Stella and Pyrrha suddenly entered the cafeteria, hand in hand. "Oh thank god." Alec blurted, as he had been worried he had jinxed them. "Sorry guys, I um.. needed a moment." Stella confessed. Jaune raised an eyebrow, "With Pyrrha?" He asked. Pyrrha just deadpanned him, realising what he thought they were doing.

"We have important matters to discuss" Pyrrha spoke as the two girls joined everyone else as they circled around the table. "In the span of three days Ruby and Ren have both been murdered, so we have come to the conclusion that there is an imposter on our ship." Stella spoke, as everyone either nodded or looked at one another in suspicion.

"Unfortunately we didn't find much at all suspicious when it came to Ruby's murder, so we'll focus on Ren's.. especially since it's so fresh." Jaune spoke up. "Did anyone find anything suspicious in the last three days?" Leon asked, as Adam and Maeve glanced at eachother, before Maeve gave the Taurus a nod. "Maeve, myself and a few others learnt that the vents can open. While Maeve and I were in electrical while the lights were out, we were attacked by another person. Once they left and we got the lights back on, we found the lid for the vent had been removed." Everyone looked quite surprised.

"That's definitely news.." Yang sighed, thinking about Ruby being found dead in electrical, it was quite possible that the murderer used the vent to escape, which meant everyone was a suspect to Ruby's murder.

"Jenni disappeared from communications, care to explain that?" Pyrrha asked as Jenni nodded. "I went to fix the lights with Jasper, I didn't like the idea of him going alone." Jenni confessed as everyone then turned to Jasper, seeing he looked completely fine; not even with a scratch on him. "That is true." Jasper confessed, trying not to shrink back as all eyes were on him.

"This morning I saw Jaune and Ren together around 9am passing through storage. I was heading to cafeteria to make myself a coffee." Miles spoke up. "It was around 9:40 when Lia and Kiko found Nora pacing around in the cafeteria, worried about Ren." Kiko spoke up, speaking in third person, which some others found strange.

Everyone then looked to Jaune, awaiting an answer on what happened while he was with Ren. "I was walking with Ren to do our jobs. He had a task in storage and then communications, and I was heading to navigation." He explained. "That's true, Jaune came into navigation around 9:10." Leon spoke up, as himself, Weiss, Jaune and Pyrrha had been in navigation that morning.

Weiss turned to Pyrrha, "Pyrrha came into navigation after us.." She insisted, a little suspicious. "I was having coffee with Stella in the cafeteria, and then we parted ways as I headed to navigation and Stella went to Yang's room." The Nikos explained. "It was about 9:10 when we parted ways. I was a little worried and made sure Pyrrha made it to navigation before I went to Yang's room." Stella explained.

"Which now makes you a bit suspicious, Stella." Ari spoke up. Stella realised they were correct. "No it doesn't, Stella came into my room just after 9:10, we were together for the rest of the day." Yang explained, clearing the Valentine's name.

Jaune sighed, growing frustrated. "I understand that we are all scared, and paranoid! But we need to think back to any events that were actually suspicious." He spoke. "What about when the lights turned off? Did anything suspicious happen then? So far we know that Maeve and Adam were attacked by somebody that climbed through the vent."

"Hmm.. actually I do have something that is definitely worth mentioning." Weiss spoke up, catching everybody's attention. "I was in electrical along with Elena, Ari and Davina. Right before the lights went out, Davina and Ari suddenly went missing— they both disappeared without a word." Weiss confessed as Elena nodded, confirming this.

Everyone either glanced at Ari or Davina, waiting for some sort of answer to this statement. "I saw Davina leave electrical, so I was following her, trying to find out where she was going." Ari said. "Then the lights went out and I lost track of her. I ended up running into Enzo and Jaune in storage, so I stayed with them." They explained.

"That's true." Enzo spoke up, "Ari was asking if we knew of Davina's whereabouts, but we hadn't heard her pass by.." Jaune confessed.

Everyone then turned to Davina, who shrugged. "I didn't trust Elena, Weiss or Ari so I left. I went into navigation to be alone." She spoke. "But that doesn't make any sense.. even if suspicious, in a group you're much safer than being alone.." Alec confessed.

Stella's eyes suddenly widened. "Davina is lying." She spoke up. Everyone turned to face her now. "As Pyrrha, Kiko and I ran from weapons to communications, I quickly looked in navigation and nobody was there.." The pinkette added. "And o2 was empty also, so you couldn't have been in there." Pyrrha added.

Everyone now glanced at Davina, as Adam felt his heart sink. "No.. Davina.. you didn't?" He asked, struggling to believe this. Davina ignored all of the eyes on her and looked away, unable to speak.

"Did you kill Lie Ren?" Jaune asked, as he was trying to control the anger in his voice. The Fall exhaled, before making eye contact with Jaune. "I did kill Ren, and also Ruby." She confessed.

