Continuous screams and yelling were still being heard outside, paired with cars crashing into each other moments later. 

For the 7 remaining teens left in the laboratory, they managed to rush into the security room without taking a peek nor looking at the increasing green aura spreading all across the skies. 

As soon as the last member got inside the security room, Applejack immediately slammed her fist onto the emergency protocol button in the control panel. 

And with that one quick push, it activated an emergency protocol alarm all over the building as its mechanical doors automatically closed. 

Not long after the first sign of emergency happened, it was followed by another one when the teens watch metal covers slowly cover all of the windows in the lab which made their surroundings darker. 

Twilight let out a sigh of relief, taking a few steps away from the door to seat down on the commander's chair. 

The working computer screen became their only source of light in the dimmed room as Twilight and her crewmates slowly roamed around the place. 

The security room was big enough for all of the teens. It served as the emergency room whenever a tragic situation or a pandemic occurs. 

But in this unexpected happening, all teens managed to get a grip of themselves before checking all of the CCTV footage in the hidden cameras outside the lab. 

All except for the poor traumatized pink-haired teen. Pinkie pie remained seating alone in the corner, still holding onto her cousin's arm tightly. 

Applejack sighed and stayed with her cousin, keeping her in her arms to somehow give comfort and to calm the youngest member down. 

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy continued checking the files in the cabinet, looking for a possible explanation for the current unexpected explosion in the skies. 

On the left side, we see Sunset Shimmer and Rarity trying to pull the lock of the laboratory's circuit breaker to flick the emergency switch back on. 

And lastly Twilight, the captain herself, rushed to the only working desktop in the room to check the newly released news. 

But when she pressed the button 'enter' to see the results, the browser only flashed a white screen with a sad emoji face in the center. 

"Sorry, no internet? Goddammit!" Twilight read the blinking words in her screen which made all of her crewmates stop their task and run up to her. 

"What's wrong, Twilight?" Sunset worriedly asked, placing a hand in the purple-haired teen's shoulder. 

Twilight coughed and rested her head down to the desk, obviously holding back her tears to avoid showing it to her friends. 

Sunset Shimmer sighed, helping the captain get up to her feet to make the seat clear for Applejack, who was second in command. 

The cowgirl took Twilight's space, typing in the right coordinates to access the folder containing all of the CCTV footage. 

Luckily for the girls, it still managed to load get into the folder without any corruption. The folder opened and showed 9 videos caught in the camera outside their base. 

Applejack didn't hesitate to double click the first video. It then showed the beginning of the footage at the exact time of 2:32 am. 

"Skip it.. Its already 8:44 pm." Rainbow added, showing the current time in her phone to Applejack. 

The blonde teen nodded and skipped the video for a couple of hours, stopping at 30 minutes before the explosion in the skies occurred. 

And there they saw people passing by their gates, all were acting normal and the skies were still in its normal state. 

"S-skip it." Rarity suggested while watching the people walking by near the laboratory. 

Once again, Applejack followed her friend's other as she enables the "2x speed" function to make the video play faster. 

People were walking much faster, the same as the cars, the clouds in the skies, and the time seen in the upper right of the screen.

Suddenly, a small green beam showed in the skies which caught the attention of the light-pink haired teen. 

"There, stop!" Fluttershy shouted after flicking a finger to point at the small evolving beam in the skies. 

Second, in command, Applejack returned the footage back in its original speed as she slowly watched the footage with her friends behind her. 

And there they saw the mysterious green beam slowly vanish again, causing a darkened color spread in its surroundings. 

"What.. is that thing?" Rarity was able to stammer out, presenting a shocked expression for a reaction. 

Fluttershy leaned in closer to the screen, still determining a possible explanation for the green beam that just suddenly disappeared into the black clouds.

She grabbed her notes, flipping some pages to find a specific page. "I have no idea." She cried out. "I never have seen anything like this.." 

"Me too.." Applejack started, glaring at the rest of her friends behind her. "This is beyond our studies, we never learned anything like this." 

"Danm.." Rainbow Dash sighed. "Fluttershy's the smartest person we have here aside from Twilight and yet she doesn't know what the hell is that thing!" 

"Lower your voice, Dash!" Sunset shouted while holding the captain tightly in her arms. "T-Twilight's losing it, please all of you, calm down." 

Rainbow Dash gritted her teeth, showing anger in her gaze. "But she's the goddamn captain! Don't you think she should be the one guiding us in this situation?" 

"Dash!' Applejack yelled back after grabbing her friend's wrist to pull her away. "Don't ya dare mess up things again, ya hear me?" 

The Rainbow-haired teen chuckled, pulling her hand back from Applejack's grip. " Oh what did I do this time, is it wrong to give some goddamn sense to our captain?!" 

Fluttershy stepped into the scene as she grabbed her raging friend continuously shout at Twilight. 

"D-Dashie, stop!" She begged after hugging her from behind. 

Rainbow Dash didn't listen which made her mad temper slowly overthrow her mind. 

As the girls continued to shout out each other, Rarity's eyes suddenly widened in pure shock when she saw something appear in the footage. 

"G-girls!" She called all of their attention, making Rainbow Dash stop yelling sense to the traumatized captain.

She slowly raised her shaking hand, pointing at another unidentified sighting in the darkened skies. 

