The blue-haired teen tumbled onto the ground as a mysterious figure jumped towards him, leaving all of his teammates unaware of the current situation. 

It left nothing but a track of screams from both Soarin and the girls, Sadly, none of the girls were able to track the quick motion with their lights. 

With Twilight on the lead, she quickly flashed her light around their surroundings, following their crewmate's screams to find their location. But her hand was shaking too much from the fear rushing through her body, making her aim useless. 

But as soon as Soarin's flashlight rolled towards Twilight's feet, its light reflected onto the pinned man. And there they quickly recognize the creature on top of him. 

Like what they've seen before, the savage on top of Soarin was wearing the same laboratory uniform with a "District 4" tag in the back. 

Its eyes were wide open as it reflected a green aura right in her pupils. Aside from that, her skin was torn apart which revealed deeper parts of her skin. 

Blood was scattered around her torso, her right arm was filled with bruises and blood, and the communication device attached to her left wrist was broken.

The distract 1 captain's eyes widened at the disturbing view, making her body freeze as pure fear completely overthrow her body. All she can do was watch their commander fight for his life against the savaged one. 

With their clear view of the two, one of the members suddenly screamed out the savage's name, causing all of her crewmates to back away from the terrifying scene. 

"S-Spitfire!" The captain gasped with pure shock in her voice. 

Now that everyone recognized the ones called "Savages", Sunset suddenly stepped in front of Twilight, preparing her defensive stance. 

"Goddammit, don't just stand there, help me!" Flash cried out, pushing Spitfire away to avoid contact with her sharp bloody claws. 

But before Sunset could even yell out a warning, the savaged Spitfire unexpectedly lifted her head, tilting it sideward to lock directly onto Soarin's neck. 

It then opened her mouth which revealed her sharp bloody teeth. Luckily the male teen managed to hold Spitfire off before it could strike. 

One contact with Spitfire's blood with an opened wound from Soarin could quickly transfer its blood cells onto his blood which will rush through his brain to start the infection. 

Sadly no one knew the cause nor reason for the sudden pandemic. But with the current situation at hand, Soarin could no longer hold off Spitfire any longer. 

But when Spitfire was about to strike her claw on the teen's neck, Sunset shimmer immediately rushed in and swung the ax directly through her neck.

Because of the quick yet hard force, Sunset applied to her attack, the ax went through Spitfire's neck, cutting her head off as blood scattered around the floor.

Luckily Soarin managed to roll away from the corpse before its blood could even scatter onto her.

But with that done, the 8 teens watched the savaged one's head roll in their opposite direction. Its eyes were still widened, veins were popping out her skin, and bruises were seen all across her face.

Seconds later, the decapitated head suddenly faded, turning into ashes that spread into the air in an instant.

All crewmates just stood there, still recovering from what happened. Some were shocked while the rest were saddened by the loss of a fellow crewmate.

But all of them knew, that wasn't the Spitfire they knew.

But nothing stopped Soarin from getting back to his feet to reclaim the lead from Twilight Sparkles. After standing up, he quickly rubbed the dust away from his torso before facing the rest of the girls.

"S-spitfire.." He stammered out with pure fear in his voice.

Fluttershy covered her mouth with both her hands. "No.. This can't be! They got her!"

Pinkie pie started to tear up, still holding her big cousin's arm. "Is she gone?"

The male teen sighed and looked back to the path leading to the spaceship at the distance.

"We have no time.. We have to meet up with the others and continue with the mission." He commanded while kneeling to grab his flashlight.

Applejack's eyes widened at his statement. "But what about Spitfire! We can't just leave her corpse-like that! Heck, we don't even know if she's dead!"

"How dumb are you, Applejack?!" Sunset interrupted, wiping the bloodstains on her ax. "I decapitated her, she's gone! They got her, she turned into one of those monsters!"

"And h-her head turned into ashes.." Rarity added, holding in her tears from bursting out.

