Chapter 7 (FINALE)

It had been 3 moons since goldpelt had first spoke to his mother. He's gone to the moonstone every full moon but starclan had been silent. He was losing hope. Blueheart was getting concerned about his boyfriend's behaviour. Goldpelt has continuously getting more and more agitated and restless. He often got in heated arguments with Arcticlaw and Greenpelt. But something happened that almost left him joining Starclan.

It was sun-high and BladeClan was...well just relaxing. All cats had been well-fed and were sunning themselves all over camp. But that was soon Short lived as a loud shriek Echoed from the nursery. "Uhhhh guys?! Somehow, someway blackfur is having.....k-kits?!" Yellownose yelled. Dapple eye let out a yelp of surprise and scrambled out of his den, carrying the kitting herbs he would usually use on She-cats. But this time it was a Tomcat kitting....anyway, As he reached the nursery, Greenpelt was already there. His fur was standing on end, so he looked twice his size. Dapple eye's eyes filled with sympathy for the green-furred tom as he walked into the nursery. "He'll be okay Greenpelt, don't worry!" "....I hope you right Dapple eye, at least he's in good paws.." he whispered back to Dapple eye. A sudden shriek broke the tender moment. Dapple eye bolted into the nursery. A Couple of screeches, yelps and groans later he returned, smelling heavily of blood. "So is he alright?!" Greenpelt snapped. Dapple eye smiled, his tail kinked up with happiness. "He'll be alright Greenpelt, and so will your 3 beautiful kits!" Greenpelt chocked in surprise. "Three?!" He meowed in shock. "Yep! 3 perfectly healthy kits. Two she-kits and one Tom." Dapple eye responded, kindness shining in his eyes. Goldpelt had heard all the noise and headed out of the Warriors' cave to see what was happening. He yawned and bent down for a luxurious stretch. "Is everything alright? I heard yelling." He asked when he reached to the two toms. "Ya ya everything's fine! Go away goldpelt, you're not needed here!" Greenpelt snapped. He didn't mean it to come out like that, he was just mad at him. Why, because goldpelt Accidentally startled him when he was hunting. Causing Greenpelt to lose a particularly tasty looking fat shrew. But goldpelt did not take it lightly as his eyes narrowed and his lips curled up in a snarl, his ears flattening to his head. "You dare talk like that to me, you peace of fox dung!"  He spat, his fur rising in fury. Goldpelt unsheathed his thorn-sharp claws and dug then into the ground. Greenpelt's eyes widened in surprise and his hackles rose. "You dare talk to your deputy like that?!" He snapped back. Goldpelt leaped at the green-furred Tom, letting out a loud challenging Caterwaul. The sudden action surprised Greenpelt, enough to let the Golden warrior knock him over. He snorted and drove his hind legs into goldpelt belly, using his claws to batter at his ears. Goldpelt let out a fearsome screech and bit down hard on the other warrior's tail-tip. Spinning himself around, goldpelt jumped up, then darted Swiftly around his deputy, scoring his claws down his side. Sticky red liquid oozed out from the new wounds, inbeding itself in between the golden warriors claws, as well as green fur. The sounds of battle had alerted the rest of the clan, Bladestar was shocked when she saw her top warrior and her deputy locked in combat.

Dapple eye hurriedly gathered up herbs, marigold, for infected wounds And of corse, cobwebs, to stop bleeding. from the aftermath of their battle. Greenpelt landed a blow at the other warriors eyes, more blood pooling out of them. Dapple eye hoped he didn't have to deal with a missing eye as well. In his rage-powered frenzy, Greenpelt had not noticed how much he had hurt the younger warrior. A long gash ran along the side of goldpelt's throat, bleeding heavily. Along with that, his eyes had been badly damaged as well. Goldpelts forearm was twisted in a awkward angle, most likely broken in several spots. Greenpelt sniffed, his paw raised above the Warriors head, ready to make the killing blow. But before he could do so, a loud wail of fear rose above the sounds of the battle. It was Blueheart, standing beside his leader, shaking with fear. "Why...." was the only thing he could say. "Both of you, get your behinds straight to Dapple eye's den, after you will be disciplined, Go now." Bladestar ordered. Greenpelt stalked of, muttering something. But goldpelt did not move. Only the very faint rise and fall of his blood-matted chest made sure he was alive.