"Why?! Why did you kill him!?" Nora screamed. Stella looked to Yang, who looked like she was going to explode. "What did Ruby or Ren ever do to you?!" She yelled. As other people screamed questions at her, Jaune was over the yelling at told everyone to shut up.

"What happens now?" Maeve asked, her tail swooshing in annoyance. "We can't keep a murderer on our ship.." Leon confessed, looking to Jaune. The yellow haired boy faced the group, unsure what to even suggest. Jaune was a great leader, but this decision was enormous. "What do you suggest we do?" He asked.

Whilst everyone shouted ideas, Jaune looked over to Stella. She had been the one that suggested originally not to execute anybody, he knew if Stella could help it, she would choose to spare everyone's lives. The pinkette's sad blue eyes met Jaune's, as he waited for her to speak. "We.. we can't make the same mistake as before. We need to execute the murderer, to save the rest of our lives." She decided, sounding hurt by her own decision. She wished they could save everyone.

Everyone agreed with Stella's idea, but the next decision was how the murderer would be executed. "I think the best way would be floating them into space, through the airlock." Jaune spoke up, as everyone agreed.

The Arc turned to Davina, "I'll give you five minutes to say any goodbyes." He said as Davina nodded. The raven haired girl turned on her heels and walked over to Adam, feeling Ari and Jenni's eyes on her. The pair were close to her older sister Cinder, and she could tell they didn't want to break this news to her when they landed back on Earth; not only that Cinder's little sister is a vile murderer but also got floated into space sending her to her death.

Adam felt devastated, he didn't want to lose Davina, the pair were friends as much as the Fall didn't want to admit it while they were in space. "Hey." Davina spoke, catching his attention. "I'm sorry Adam... we are friends. If I could trust anybody on this ship, it would be you. Obviously I had other intentions that you wouldn't have taken part in." She spoke as Adam nodded.

"Tell Issy... that I love her." The Fall pleaded as Adam gave her a half smile, "Trust me, Isabelle already knows." He insisted. Davina gave a slight smile back in response, before she turned back around and walked towards the airlock.

Jaune exhaled, not wanting to do this, but he had to. If he kept Davina on his ship, others would surely wind up dead. He felt footsteps approach him, and he turned to his left to see Stella. "You okay?" She asked softly. "Are you?" Jaune asked as the Valentine didn't answer.

"I don't want to do this, Stella. Murderers go to prison and they change— not to their death!" Jaune confessed. Davina was their friend, before all of this. Looking at the Fall now, he couldn't recognise her. "I understand.. which is why I've come to suggest that we do this together." The blonde looked to the Valentine, before hesitantly nodding, "Okay.. thank you."

The trio headed to the airlock, and closed Davina inside. The Fall watched as the pair both looked upset, neither of them wanting to do this. "Neither of you have the heart to do this.. you know this means you don't make good leaders." She insisted with a smirk. This struck a nerve in Stella.

"You're going to be the spaceship's doctor?" Markus Valentine asked in surprise, as Stella gave an eager nod. "Valentine's are leaders, I expected that you would become captain." Markus insisted.

Not only did Seylah stiffen at these words, being a nurse, but Stella frowned. "You just can't be proud of me can you? I have worked my ass off for this position and you still expect better of me!" Stella snapped.

"I never said I wasn't proud of you but I would have much preferred if you became the captain— a leader!" Mr Valentine insisted. Stella frowned, "If Valentine's are leaders than what the hell kind of a leader are you!? You ditched your three young children to go follow and simp over Raven Branwen! You left us to raise ourselves. That's not being a leader." The pinkette growled.

"How am I supposed to be a good leader when I have never seen any kind of good leadership in my entire life?!" Stella snapped, though she didn't realise that her words hurt Seylah. In the heat of the moment, Stella could only focus on her dad, but she knew in her heart Seylah had shown incredible leadership in the ways she raised her and Nik.

"You don't mean that.." Markus frowned. "I do. I have never meant anything more in my life!" Stella concluded before she stormed off. Stella Valentine was incredibly kind, she would never raise her voice at a soul.. that was until her father eventually broke her.

"Shut up, Fall." Stella ordered. Jaune looked at the pinkette in surprise, never seeing her even slightly mad before. "Do you have any last words?" Jaune asked, facing the raven haired girl. Davina shrugged, "You guys can keep playing games as much as you would like, but you're all going to die anyway... especially with lousy leadership from you two." She declared. "We're not playing any games.. we're just trying to survive." Jaune insisted.

Stella and Jaune both reached their hand for the lever, to open the airlock door to float Davina into space. Their hands both clutched it and they shared one last glance, before they pulled it down at once. "Together." They thought.

The airlock door opened and the Fall was whisked into the atmosphere, as Stella and Jaune could only watch. A tear rolled down Jaune's cheek, as they watched their former friend float to her death. "We had to do what was right for everyone.." He told himself, as the pair sat in complete silence. "And we're bearing this so they don't have to."
