After about 5 minutes of flying, Luz and Eda arrived at Blight Manor with the witch flying them right in front of the door.

"So this is your little friend's home? Not bad, pretty ritzy." Eda commented as she looked around.

Luz didn't reply as she was still worried about Amity and knocked on the door with homes she would be the one to answer it. The duo waited for a few moments before Luz got impatient and knocked again but a bit longer. Too bad for her the door was opened but instead of Amity, it was Edric that opened it which lead to him getting knocked on the forehead.

"Ah!" he let out from the sudden knock and rubbed his forehead while Eda laughed.

"Oh, sorry sorry, Edric! I didn't mean to hit you on the head." Luz apologized as he looked up to her. "I just wanted to check on Amity to make sure she's alright. Is she home?"

"Yeah, she's in her room. Been there since we got home." Edric said before looking to Eda, who stopped laughing. "and you're here because..."

"The kid asked me here for moral support. She told me about the fight her friend got in." Eda said, half lying to Edric.

"Well, alright. Her room is up the stairs, down the right hallway and the second door on the right." Edric said as he let them in.

When Luz and Eda got to the door to Amity's room, Luz wanted to knock but she couldn't do it. Her worries made her too frazzled about her friend and just opened the door quietly, walking inside to see Amity sitting on the windowsill and glaring out the window in thought. Luz could see the bags under her eyes getting worse and the need to help her only grew more. She walked carefully up to Amity and wrapped her arms around in a gently hug, scaring the young witch as she turned to see who it was and calmed down when she saw it was Luz.

"Luz?" Amity asked as Luz nodded her, breaking the hug. "Wh-Why are you here? And why is your teacher with you?"

"I'm here because I was worried about you, what happened at school was completely unlike you and it really scared me." Luz said as she gestured to Eda. "So, I told Eda about it, about how something about you past was bothering you, so she came along with me to see if she could help you."

"Help me?" Amity asked as she turned to Eda, stepping away from her windowsill. "How could you help?"

"That's right, kid. I know a spell that could let me into your mind with you coming with me, we can dive into your memories and find the memory that's been bugging you." Eda said as she twirled her staff and put it over her shoulders. "Easy peasy."

"Easy?" Amity asked with a bit of worry, not exactly sure about this spell.

Even when Lilith gave her lessons on these types of spells, they just didn't sit well with Amity. It just felt like a giant invasion of privacy, it made her skin crawl. Luz picked up on her unease and tried to ease her worries with a shoulder rub.

"Hey, everything is going to be fine. Eda's not gonna do anything bad in your head, she just wants to help." Luz said as Amity felt her worries slowly melt away.

The young witch took a few deep breathes to further calm herself before walking to her bed, sitting down and nodding to Eda.

"I'm ready." Amity softly said to the owl lady as Luz sat next to her, holding her hand in support and closing her eyes.

Eda nodded back before she approached Amity, bending her knees to be at her eye level. She drew a spell circle on Amity's forehead, readying the spell before she closed her eyes and placed their foreheads together. The spell glowed between them before it suddenly started wavering and sparkling out of control before it blew up between them forcing Amity and Luz to launch off the former's bed while Eda was launched to the other side of the room to the wall. The trio groaned from the blast before they all got up and looked at each other.

"Was that suppose to happen, Eda?" Luz asked her as she rubbed her eyes from the flash.

"No, it wasn't kid." Eda said as she rubbed her forehead. "I know I did that spell right, so what could've caused that backlash?"

"I'm not sure, you appeared to have done the spell properly but something went wrong with it." Amity said as she rubbed her forehead as well.

"Hmm, maybe it's because you're sleep deprived. Luz did mention you hadn't slept, maybe that could be the problem." Eda said as she walked up to them.

"Or maybe you didn't do it right." Amity mumbled under her breath.

"What was that?" Eda asked as she looked at Amity. ""I didn't do it right?" Kid, I may not be in your precious coven but I know when a spell is suppose to work!"

"Well your appearance doesn't give the best confidence of a witch who knows what she is doing." Amity snarked as she crossed her arms.

"Oh that's where your wrong, I've had all these spells when you weren't born yet, same with this curse I've had since I was your age, so you better respect that!" Eda said as she pressed her forehead against Amity's forehead.

"Yeah, I'm gonna stay out of this argument" Luz said as she went behind Amity.

"Your just mad because you couldn't find the right man to have a family" what Amity said just made Eda more mad.

"I'll have you know I couldn't find one because they always find me! now come here, we're trying again!" but when Eda grabbed Amity by the ponytail Amity kicked Eda under the chin causing her to let go and off the side of the bed.

"Amity! What's gotten into you!?" Luz said as she wrapped her arms around Amity to hold her in place only to get hit on the forehead by the back of Amity's head causing her to walk backwards and hold her head then looked at Amity with a hurt look.

Feeling frustration from the failed spell and failed attempt to helped her, Amity did the same to Luz as she did to Boscha at school. She began throwing wild punches that Luz did her best to dodge or block, Luz didn't want to fight Amity. She just wanted to help, but it still lead to this and her words wouldn't reach her. Back with Eda, she got up while rubbing her chin in pain to see her student at the mercy of the enraged Blight.

"Hey, what are you doing to my student?!" Eda shouted as she got up and behind Amity, holding her up by her stomach. "You need to calm down!"

"GRR!" Amity growled at Eda before she rapidly kicked her stomach, causing her to drop Amity and hold it.

'UH! That hurt like heck! But...' Eda thought as she saw Amity glaring down at her. 'it feels familiar.'

Before anything else could be done, the door to Amity's room was open to reveal Edric and Emira with panicked expressions from the commotion they heard.

"What the heck is going on in here?!" Emira asked as she saw Amity angry, Luz holding her arms in pain, and Eda slowly getting off the ground while clutching her stomach. "What happened to you two?!"

"Well, first we came to see if Amity is alright and then Eda tried to help her with a memory spell." Luz said as she put her still hurting arms down.

"Memory spell?!" the twins said as they looked at each other, their panic slowly becoming anger as they turned back to Luz and Eda.

"You two need to go." Edric suddenly said as he and Emira walked in and grabbed Eda and Luz to escort them out.

"Wait! Why?! We were just trying to help her but something went wrong and it didn't work!" Luz tried to convince them as they were pulled down the steps.

"That's because we put the spell on her to prevent mental magic from getting in!" Edric said as he and Emira reached the door. "What you're trying to do is family business, so stay out of it!"

"But..." Luz tried to say before Emira cut her off.

"But nothing!" she said as she kicked open the door and pushed Eda out while Edric did the same with Luz.

Eda was able to stay on her feet but Luz was sent to the ground, dirt getting on her face and injuring her already slightly bruised arms. As the twins shut the door and locked it, a now calm, and regretful for what she did, Amity watched them from the staircase and heard what they told Luz and Eda.

'They-They put a spell on me? To make sure Eda's spell didn't work?!' she thought as she quickly returned to her room, slowly closing the door behind her before sliding down to the ground. 'Why? When?! WHAT IS SO SECRET THAT THEY HAD TO VIOLATE MY MIND TO KEEP IT HIDDEN?!'

As she stay on the ground, Amity silently cried as this secret to her past was tearing her apart after just ONE DAY! If she didn't find answers, it is going to destroy her! And now, she couldn't even trust her family to help if they even wanted to!
