Long Forgotten History

Ink smirked evilly as Gaster explained his plan. “Using Vediovous to get Error to do what we want...Gaster your such a genius!” Ink's eyes both turned to stars as he looked up at Gaster. He was still quite short. “But how should we get to Vediovous? I mean, after all, Classic is with them now….so he probably won't lower his guard...even in the night…” Ink hummed, thinking of ways to get Vediovous as Gaster got a computer out and brought up Vediovous and Errors locations, having a tracking chip in both of their skulls.

Gaster suddenly smirked. “Hmm...perhaps we could ask your mother for help?” he turned to Ink, his smirk growing sharper. Ink looked up at Gaster for a moment, before nodding as he took out his cell phone and called Fate up.

“Hey, mom? Yeah, we need help capturing Vediovou-” Fate teleported in front of them. “Say no more boys~” she purred, before teleporting away with an evil cackle.

Ink and Gaster looked over at each other before shrugging.

Fate snickered and smirked as she appeared in the woods by the cabin where Classic and the glitches were staying. How did she know where they would be? Well Vediovous is the one who built the cabin, he built it all by himself and he had spent most if not all of his life in said ancient cabin, if he was going to be anywhere, it was here.

Fate watched creepily as Vediovous came outside after a few minutes to water some flowers he had in a garden out front. She watched her brother as he began to hum a soft tune while watering some roses and marigolds that he had at the outside of the old cabin, it made the cabin look younger than it was and added a nice calmness to the atmosphere.

After around three minutes of Vediovous watering flowers, he decided to head back inside and thats when Fate struck. She lunged forward and tackled her brother down, covering his mouth with a sock-covered in sleeping gas.

She smirked as her brother went limp under her, the gas kicking in and making him sleep like it was supposed to. She slung Vediovous over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes as she walked away from the cabin and through a portal she had made.

Once through the portal, she threw Vediovous onto the floor in front of Ink and Gaster. Gaster didn’t really notice, as he was working, but Ink just stared down at the unconscious skeleton in curiosity. “So this is Errors mom huh?” he hummed as Fate nodded, closing the portal behind her.

“Yep, one of my youngest brothers and the only glitch in the family” she scoffed and crossed her arms in disgust. Ink looked down. He always wanted to know what a glitch was, he wanted to know if it was a type of monster of race or culture, but whenever he tried to ask his mother about it she would glare at him.

She took Vediovous by the ankle and dragged him to some of the back rooms for torture or trapping.

Gaster hummed as he turned in his swivel chair to face Ink. “so you want to know what a glitch is huh?” Inks eyes widened. “H-how did you-” “Sans once asked me after seeing a picture of Vediovous on my wall, even though he doesn’t remember asking me, i can just tell” Gaster smiled as Ink looked up at him with starry eyes. ‘Just like Emora when he was young...always wanting to learn more about science…’ he thought fondly.

Ink nodded vigorously. “Yes please!” he chirped in excitement, making Gaster chuckle. “Alright then….”

(remember this is my own headcanon for a glitch if you have a different opinion or idea that is completely fine, this is just my personal headcanon)

“The glitches were once a powerful race of monster...yet also very unique. They had untold and untouched power within them, being more powerful than even the kings and queens of their time. Along with their power, also came their looks. Glitches were much different than normal monsters and humans. they usually had darker skin, bones, scales or fur, with brightly colored eyes and glitches on their body...they were ridiculed for this, which led to them engaging the humans and other monsters in a war.

The war lasted for years, and the longer the glitches fought for their rights, the more they were killed. Eventually, the day came when all the glitches but one had been whipped out. Now I don't know the specifics, but I do know that a human had married a glitch skeleton monster and lost him due to the war. The last remaining glitch was the child they were due to have”

Ink interrupted. “How do you know all of this Gaster?” he asked, tilting his head. Gaster hummed with a slight smile. “I wasn’t always mean to Vediovous...he's the one who told me this story after I had asked...after all that unborn child was his father” he raised a hand up before Ink could talk. “Now let me contiue,” he said.

“The widowed mother and her unborn child ran off in search of a new home, but glitches were whipped out all across the world! She ended up settling down deep within the forest of the Original AU and there she lived until her son was born.

Satan, originally known as Serafine, was the child born from the lady.

Satan, as most people know, took over as ruler of the underworld after the last ruler died, where he was forced to marry Mother Nature, Fates mother.”

Gaster sighed, rubbing the back of his neck as Ink gaped up at him.

“At first, Mother Nature thought she would be lucky, as none of her and Satans children had been glitches, until Vediovous…

After Satan died from cancer when Vediovous was five, Mother Nature sold him off to me, not caring what I did with him as she didn't want him as a son at all, for she did not want any glitches in her family.

I took care of Vediovous for years, he was like a son to me...but..Mother Nature, angry that I had not killed her only glitch of a son, took away my emotions as a punishment”

Ink gasped, covering his mouth with his hands, but kept listening.

“After that..well...you basically know the rest...i tortured Vediovous for years and bla bla bla...but...what you dont know, is that Error wasn’t always a glitch”

Ink just stared up at Gaster, dumbfounded. Gaster laughed a bit and nodded. “Yes...there was a time when he wasn’t always a glitch…

You see Ink, most glitches arent born as glitches, they have the power and the DNA deep inside them, but not the looks, only very, very few glitches are born already having their DNA out. When a glitch loses someone extremely important in their lives or when something horrible happens, their code shifts and turns itself inside out, which turns them into a glitch. Now, back to Error.

Error was an accident, as Vediovous, common for most glitches, only had a 1% chance of pregnancy after sex, so Error wasn’t planned at all.

When I first held Error, I loved him, he was my son, after all, my first son. Then, much like Mother Nature, once I figured out Error was a glitch like his mother, I cast him down...he was worthless to me now...so i experimented on him like I did his mother until Fate came and took him away….”

“So now you know..” Gaster and Ink both snapped their heads over to look at Fate who was glaring at them with her arms crossed.

“That im the reason for Error being evil
