Okay, This story is a PlaTeran oneshot. The title and the story is based off a song called "Clićhe" by Mxmtoons; I really enjoy listening to her music and like- most of the time almost every song makes me think of ships like PlayTain, PlaTeran and GentleCheese so here we are!

•Player's POV
Today was the day.. The day I go to the Skeld. I was picked to become an astronaut for a space mission by NASA. I packed all my stuff with my sister, Dum. "Im so excited Brother! Could you imagine? going to Polus, MIRA HQ and even other planets. Are you excited?" Dum asks with excitement. "Of course im excited it's just- Im a little.. nervous.. that's all." I say to her. I was nervous.. I didn't know who would be there, I heard there would be 8 members and I heard most of them were boys. Im pretty soft unlike most boys so it's a bit nerve wracking for me, What if someone bullies me? I thought. "Oh.. I can relate to you for obvious reasons but you really gotta step forward and be brave, Player." Dum says reassuringly. After her reassurance, I felt better, better than before to say the least.. "Thank's Dum." I say to thank her. "You're welcome bro!" Dum says. Once we were done packing we left our house saying goodbye to our parents. Since I knew how to drive and had a driver's license I had to drive for us. Unfortunately I don't own a car so I instead had to use my dad's car in order to get to the Skeld. It takes about 1-2 hours to get there from our distance. While I drive Dum was calling her best friend, Gnome. I heard that her friend was also coming to the space mission with her boyfriend named Engineer. "So Gnome Gnome, Do you know who else is coming other than you two? are you guys there yet?" Dum asks Gnome. "You sure are excited Bestie! Well yeah I know some.. There's someone named Captain who is the leader im pretty sure.. And Stoner who is talking to this guy named Bro and uhh- yeah those are the people I know so far.. Also someone called me flat chested just before you called me-" Gnome says. "WOW- Who called you that?" Dum asks Gnome. "I don't know.. his name is Veteran? Yeah Veteran, Apparently he's like- one of the best astronauts? Like- Second to Mr. Cheese?" Gnome says. When I heard that I got even more nervous. One of the bestest astronauts? im gonna be with them? geez.. that's nerve wrecking.. "Woah.. That's so cool!" Dum says. After that conversation they had Dum decided to change the topic about their favorite bands and whatever they talk about.

•2 hours later..*+

We were here.. to the Skeld. It was very big and spacious looking, It almost felt like a mansion made out of pure metal. OMGG! THIS IS SO COOL!" Dum says with excitement. "Hehe.. yeah.." I say. "IM GOING IN FIRST! RACE YA!" Dum says competitively. "Hey! get back here!" I exclaim as I chase her. She (Dum) pulls out her Keycard which is used to get in the Skeld to open the giant door. Dum get's in with her luggage in hand. As she saw her friend Gnome she hugged her tightly. "N-NOT TOO TIGHT!" Gnome says while getting strangled by Dum's tight hug. "O-oops! Sorry... hehe.." Dum says. As I get in the Skeld with my luggage in hand, I tripped. Damn it Player! You're such a klutz! I thought. "Are you okay?" Someone says. I shot up to see who was talking to me to see a guy with blonde hair, forest green eyes with a crown on his head. He looks kinda cute.. his eyes and- I thought. wait what? what am I saying- something is definitely wrong with me today..I thought again."Uhm.. y-yes im okay.." I say nervously while grabbing his hand for support. He chuckles, "Alright then. So, what's your name? I'd really like to know more about you." He says. "Uhh.. My name is Player." I say to him nervously. "Player.. Alright! My name is Veteran." Veteran says with a small smile in his face. Wait.. isn't he one of the best astronauts Gnome was talking about?.. I thought. That thought made me feel more nervous to talk to him but at the same time I have to be brave and not be a nervous wreck, especially near someone as supreme as him. "So, do you know anything about the Skeld's entire mapping yet?" Veteran asks. "N-no.. I just came here with my sister Dum." I say. "Do you want me to show you around then?" Veteran asks. At first I was a bit hesitant but decided this should be a good opportunity to make friends with someone. "O-okay then!" I say excitedly. Veteran chuckles. "Okay then! Lets go!" Veteran says grabbing my hand. I blushed a bit from that sudden movement he did. Damn it Player you can't just fall in love with someone in first sight! That's just wrong, and weird. I thought.

