"Wow that is quite a wound you have there." Stella said to Maeve, as she begun cleaning the cut on her arm. Maeve winced at the pain of the disinfectant. "Sorry." Stella blurted as Maeve shook her head. "It's fine, just a little sting."

"I can't believe Davina attacked you guys by going through the vents.. I wonder whose weapon she took.." The pinkette trailed off. "I don't know, but I'm going to be keeping Wolverine on me at all times now." The fox faunus decided.

Stella begun to stitch the wound together, as Maeve sat as still as she could. "Talk to me, about anything. Distract me from what you're doing to my arm." The Lopez insisted. "Well uh.. how does it feel to be stuck in space with your brother?" Stella suddenly asked. "It must be nice.. I would have loved for Seylah or Nik to travel with me." The Valentine hummed.

"Actually being in space with Enzo hasn't been so bad. I thought it would be much worse." Maeve laughed. "How about being with Blake? Enzo told me you guys had bad blood." Stella added. Maeve sighed, "My twin is such a big mouth— we did, but it's all in the past. I'm really happy that we're friends again." The Lopez hummed.

Stella didn't want to overstep, but she could tell by how Maeve had spoken, that she wanted to be more than just friends with Blake. The pinkette decided not to say anything.

"There you go, all stitched up. Be careful not to cut the stitches open." Stella said, as she had finished with Maeve's wound. "Thanks Stell.. I don't think I'll damage them." The fox faunus admitted, though her tone came off as rather cold, which wasn't intended at all. "You would be surprised how common it is." The Valentine laughed nervously.

Maeve left medbay, stumbling into Blake in the hallway. "Hey, sorry." Maeve chuckled awkwardly as she greeted her best friend. "Hey Maevey, I was actually looking for you. I need to talk to you." Blake insisted. "Oh, yeah sure." Maeve smiled.

The pair wandered off to somewhere quieter. "Maeve, with all of the crazy events that we've dealt with in space, i'm worried that if anything happens to me or you, it'll be my biggest regret that I haven't been honest with you." The Belladonna explained. Maeve looked puzzled, "Honest about what, Blake?" She asked softly. "My feelings for you."

Blake's ears drooped as she blushed, "Maeve, I love you." She confessed. Maeve's eyes widened in surprise, before she blushed slightly, "You.. love me?" She asked, almost uncertain that she didn't hear those words correctly. Blake nodded sheepishly.

"I love you too." Maeve replied, a big smile on her lips. Blake couldn't help but feel a bit surprised to hear these words back.. she only expected to get her feelings out.

Maeve gently took Blake's hands in hers, before the pair shared what was their first kiss.

The night had been spent making and enjoying foods that Ruby and Ren loved. For Ren, Nora insisted on making ramen, and Yang suggested milk and cookies for dessert in tribute to Ruby.

Pyrrha, Jasper, Nora and Miles worked together in the kitchen, preparing the cookie dough, whilst the ramen was nearly ready to be eaten.

"I hate to ask such a question.. but what are we going to do about the bodies?" Leon asked, approaching Jaune. The Arc boy frowned, not wanting to think about it either.. they had just lost their friends. But at the same time, they we're staying in space for quite a while, they couldn't leave their friends bodies to decompose on the ship.

"We'll have to float them, and hold a tribute." Jaune suggested, as Leon nodded sadly. "I guess that is the only real option.." He sighed, sitting beside Jaune. "I didn't think being captain would involve having to make decisions that result in life or death.. I'm not god. I feel like I can't make these decisions." He confessed sadly. Leon put a hand on his shoulder, "You're doing the best you can, I'm proud of you Jaune." He smiled. Jaune smiled back, before Leon stood up, walking away.

SOMETIME LATER

Everyone sat together, as Ruby and Ren's covered bodies had been ejected through the airlock. As they floated away, Nora sobbed, with Jaune and Pyrrha at her side. Yang held onto Stella's arm, as the pair both cried. Their friends were never coming back to them.

"I can't believe we're going to be going home without her.." Yang sighed, still holding onto Stella's arm. "Neither can I.." Stella insisted, her voice in almost a whisper.

Jasper went into the kitchen, feeling sympathy for everyone. "Hey Miles." The boy greeted, seeing Miles taking the cookies out of the oven. "Fuck!" Miles blurted, not hearing Jasper walk in, he had been frightened. He jumped, as all of the cookies on the tray jumped too, but thankfully landed back on the tray. "God damn it Ace, we could have had an even bigger loss today." Miles huffed, referring to the cookies. "Sorry." Jasper awkwardly responded, as he helped Miles set all of the cookies onto a rack to cool.

