Blake laid sprawled out on her bed, her eyes red and puffy from crying. Maeve entered the room quietly, after doing her tasks with Enzo and Weiss.

"Baby..?" Maeve asked softly, as Blake rolled over to face Maeve, who'd just entered the room. "I.. I can't take this, Maeve." The cat faunus sat up, her ears drooped. "Yang and Miles were our friends.. Ari was our friend.. god this just.. it doesn't make sense—"

Maeve sat down on the bed, beside Blake. "I know.. it doesn't. I hate this. We all do.." The fox faunus trails off. "I wish things were back to how they were before.."

The pair embraced, holding eachother as Blake cried into her girlfriend's shoulder.

Nova sat in the spinning chair in Navigation, that Leon had sat in previously. He seemed lost in thought, thinking about his lost love. He missed him more than he could ever have imagined.

"Hey Nova." Weiss' voice piped up, as the heiress entered the room. "Hey." Nova replied, as Weiss took a seat in Jaune's spinning chair.

The Schnee was glassy eyed, as she looked at Nova. "I miss Leon so fucking much.." She said quietly, before she sniffled. Nova's ears drooped, "I do too.. he deserved so much better than this.. he was so incredible." Nova sighed, his voice trembling.

"Weiss!" Leon's voice piped up, as a small, redheaded boy approached the Schnee. "This is my new friend— Nova!"

A small, black haired panther faunus stepped out from behind Leon, and gave Weiss a wave. The Schnee smiled brightly, "Yay!! A new friend!"

Nova gave a nervous smile, but then quickly stood back beside Leon. It was clear that the Pierce boy had been through a lot... he certainly wasn't trusting. So far he had only grown to trust his adoptive sister Alycia, and now Leon.

Leon reached out, and took Nova's hand. "I'll take you to the playground— we can go and play on the swing set!! The Trinity boomed as Nova just nodded.

With that, they were off, as Weiss huffed. "Hey!! Wait for me!!"

"He was my best friend.." Weiss said, tears rushing down her face. Nova looked to her, feeling empathy for her. He knew how close Leon and Weiss were.. they had spent their whole childhoods practically together.

"I don't know... how to move on from this." Nova admitted, "I just... don't see any sort of future anymore.. for me." He added. Weiss sniffled, before she reached out and placed her hand on Nova's. "I don't know either.. but we have eachother. Whatever happens now, we stick together." She insisted. Nova looked up, trying to give her a half smile. "Always."

Jaune stood in the doorway, sadness filling him as he watched the pair. He also wanted Leon back, more than anything.

Hours later

Stella laid sprawled out on her bed, feeling completely numb. She couldn't cry anymore tears, even if she tried as hard as she could.

Kiko sat over on her bed, looking through a handful of pictures, as she was thinking about Ilia. She had shed tears, but tried to think of the amazing memories she had with the other chameleon faunus.

Pyrrha entered the room now, locking the door behind her. "Stell, Kiko... How are you guys?" She asked softly. Kiko, who was still quite glassy eyed, looked up at Pyrrha.

"Kiko is... tired. Tired of all of this. It feels like a nightmare that we can't wake up from." Pyrrha felt her heart sink at those words.. and how true her statement was.

Stella rolled over, and faced Pyrrha. "I don't know how to feel." She admitted. Pyrrha approached her girlfriend, and took a seat beside her. "I just lost my best friend... my sister..." The Valentine trailed off. "I always told myself that I didn't know what I was going to do without her... but I didn't realise that I'd have to figure it out so soon."

Pyrrha took Stella's hands, as she intertwined her fingers. "One step at a time, my love. We will get through this together." She said softly. Stella rolled onto her back, as she looked up at Pyrrha, and gave her a sad smile. "Okay." She barely managed to reply.

Elena looked into the mirror, and she slipped a necklace around her neck. A piece of jewellery that belonged to her twin brother.

Jenni suddenly walked into the room, and gave the car faunus a forced smile, but didn't say anything. Things had been tense between the pair, and Jenni didn't want to upset Elena again.

Noticing the forced smile, and feeling the awkward tension... guilt rose in Elena's chest, and she decided to just get straight to it and finally apologise.

"Jenni.. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean what I said... and I definitely shouldn't have yelled at you."

Jenni looked over to Elena now, standing still as she listened to her speak.

"You've been an amazing friend and... I've been horrible to you. I'm... I'm really sorry."

Seeing as though Elena was choking up with tears, Jenni stepped forward and embraced her quickly. Elena threw her arms around the wolf faunus, hugging her back.

"Thank you for apologising." Jenni replied. "Grief is really hard... and I'm sorry about Alec. If there's anything that I can do, don't hesitate to let me know." She added.

Elena just nodded, the tears welling in her eyes threatening to fall. She dug her head into Jenni's shoulder, letting it all out.

Jasper, Nora, Adam and Enzo walked past the weapons room, on their way to the dorm rooms. Looking at the weapons on the racks, Jasper stopped, as he noticed a lot of them were missing. "Why are so many of the weapons missing?" He asked.

Nora, Adam and Enzo's eyes darted to the weapon rack, before Nora spoke up, "I guess everyone is keeping their weapons with them." She suggested. "I can't blame them. Wilt is with me at all times now." Adam added.

Jasper nodded, understandingly, but upon closer inspection he realised that most of the weapons that remained on the racks, were the weapons of the deceased. This realisation made his heart sink, especially when he came across Yang's gauntlets.

"I think my weapon has been stolen." Enzo confessed, as he hadn't found it for a couple of days. "What?? That's insane!" Jasper blurted, realising that whoever had stolen Enzo's weapon, could easily use it to frame him if they chose to murder someone. Enzo wasn't thinking about that though, he was thinking about protecting himself.

"Well. Lucky I have Adam to protect me." He chuckled, before placing a hand on Adam's shoulder. Adam just chuckled, rolling his eyes before looking back to Enzo, then Jasper and Nora.

Later that night

Stella found herself tossing and turning in her sleep, struggling to stay comfortable. Eventually, she ended up in Pyrrha's arms, as the redhead had reached out to hold her moments prior.

It seemed the Nikos had found a successful way to keep her restless girlfriend in one place, as Stella seemed more relaxed now.

That was until, the girlfriends woke up to hear an ear piercing scream somewhere within the ship.

Pyrrha and Stella shot out of their bed, with no time to waste. Rushing over to the door, they realised that Kiko's bed was empty.

"No—" Was all that Pyrrha could manage to blurt, as Stella grabbed hold of Elektra. The Nikos then grabbed Milo, and they left their room, to find the source of the scream, that they were praying wasn't Kiko.
