⚠️ T/W: Attempted suicide ⚠️

A couple of weeks passed, and Kiko's wound was finally beginning to heal. The faunus was currently walking around the ship with Stella, talking loudly.

"I have a job in Security, wanna come?" Stella asks. Kiko gives an eager nod, before they go down the hall passing Medbay, towards security.

Once in Security, Kiko sat in the swivel chair and spun around, whilst Stella fixed the wires. "Hey Stell.. are we closer to finding any solution to... everything?" Kiko asked, as the chair stopped spinning.

Stella shook her head. "Jaune and I have barely slept these past couple of weeks, as we've been trying to figure out any sort of solution.. so far we're no closer than we were two weeks ago." The Valentine sighed, disappointedly.

Kiko frowned, "If Adam was correct, we are all going to run out of food, water and fuel soon." She stated, as Stella was well aware of this. "I know.." She said sadly.

Meanwhile in the kitchen, Pyrrha and Nora we're making a coffee for Jaune, as he'd been busily working away in Navigation, trying to come up with anything.

Pyrrha knew her girlfriend was absolutely pumped with caffeine, but Jaune on the other hand, was not.

Jasper watched them, as Nora grabbed a jar of sugar. "What are you doing?" He asks, as Nora placed a couple spoonfuls of sugar into the mug of coffee. "Making Jaune coffee." The Valkyrie answered as she was about to put another spoonful of sugar into the mug.

"...Are you planning on giving him a heart attack?" Jasper asked nervously as Nora realised she was probably overdoing it with the sugar, and tipped it from the spoon, back into the jar.

"We're going to go to Navigation, want to come?" Pyrrha asked as Jasper nodded, "Sure."

Jaune watched as Jenni closed the panel, before turning to face him. "There we go, all fixed!" She said, clapping her hands together. "Thanks Jenni." Jaune gave a smile.

The wolf faunus glanced at a small box, obviously containing a ring, before she held it up. "Who is this for?" She asked. Jaune noticed the family box and bit his lip. "Nova."

"You're going to propose to Nova!?" The Opal blurted. "What? No! Leon was going to." Jaune admitted as Jenni laughed before nodding, as that made more sense.

"You should give it to Nova.. I'm sure he would love to hold onto what he can of Leon." Jenni insisted, before her eyes met Jaune's again. Jaune nodded, "Yeah... I just... I know it's going to make him upset. What Nova and Leon had was special... people search their entire lives for the love they had... and Leon was selfishly ripped away from him."

Jenni nodded understandingly, "I understand... but think about how you would feel if you were in Nova's shoes." She said as Jaune nodded, "I would want to know about this..."

There was a pause before Jaune looked up at Jenni again, "Thank you Jenni, I know what I have to do."

But before Jaune could do anything, Pyrrha, Nora and Jasper entered the room, Pyrrha holding a mug of coffee.

"Hello again— hope we aren't intruding." Pyrrha flashed a smile. "No! Not at all." Jaune insisted, before he received the mug from the Nikos girl, "Thank you."

"We thought you might want some company." Nora chirped as Jaune smiled, "Actually... that would be really nice." He admitted.

Jenni smiled at the scene, "I'll see you guys later." She said, before heading out the doorway.

Blake sat facing the large open window, watching the stars. She thought about the times she'd sat here with Maeve, and enjoyed eachothers company.. especially when they'd first tried to rekindle their friendship.

Tears pool in her eyes, as it was still fresh in her mind that the girl she'd fallen head over heels for, and wanted to grow old with... was gone forever.

Sure, they'd never spoken about it, but both Maeve and Blake saw a future together... but now it was too late.

Weiss approached the girl, taking a seat beside her. "Hey.. you okay?" The Schnee asked softly as Blake shook her head. "I miss her so much, Weiss." She stammered, her voice quite unstable.

"I left her to die... how could I have been so selfish?! Now the girl I love so much, is gone." Blake managed to say before she broke down. Weiss felt her heart sink at these words, and placed an arm around her, comfortingly.