Several minutes passed and everyone was sitting in an odd shaped circle, eating cookies and drinking milk. "Does this make us grown up now?" Stella asked Yang, referring to them drinking milk. Yang laughed, "Ruby really thought milk made her grow big and strong.." She giggled.

Weiss noticed Yang smiling, and couldn't help but crack a smile. "Has somebody melted the ice queens heart?" Leon asked, catching her attention. The Schnee blushed, "It's just.. I haven't seen Yang smile in days. It's nice." She confessed. "Somebody has a crush!" Nova teased. Weiss rolled her eyes, "I thought we established that already." She huffed.

"That ramen we ate earlier was incredible." Enzo confessed, as he laid sprawled out on the ground, beside Adam. Adam chuckled at his best friend, "I really enjoyed it.. but god these cookies are unbeatable." The Taurus confessed as he happily munched on a cookie.

Kiko was sitting by the large window, watching as Ruby and Ren's covered bodies were floating away. Ilia noticed her sitting alone and approached her. "You okay, love?" The chameleon faunus asked the other. Kiko turned to Ilia, "Lia.. Kiko is worried that we're still not going to be safe." She sighed. "But.. the imposter is gone, we have nothing to worry about anymore." Ilia smiled, as she took Kiko's hand. "Kiko hopes her love is right." The chameleon smiled sadly, before she leant her head on Ilia's shoulder, as they continue to look out the glass.

Behind them, others were starting to chatter, trying to lighten to mood. "So, how long have you guys known eachother?" Abra asked Weiss, referring to how long she knew Leon and Nova. "Well, I have known Leon and the Trinity family ever since I was born pretty much. The Schnee and Trinity families are very close." Weiss explained. "Actually our parents wanted us to get married." Leon confessed as Jaune snorted, "What?!" He asked. "An arranged marriage? How ridiculous.." Pyrrha sighed, now sitting with Stella.

"Yeah but my Mum wasn't really for the idea, she said there was always the possibility that I could end up liking guys and Weiss could end up liking girls and if that was the case, obviously a marriage between us would be..." Leon trailed off, unsure of what word to use. "Preposterous!" Jenni spoke up as Leon shot a finger gun her way, "What she said." He chuckled.

"When did you guys meet Nova, though?" Elena asked, who was sitting with Blake, Maeve and Jenni. "Well my family, the Trinity family are also very close to the Lang family, who were close to the Pierce family." Leon began to explain. "When my parents died, Silas and Katerina Lang took me in, and raised me along with their daughter Alycia." Nova took over. "I lived with them ever since I was seven years old, and not long after that I met Leon, and then Weiss." The Pierce boy explained. "And as kids we would always play together." Weiss smiled.

"That's so cute.." Stella smiled, as everyone turned to her, Pyrrha and Yang. "Are you two childhood sweethearts too?" Alec asked the girls. Stella and Pyrrha shook their heads, "We actually met at the academy, where we all met and trained together." Pyrrha smiled, before interlacing her hand with Stella's. "We've been together for two years." Stella added as the girls smiled at eachother. "Cute!!" Blake smiled at them. Stella looked back to Blake, seeing her and Maeve holding hands, she smirked at them as they both blushed.

"So this is it.. our ship is back to being safe.." Leon spoke up, looking to Jaune. "At last." The blonde replied.

Everyone was fairly quiet, before Elena stood up, offering a hand to Jenni. "I wanna show you something, Jen-jen." She said, using then nickname she'd given her. "Okay!" Jenni took her hand to stand up, before the pair walked away. Alec watched his twin walking away, and thought about it. Since Elena had been hoping for Blake and Maeve to get together, she'd been spending more time with Jenni to leave her best friends alone together.

"I think Elena might have a crush on Jenni." Alec blurted, as everyone looked at him. Adam and Enzo looked surprised, but then glanced at eachother, thinking about it. "There's a chance Elena is barking up the wrong tree.." Blake admitted as Maeve snorted, amused by the way her girlfriend worded that.

"I'm actually going to head back to my room for a bit, thank you for the ramen and cookies." Abra chimed, standing up. "You're welcome!" Jasper replied chirpily. Ari and Nora also had decided to head off to their rooms.

For the first time in a while, everyone seemed relaxed.

That was until an alarm began to ring.
