~Katsuki's POV~

I watched the first part of the first day of the Grand Magic Games. Sabertooth- of course- won because we had Rufus on our side. Fairy Tail ended up dead last. better luck next time guys.. I thought. I didn't say anything out loud. I'd get in trouble if I did. 

"Easy victory." Sting remarks. 

"No duh!" I reply. "We always do. That reward will be ours once again!" I smirk.

"Next is our first battle of the day!" The announcer says. "Flare from Raven Tail and Lucy Heartfilia from Fairy Tail!" 

The two girls go out into the arena. One of them, Flare had an unsettling look in her eyes. 

"I don't like that look in Flare's eyes....." I say out loud. 

"Hm? What do you mean?" Sting asks. 

"I'd recognise that look from anywhere....." I reply, "the look of complete insanity."

I had encountered someone like Flare before. They had almost killed me. That's when I first met Natsu from Fairy Tail

Flashback;

I was walking down the road of Magnolia trying to find the Fairy Tail Guild Hall when I accidentally bumped into this guy. 

"I'm sorry, sir." I said. "I wasn't watching where I was going and-" 

I'm cut off as he raises his head.

He had a crazed look in his eyes. One that I knew I would never forget. 

"Well...aren't you a pretty sight" he grinned. "Wanna come home with me darling?"

"Hey!" A voice yells. "Leave the girl alone!" 

i turn to see a guy with bright pink hair and flames in his hands. 

"What if I don't?" The other guy asks, stupidly. 

"I'll punch your lights out." The pinkett replies in a growl. 

the man backed away from me, and ran. 

pinkett's flames died out and he walked up to me with a wide grin on his face. 

"Hey!" He says. "I'm Natsu. What's your name?" 

"Call me Nightwing." I reply. 

"Is that seriously your name?"

"It's an alias."

"An alien?" He looks genuinely confused.

"No. Alias. A fake name."

"Oooohhh so why don't you just give me your real one?"

"I only give my real name to the people I have judged to be trustworthy to be given my name and to not spread it around." 

"Well, I'll show you that you can trust Fairy Tail!" He grins again. 

"Would your Master even let me join?"

"Of course! We're always looking for new people to join our family!"

"Let the match begin!" The announcer says loudly, breaking me out of my thoughts. I sigh.

I'm secretly rooting for Lucy. From what I could tell, she'd need it.

The match started off well. Lucy had the upper hand for a while, but slowly lost it as Flare beat her to a pulp. At one point, she had her strung up by the hands and feet with her hair as she lashed it over and over on Lucy. She then was able to get free and use one of her keys to use a special attack she had. Before it could make an impact however, Lucy's power died out and Flare started beating on her again. 

"The winner is Flare!" The announcer yells excitedly. "Lucy Heartfilia is no longer able to fight!" 

I stared in amazement, and a little horror. 

she beat Luce to a pulp! Mental note, don't ever take Flare on. E. V. E. R.