"Wh-where am I?" Goldpelt whispered. A shining warrior of Starclan appeared in front of him. "Greetings, Goldpelt. We have waited a long time to meet you." The brown tabby Tom said. "Wha-No! I-I can't join starclan yet!! So....much...I haven't done.....yet...." goldpelt protested, slowly finding out how exhausted he was. ".....Greenpelt,......fight.......,need to,.........win..." "peace dear warrior, I will allow you to go back to the waking world, but I'm afraid my clanmates will not approve of my choice." He whispered, the tabby toms voice was soothing to goldpelt. "For now, rest golden warrior. You will be fine, for Starclan is with you...."

Bladestar padded up to the Motionless warrior. Blueheart followed. He sat in front of him, his eyes glazed over with sadness. "He has gone to join the ranks of starclan now..." Bladestar mewed solemnly. "No...not goldpelt,he's...he's a strong warrior!" Blueheart meowed angrily. "Wait....he's not dead!!" Dapple eye said. "Look."
Goldpelt had shifted into an odd looking ball, his broken arm sticking out. He breathed a sigh of peace and started to purr slightly. Blueheart nearly screamed in joy, while Bladestar looked appalled. She sighed in relief, "he's sleeping..." she breathed. Dapple eye quickly got to work on the sleeping warrior. Treating his wounds with cobwebs, marigold, Watermint just in case his stomach hurt when he woke up, Poppyseeds ready for when he wakes up, and something else for his broken arm. "He'll be fine, I'm worried about his arm though. I'll need to splint it." He said. Bladestar smiled and nodded, Deciding not to wake the peaceful warrior. She turned to her deputy, who was laying in the medicine cat's den, Sniffing warily at the poltuse on his side. "As for you...you now have privileged yourself to a moon of collecting moss and bedding." Bladestar snorted. "WHAT?! My mate, kits!!" Greenpelt yelped back. "I do not care, Blackfur and your kits will be fine, Dapple eye has already given him herbs to help. As soon as you're flank has healed enough for you to be up and ready again, you will start." Bladestar meowed, heading into her den. "...Oh and before you get any ideas, you are still deputy yes, But for now,....Arcticlaw, will you take up his deputy duties?" The light blue warrior, Who had been avoiding the clan lately, Was startled by the sudden Announcement. "Huh?" "Great! Thanks Arcticlaw, you can start first thing tomorrow!" Bladestar mewed, Waving her tail in a dismal manner, Signalling the meeting over.