Applejack let out a sigh as she looked down at her unconscious friend in her hand. It seems like Rainbow Dash was still unconscious after the incident back at the lab. Luckily she was still breathing properly according to her blonde friend.

Twilight stepped up. "Soarin's right, we should meet up with the others as soon as possible."

All of her crewmates nodded their head in response, all agreeing to both captain's command. With that being said, all of the teens quickly ran towards the spacecraft as Soarin took the lead.

Followed by Soarin Skies was Sunset shimmer who held her ax tightly to defend her team. Next to her was Twilight Sparkles who continuously checked her communication device to see any response from the other survivors.

The rest followed from behind, flashing all their flashlights in their surroundings as screams and gunshots were heard outside the territory.

After running towards the spacecraft, they finally made it to the front entrance where they saw another scanner near the door.

Since none of them had any authorization in this district, they cannot open the door without any scan from the officials who work here.

"Hey! Braeburn we're here!" Soarin called while knocking on the metal door several times.

Twilight stepped aside and dialed one of the survivor's code number on her communication device on her wrist.

"Trixie! It's us, open the door, quick!"

They kept knocking loudly onto the metal door, causing a loud noise to echo all over the territory.

But as soon as they heard something screaming in the distance, all of their eyes widened in complete fear, making all of them knock on the door again to signal the others.

There they saw another savage running towards them at an abnormal speed. Its jaws were wide opened as its claws pointed on the crewmate in the back, Pinkie pie.

"Braebrun, you mother f*cker! Open up this door right now!" Soarin screamed, sounding weakened yet so scared.

Since no one was answering the door, Sunset quickly stepped back and prepared her ax to defend the youngest member of her District team.

When the unnamed savage took another step forwards, a gunshot was heard in the distance as a bullet flew directly through the monster's head, making it tumble sideward before it could even touch Pinkie pie.

All of the teens stopped knocking, turning around to face the one who caused the gunshot. And when they saw the person in the dark distance, a smile quickly formed on Soarin's face.

"Asshole! It's about time." He yelled out.

The stranger reloaded his pistol before running towards the teens which made the light reflect on its face to make the others recognize him.

"Sorry for the delay, partner. I secured the other entrance." He replied.

Twilight giggled. "Thank Celestia, you're okay, captain Braeburn."

The blonde male teen flipped his hair with just one look which made the blue-haired captain irresistibly blush at the view.

"Anyways, sorry to keep you guys waiting. Are all of you okay?" He started while typing in the code in the panel near the metal door.

"What's up with that unconscious cheek in your arms, cousin?" Braeburn asked.

"I-I'll tell ya later, Brae. We have to take shelter now."

The District 5 captain agreed. Seconds after the code was input, the door slowly opened which allowed the teens to finally enter the spacecraft.

When they all entered, all 3 captains closed the door with a single tap on the control panel.

"Were safe, for now." Twilight sighed in relief.

"I'll go check up with Trixie in Navigations, you girls should rest up in the sleeping quarters."

Soarin was quick to stand up right beside the cowboy. "I-I'll.. I'll go with you, I should check if everything's ready to go before we start the mission."

The blonde cowboy nodded his head and smiled. "Sure, just follow me."

And with that, the two male teens left the room, leaving the rest of the girls alone in the entrance room.

Twilight walked out of the room moments later, bringing Sunset shimmer with her.

"We'll go check Commander Celestia's commands for this Mission." She started while looking at Pinkie pie. "You, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash should rest up in the sleeping quarters."

"How about me and Fluttershy?" Rarity asked.

"Make sure that the spacecraft is clear. The windows must be locked, doors must be closed through the panels, and the Skeld's operating system should be working before raking off."

"Alright." Rarity nodded before running off with Fluttershy.

Now that all teens went to their separate ways to do their task, each crewmate has a different perspective in their doings.

But none of them knew.. That the spacecraft's upper engine was already been sabotaged.
