not a task," Black said. "It's a sabotage. The imposter sabotages the lights, so the crew gets their vision lowered, then they can kill in the dark, like a ninja. There's also many other sabotages, like Reactor meltdown, 02 meltdown, comms sabotage, and closing doors. Although I think you heard of it before."

"Yes, I did."

"But some sabotages are timed. If you don't fix the sabotage by that time, then bad things will happen, But now since Cyan's body was reported, we need to see where everybody was," Black said.

"Where was everybody when Red and Green reported Cyans body?"

"I was insecurity and then came down to electrical, and then for some reason, Red bumped into me, so we did the lights together, and we found Cyans dead body in that very room."

"I think I can vouch for green," Pink said. "I also saw him checking cameras and doing the reactor starting task.

"But why would you look at cameras?" Black said.

"Why not?" Green replied.

Black sighed. "Ok then, where were you at, Pink?"

"I was in the medbay checking samples," Pink replied.

Soon, everybody told their location, one by one, but there was no clear evidence on who killed Cyan. Everybody was too far away from the murder site.

Plus, the imposters could also even lie about where they were, making it much more harder.

"Let's skip the vote then," Black said. "There's no clear evidence that who killed Cyan, so let's just skip the vote."

"But what happens if you do find who the imposter is?" White said.

"We throw them out of the airlock, of course," Black said.

Everybody nodded in agreement, but some crewmates like Blue and yellow were trembling.

"Anyways, can we see that book?" I said, pointing at what Black was holding. It was Brown's diary.

"No, this is the only memory of my father, and I can't afford to lose this, so no, you can't read it."

"Oh ok," I said, backing down. I didn't want to hurt Blacks feelings more. That was why Black was always cold.

We then skipped the vote, and before we left, Black gave us one warning. "If you see anything strange, press the emergency button in the cafeteria."

We then nodded and then walked away to do tasks. I wondered who the imposter was and was determined to find him.