Looking back, Maeve's orders for Blake to leave electrical seemed to have been a way to keep her safe. The fox faunus knew what she was up against, when it came to fighting Adam, but she couldn't bare for him to kill Blake... deep down she knew she'd rather die before letting Adam truly get what he wanted... obviously being Blake dead.

Blake sunk into Weiss, as the Schnee holds her, letting her cry.

Jaune approaches Nova, who was in communications, doing a download task. "Hey Nova." Jaune greets, entering the room. "Hi Jaune." The raven haired boy turns to face the Arc.

"I uh.. need to talk to you about something." Jaune says, a seriousness in his voice. Nova turns to face him, "Sure... what's up?" He asks.

Jaune pulls the small box from his pocket, as Nova looks at in surprise. The blonde opens the box, revealing a shiny, silver ring.

"Woah.. woah.. Jaune, at least take me out to dinner first—" Nova blurts as Jaune tries to hold back a nervous chuckle. "No no.. this isn't from me." Jaune says.

Nova looks at the ring, before he lifts a hand, to cover his mouth in surprise, at the realisation. His eyes begin to well with tears, but he refused to cry in front of somebody.

"Leon planned to propose to you. I feel like... you should have this." Jaune says, closing the box, before he hands it to Nova.

The panther faunus takes it, before offering a weak smile, "Th...Thanks Jaune." He says, clutching it tightly in his hand.

Jaune notices the boy trying to compose himself, and struggling. He steps forward, and goes to hug Nova. Nova is reluctant, but hugs Jaune back, as he couldn't help but to cry now, feeling completely overwhelmed with sadness and grief. Tears roll down Jaune's cheek, as he thinks about his friend... that he'll never have the chance to see again.

As Enzo stood in lower engine, Elena suddenly steps in, holding something tightly in her hand. The fox faunus hears her footsteps, and turns around, to face her.

"Elena.." He says, seeing the cat faunus with a deathly glare. "You're the last imposter." She says, coldly. Enzo frowns, but suddenly freezes in place as she holds up a pistol that she had taken from weapons, as she aims it at him.

Truth be told, it had been a quiet couple of weeks... but Enzo was indeed the imposter. He was waiting for the chance to kill and frame somebody else, but it hadn't arrived.

"Yes. I am. Is that what you want me to say!?" Enzo asks, angrily, realising that maybe the next victim would have to be Elena. "Do you even care that Maeve is gone?" Elena asks, as Enzo frowns. "Of course I do— but... her death was inevitable."

Elena felt her eyes sting with tears, as she thought about Alec and Maeve, the two most important people in her life, that were now gone. All Enzo could say, is that it was inevitable.

Elena holds the gun tightly, her hands shaking as the weapon is still aimed at Enzo.

"What are you going to do.. kill me? You realise this just means you're next. You'll die." Enzo hisses as Elena places her hand over the trigger. "I already have.. do you know how it felt?" She asks, as Enzo opens his mouth to answer, but doesn't get the chance as a bullet pierces through his heart, his body then falls to the floor.

"It felt like that.." Elena managed to stammer, "That was for Alec... and Maeve."

The girl stood alone, sobbing to herself, as she raised the gun, holding it against her head. "I... I can't do this anymore.." She tells herself, as she wavers her fingers over the trigger, prepared to pull it.

"Elena! No!!"

As the Lightbourne pulls the trigger, a pair of arms quickly approach her, trying to push the gun out of her hand, but result in harming themselves.

The pair fall to the ground with a thud, as Elena turns around to realise that she had just shot Jasper.

She covers her mouth, trying not to scream as she says, "Jasper!" Elena approaches his body, which was already lifeless, the bullet piercing through his skull. Blood pooled on the floor, where they sat.

"No... no no no— Jasper!!" Elena cries out, sobbing. "Jasper... I'm so sorry—"