(if you can't remember goldpelt is free's cat counterpart Btw)
Goldpelt blinked, the sharp sent of medicine herbs wafted around him. "Hey....you good? You got yourself into a pretty nasty fight there goldpelt." Dapple eye quietly mewed. "Mhmm" was what goldpelt had managed to get out. "Can I go back to sleep now?" He asked. "Hehe sure, I'll tend to Greenpelt over there." Dapple eye responded.
As goldpelt drifted off into another deep sleep, he's dreams were....weird. He dreamed that he was in a twoleg nest, but this wasn't like the twoleg nests that he had seen around the territory, this one was bigger, way bigger. It was a light blue and beige colour, there were lots of long parts to it, probably hallways. Goldpelt ended up in a big empty area with lots of twolegs around. They were throwing some sort of round thing into a big hole in the ground. There was a catch though, goldpelt could actually understand the twolegs. "3!....2!....1! Let it rip!" One of them yelled. A blue-haired twoleg. His hair is the same shade as Blueheart's fur! Goldpelt realized with a jolt. As he looked around, His eyes landed on another boy. He looked terrifyingly like goldpelt himself. Same yellow hair, same dull black eyes. He had a red Streak running through the middle of his hair though. The boys eyes caught goldpelts, and he beckoned him over with a odd finger movement. Goldpelt  cautiously padded over to the boy, his ears pricked up for anything unusual. He froze a fox-length from him. The yellow-haired boy half smiled. "You're goldpelt I Presume?" He asked. Goldpelt blinked, his voice was oddly....bored. Monotone even. "Uhmm ya. You are?..." the boys eyes narrowed as he looked down at the Warrior in front of him. Goldpelt almost shrank beneath his gaze. But the yellow-haired boys gaze softened, and he looked back up at the other twolegs. "Free." He said. His eyes slowly closed and he continued: "Free de Le Hoya." Goldpelt blinked again. "Free. I like that name!" He meowed back, letting a purr rumble out. Free smiled, "thanks." He said sheepishly. He turned back to the cat in front of him, this time seriousness echoed in his voice. "Meet me behind this building at midnight. Moonhigh in your terms. You're camp is not far from this place. If you look west, you'll see it. Don't be late, we'll talk more then." Free whispered. He gave a small wave before goldpelt woke up.
The golden warrior blinked, Confused about his dream, he looked up at the sky, swirling with shades of deep pink, dark blue and black, it was dusk. He still had time to find the "building" Free was talking about. He walked out of the Warriors cave, and into the clearing. Goldpelt padded quietly to the entrance of the camp. He brushed past the Brambles, but a sharp hiss stopped him abruptly. "Oh it's just you goldpelt, you nearly scared me out of my fur!" Redstorm sighed, adding: "what brings you out here in the middle of the night?" He asked. Goldpelt looked for a believable excuse. "I...umm I'm going hunting, preys good at this time, I also need some time to clear my head." He whispered back, praying to Starclan that redstorm didn't question his choices. And to his relief, he didn't ask any further. Redstorm's eyes rounded with understanding. "Alright, off you go then!" He said, shaking his head. "I'm not gonna stop you if that's what you're thinking." Goldpelt breathed a sigh of relief. "Thanks"
He wandered in the semi-darkness for what seemed like hours. When goldpelt finally felt like his paws were going to fall of, he saw a huge twoleg nest, beige and blue, exactly like what it looked like in his dream. His eyes, which were dull with exhaustion, were now as bright as the sun. He pelted through the rest of the trees, paws skidding on loose leaves. A quiet twig snap made him freeze. Goldpelt's head whipped around, his tail thrashing slightly, glowing eyes scanning the area. His eyes meet another pair identical to his own. Suddenly a twoleg stepped out of the darkness, or rather melted out of it. Free. Free blinked, slowly squatting down and held out his hand. Goldpelt shifted on his paws, deciding whether to trust him or not. "I'm not going to hurt you Goldpelt." Free whispered, and goldpelt was startled to say the least, he had forgotten that free could speak cat. Or rather he could speak twoleg? "Why did you call me here?" He mewed padding over to him. Sitting quietly in front of Free, Goldpelt looked up to face him. "I've brought you here because I thought it was time for you to know something." "And that is?" "Goldpelt, My friends and I, are exactly like you and BladeClan." Goldpelt scoffed. "How exactly?" He questioned. Free give a wide smile, "follow me." He said, getting up and gesturing for goldpelt to follow him. The two walked around the building and through the big doors, goldpelt blinked, looking at the other twolegs. "Ok explain." He said, his tail twitching irritably. Free pointed to the blue-haired twoleg. "That's valt." He paused. "My Blueheart." He whispered. Next he pointed to the green-haired twoleg, then the black-haired one, and finally the yellow-haired one. "That's Silas, Cuza and Rantaro." He said as his finger landed on each of them. "They kinda do look like my friends. But how are they alike?" Goldpelt meowed, licking his chest fur nervously. "Goldpelt, you and BladeClan are our cat counterparts. BC sol and BladeClan are intertwined." Free said, his voice rising as he got happier. Goldpelt purred, and snuggled
into free's lap, not minding how his hand went down to scratch behind his ears.
For the next couple of moons,Goldpelt visited BC sol, observing the other twolegs. He loved knowing that they were like clanmates to him and the rest of his clan. BladeClan never knew about their blading twoleg counterparts, And the rest of BC sol never knew about their clancat counterparts. Goldpelt and free never said anything about their Secret meetings. And planed to keep it that way. That was until a pair of glowing amber eyes pearced through the trees. Glasstar snarled, thrashing his tail. Theodore glass stepped out of the shadows to stand beside the tortoiseshell Tom. "Glasstar, you have failed me." He spat at the big cat beside him. Glasstar flinched. "I'm sorry Theodore, it will not happen again." He Growled. "If you don't destroy BladeClan this time, I will have you stuffed and you're clan killed."