Her friends followed the direction in her hand, only for them to see another green beam in the skies. 

This time, it was brighter and bigger compared to the first sighting. The skies were now darkened as if a massive thunderstorm will go straight to equestrian. 

But this isn't a natural happening like the upcoming rain seen in the news. Instead, it was much darker which was unusually for all of the civilians living across the land. 

It was just a sighting that made everyone stop and look at it at first, but moments later, another phase occurred. 

" B O O M ! " 

A loud explosion blasted through the skies which released a green aura after the effect. 

Pinkie pie and her team screamed and gasp at the loud noise but luckily Fluttershy managed to keep the speaker down to avoid overloading the control pannel's energy usage. 

In the video, the ground was seen shaking as innocent civilians trip and tumble. Somewhere able to hold onto something stable while others fell down to the ground. 

According to the footage, Fluttershy managed to identify that none of the civilians near their laboratory got injured nor hurt. 

When suddenly, the green aura in the skies became brighter as its radiation draws in the eyes of thousands or maybe millions of civilians. 

The people started to run back to their homes while others forced their bravery to somehow get the mysterious green aura on video. 

"So T-that was the explosion we heard earlier.." Rarity stuttered, sounding scared. 

Before Applejack could even reply to her friend, her eyes suddenly went wide as soon as she saw something very disturbing in the desktop screen. 

"What is tha-" Pinkie pie was cut off when Applejack quickly covered her eyes, pulling her away from the screen. 

"DONT LOOK, PINKIE!" The cowgirl yelled with a broken voice after pulling Pinkie pie into a tight hug. "C-cover your eyes, sugarcube.." 

Pinkie tried pulling away from her cousin's grip to see whatever Applejack saw in the footage but her body was to weakened to push her away. 

"Why? W-What did you s-" Once again, Pinkie was interrupted before she could finish her sentence. 

But this time, non of her friends cut her words, instead, it was a blood-curling scream from the camera footage. 

The pink-haired teen's eyes widened as visible fear displaced in her face. After hearing that, she didn't bother to look. 

She then hugged her older cousin back, letting her own tears flow down her cheeks. Applejack sighed and patted Pinkie's back, whispering words of comfort in her ear. 

While the two teens comfort each other at the back, Captain Twilight managed to get a grip of herself when she heard another scream come from the footage. 

The captain parted away from Sunset's hug before rushing beside Rarity to take back her seat, adjusting her glasses to make her lens focus on the screen. 

But as soon as she saw what's happening in the video, her reaction turned into a terrified one. 

There they saw multiple people charge at the innocent civilians, tackling them to the ground before repeatedly scratching their skin till their fresh skin shows, making blood scatter around the floor. 

The 5 teens continued watching the tragedy happening in the saved video, still sharing the same shocked yet scared look. 

moments later into the disturbing scene, Twilight quickly pointed out her finger to the screen which caught her crewmate's attention. 

"Look!" She started after pointing at 2 people in the side. "Look closely.." 

One was down on the ground as the veins in his body started to pop up. not only that, blood started to come out of the poor man's eyes which made the girl with her freak out. 

"D-daddy! Dad, please get up!" The audio was clear enough for the girls to hear. 

The man proclaimed as the teen's father slowly lifted his shaking arm to point at the green aura in the skies. 

Her daughter followed her gaze to the aura above them, making her stop shaking her father and screaming. 

Suddenly, her focus was all into the green aura. She stopped crying and talking which made Twilight and her team stare in slight confusion. 

The girly unexpectedly stands up, still facing the bright unidentified phenomenon in the dark skies. 

"What is she doing?" Asked the Rainbow-haired teen. 

With that being asked, the girl in the footage suddenly let out a blood-curling scream as her body started to shake uncontrollably. 

Rainbow Dash and Applejack gasped at the girl's sudden changes. "Stop looking at the aura, goddamn it kid!" 

"Rainbow all of this happened minutes ago! It's clear she can't hear- Oh my God!" She shouted in pure shock. 

The teen in the video suddenly looked back and forth but she was facing the opposite way which avoids the girls letting it see her face. 

When suddenly, a car quickly drove right into a light post, causing another loud noise triggers the sound system. 

The teens watched the man driving the car get out of the driver's seat, he was all bloody and bruised. 

The cowgirl gritted her teeth and held her hat even tighter. "G-go help him!" 

"She can't hear you, Applejack! How dumb are you?!" 

"Oh shut yer trap!" 

And in that exact moment, all of them watch the poor girl charge at the injured man, tackling him back to the ground before he could run away. 

Watching the man getting torn apart limb by limb made Rarity ran away from the desktop, going to the corner to hold in her vomit. 

All of their eyes were wide opened as they watch the man get slaughtered by such a young girl. Blood started to scatter all over the streets while dozens of civilians ran in the same direction.

"No.." Fluttershy stammered out with a voice filled with fear and devastation. 

Twilight held in her tears from bursting out, "Why are they doing this, why is this happening?!" 

But before her crewmates could even reply, all of them heard a knock at the door which made Pinkie pie let out another loud scream out of fear.

"Girls, open up!" A voice yelled from outside. 

Sunset immediately grabbed an emergency ax in its container, breaking the glass cover first with her elbow. 

"Who's there?!" She asked while preparing her defensive stance. 

The knocking continued. 

"It's me, Soarin!"