•An Hour Later.. *+

It took us around an hour to look around the Skeld because of how big the ship was. The whole time he toured me around the ship he was also joking around which made me laugh a lot and made me feel much more comfortable to talk to him. Basically.. I had a lot of fun hanging out with him. "Aaand, that's the end of our tour Player!" Veteran says. "Thank's for showing me around Veteran." I say thanking him. A bit of silence occured afterwards.. Well, I guess i'll see ya later?" Veteran asks while scratching his head. "Of course!" I nod in agreement. "Alright then, see ya Player!" Veteran says while running away from me, waving. To be honest, I've never had fun with someone that much for a long time.. really makes you think. After a few minutes of standing there I decided to head to my room. I got a little lost at first since I was more focused on hanging out with someone the whole time than the tour itself but I managed to find my room after 20 mins later. I open the door using my keycard and ran straight to my bed, I didn't care if I haven't unpacked yet because I was tired, Very tired. I guess talking to someone really makes you tired, huh?

•1 Month Timeskip *+

(Player is at the cafeteria with his sister Dum during this)
It has been a month since i've been in the Skeld. We usually eat breakfast at 8 then do tasks around 9AM and end it around 5AM or so then we have dinner then free time for the rest of the night. Usually when it's freetime I hang out with Veteran, sometimes Captain would join but most of the time he would hang out with his Boyfriend, Stoner. To be honest im a little jealous about their relationship and everything I mean.. they look so happy. I also noticed 2 things about me recently.. I keep stuttering near Veteran for some reason? And I always feel warm around him?.. It's strange.. am I sick? I can't tell.. All these thoughts were in my head when- "Hey Bro!" Dum says. "O-oh! Hi Dum.." I say. "Uhh I noticed you've been staring at your food the whole time.. Are you not hungry?" Dum asks, probably wanting to eat my food. "Well.. No I- I guess im just.. thinking too much right now.." I say. "Hmmm? What 'ya thinkin' about Player?" Dum asks with curiousity. "Well.. I don't know.. It's just- Recently for some reason I keep on.. stuttering near Veteran and feeling warm near him? I don't know.. I think im sick." I say to Dum. She thinks for a moment, tilting her head and putting her hand in her face. "OHHH! Wow brother I didn't know you were gay!" Dum exclaims. That exclaim she said shook me and made me jump out of my seat a bit. "W- What?! Dum what are you talking about?!" I say wondering on why she thinks im gay. She giggles. "Neeheehee! Brother the reason why you're feeling these "strange feelings" is not because you're sick! It's because you love him! Dum says happily. That's impossible.. I can't- No.. Then again I did kinda fall for him when I met him.. Damn it. I thought. "I mean.. I guess you're right with that?" I say, confusion in my tone although I did know that I truly did love him.. "I'm absolutely right! And im making sure that you two will be together. I WILL." Dum says aggressively but in a jokingly way. "O-kay, calm down first will ya sis?" I say to calm her down, and for her to not think of an idea that might lead to something bad. "Okayy, But like- why don't you tell him you like him I mean.. I always see you talking to him 24/7, even more than when I talk to Gnome! You should definitely tell him!" Dum says  convincingly. Obviously I would like to do that but.. I can't risk it. Our friendship is very important to me, i'd rather just be friends with him than ruin our friendship. "I can't risk our friendship sis, I really can't." I said in a sad tone. "Player, as your younger sister I know for one that if he truly is your best friend he wouldn't just- stop being friends with you over something like that." Dum says trying to motivate me. "Yeah but.. even if we do still stay as friends wouldn't it be awkward afterwards? I mean.. who would wanna hang out with someone who just confessed they like you? Plus I don't even know if Veteran isn't straight or not." I say. "Well.. there was one time where I asked Gnome if he's straight or not before." Dum says. "Wait- why would you ask her that?" I asked. "Duh because I noticed you looked like a lovestruck idiot towards him at times." Dum says teasing me. "Woow, thanks sis." I say sarcastically. "Well anyway.. from what Gnome knows, she said that Veteran is actually Bisexual!" Dum says happily. That shocked me, he always looked straight to be honest.. Maybe I do have a chance. I thought. "Well I- he probably just sees me as a friend." I say. "Yep, you will confess and im not letting anything get in my way." Dum says ominously. "UHH- Okay Sis- I think you're going insane." I say jokingly. "Come on brother! Just try! Who knows? What if he does like you?" Dum says trying to motivate me more to confess, and it's working. I didn't want her to keep bothering me about this topic and I completely regret telling her anything now but.. she has a point. "Fine, how am I suppose to do it then? Ms. Matchmaker." I say to her in an annoying tone. "Welll.. why don't you confess to him at security? I heard that's where Mr. Egg confessed to Mr. Cheese last time." Dum says, planning the confession already. "Yeah, I know- I was there inside security-" I say to her in an irritated tone. "WELL THEN, YOU ALREADY KNOW YOUR NEXT STEP!" Dum says  yelling a bit. That caught me off guard and I think some of us didn't expect that neither. "Is everything okay over there?" Captain asks. "YEAH WERE FINE CAP!" Dum says standing up from her seat and answering Captain. "Okay!" Captain replies back. After Captain replied Dum she sat back down. "You can do it Player, I believe in you." Dum says, reassuring me. After that reassurance I knew, I had to at some point. "Alright, i'll do it." I say to her. She looks at me in happiness and hugs me tightly. "EEEEEK! IM EXCITED TO SEE THAT!" Dum says while strangling me. "O-Okay! Now can you uh- Ouch! Can you stop hugging me now?.. You're strangling me!" I say to her in annoying tone. "Oop- sorry!" Dum apologizes and stops hugging me. I sighed. Will this even work out? I thought.

•1 day timeskip.. *

•Veteran's POV

Today was odd, It was 1 AM and we were doing our tasks together in Reactor and Player kept on ignoring me? I don't know.. I asked him if we can hang out later and he didn't really respond. "Uhh Player are you okay?" I ask him. "O-oh! Yeah im okay.. I just uhh- need to do something real quick! Yeah.." Player says. "Oh, okay then?..." I say. Im doubting his reason a bit.. did I do something wrong? I thought. "OH AND UHH- MEET ME AT SECURITY LATER AT 5AM!" Player yells while running away from me to go to Electrical to do another task. "UH- OKAY I WILL!" I say agreeing to meet him at Security later.

•3 hours timeskip..*+ (Sorry for so many timeskips- my hands are dying-)

It was around 4AM and I was done with all my tasks, I haven't seen Player anywhere after the last conversation we had a few hours ago.. I didn't think much of it tho. Since I was an hour early I decided to head back to my room and fix myself up. I tried to tame my crazy blonde hair, sometimes Player would help me brush my hair cause I get irritated easily but hey, it was easy to tame it today. I changed to my casual clothing since usually after you finish your tasks you change to some more comfy clothing, right? After changing I decided to check the time. I grabbed my phone from my nightstand and checked the time. '4:30 PM' it says. I better hurry before im the one whose late. I thought. I went out of my room and started walking to security. It took around 25 minutes to make it there since everyone's rooms are far from security which includes my room. When I was walking there I was wondering.. Why does he want me to meet him in security? why did he leave me earlier?.. These thoughts were in my mind as I walk. Once I made it to security I see Player. "Hey Player!" I say, greeting him. "Hi Vet!" Player replies back. "Soooo, why did you want to meet me here?" I ask out of curiousity. "W-well..." Player says. Silence occured for a few seconds then..

He.. hugged me?.. "Uh- Player?" I ask him, confused. "Look Vet I- Just-" Player stutters out. "I like you.. more than a friend I suppose.. I gotta know, do you feel this way?" Player confesses. He.. Likes me?..I thought. I can hear his nervousness as he confessed to me, I can tell that if I reject him.. it's all over. good thing i've always had a secret crush on him too. "Yeah I do, but I was.. scared of what you might say.." I say, confessing my feelings for him back. Player was surprised, he had one of the cutest and purest smiles i've ever seen someone do. "R-really?" Player asks to be confirmed that I liked him back. "Always did." I say, reassuring him im not lying. The next thing you know.. I see Dum behind him and she- pushed him?! "NOW GO KISS!" Dum yells. "AAAAAAAHH!-" Player screams. I caught him in time tho. "Got you! I got you." I say to him. Once he finally got the balance he lost he decided to.. Kiss me. I closed my eyes and he does too, it almost felt like a dream if I have to be honest. "YESS! WE DID IT! GUYS COME OUT!" Dum says. As Dum says that almost every crewmate I know except Bro, Ninja and Stoner were there to witness this whole thing crashing down. "YESS! WE DID IT-" Mr. Cheese says. "YEP! FINALLY- ENGI EVEN GOT TO RECORD ITT!!" Gbome says, excitement in her voice. Me and Player decided to stop after a few seconds and we started laughing from everyone suddenly being there. "Damn it Gnome!" Player says getting angry that Engineer and Gnome recorded the whole thing. I chuckle a bit from his cuteness. "Calm down Play-Play! At least you get to watch it unfold again!" I say so he can calm down. "Fine! but only cause you said so." Player says in a cutesy style way. "So, do we feast after this? Im getting hungry-" Captain says. "Yes we will, let's go Mr. Cheese." Mr. Egg says, inviting Mr. Cheese to go to the Kitchen with him. "Okay! see you guys! Oh and- Don't forget to make out soon~" Mr. Cheese says. "MR. CHEESE!" I yell out. Everyone laughs at me for it.

What a clićhe way to fall in love with someone. I thought.
