Deciding that she should return Amity to the other person she likes, Eda set her down next to Luz before she heads upstairs.

"I'm gonna head upstairs and grab one of my elixirs. I know they might not work but I'm running out of ideas. Maybe the solution we least expect will give at least some results." Eda said as Luz nodded to her.

"Okay, Eda." Luz said as Amity curled back up to her, lovingly purring in her embrace.

"This is still weird, right?" Gus whispered to Willow.

"So weird." Willow whispered back.

Meanwhile with Eda, she has made it to her room and began searching for one of her elixirs. Her supply was running a little short, so she bought some just last week but sometimes forgot where she put them. A side effect of old age or accelerated age thanks to her own curse.

'I should really make a note or something.' Eda thought as she searched her closet but found a chest of empty bottles. 'And I need to clean up these empty bottles. I can use them later but they're just in the way right now.'

Continuing her search, Eda checked under dirty clothes, fresh clothes, and even her own nest bed before she found two full bottles inside of a small pile of snails in her nest.

"Bingo!" Eda said as she grabbed both elixirs and put one in her hair. "One for Amity and one to keep for later."

Turning to leave, Eda exited her room while shutting the doors behind her and headed back downstairs to see Amity still curled up to Luz's side as Luz rubbed her back.

'If this girl isn't love sick, then the curse is taking a deeper effect.' Eda thought before setting the bottle down on the table, surprising everyone as they turned to her.

"Alright, now we just need to get her to drink it and see if it works." Eda said as she stepped back. "Now we just have to find a way for her to do it."

But before anyone could reply, Amity moved from Luz's lap and kneeled before the elixir with curious eyes.

"Meow?" She let out as she tilted her head to the bottle, sniffing it a bit before moving her head back.

The glow of the elixir seemed to gain her attention as the liquid sat calmly inside. She reached for it slowly, making everyone wonder if she was going to pick it up herself and drink it.

'I guess we don't need to find a way after all.' Eda thought be before Amity suddenly batted it with her hand. 'Huh?'

"Meow." Amity meowed again as she batted it back, beginning to play with it like a ball as she followed the glowing and swishing liquid with her eyes.

"Well this is new." Willow said with wide eyes.

"She's playing with it like it's a ball." Gus said as he reached to pulled out his scroll before Willow stopped him.

"Don't." Willow said without looking at him.

The game of "ball" continued for another minute before Luz grabbed the elixir and pulled it from the table.

"Reow?" Amity let out as she looked up to Luz, tilting her head.

"As cute this is, Amity is going to be drinking it any time soon without help. I'll be back with a bowl." Luz said as she walked off to the kitchen before looking to Amity, who was following her in all fours. "Amity, can you stay there for me? Please?"

Looking into her eyes, Amity saw Luz give concern for her and nodded to her. So she sat and waited as Luz disappeared into the kitchen for a minute before she came back with a bowl in her other hand.

"This is how we get our pets, which Amity is not, to drink back home." Luz said as she placed the bowl on the table, which was full of cream, before she poured the elixir into it to mix. "You mix it with something they like to hide it."

Once the bottle was empty, Luz grabbed the bowl of cream and elixir before she put it on the floor for Amity. The cat girl looked it over and gazed into the reflective mix, which was mostly white but it has a small glow to it. Sniffing it, Amity thought it smelled delicious and began to lap it up, the cream worked perfectly to block the taste of the elixir as everyone watched her drink it.

"Awww!" Luz said, finding kitty Amity so cute right now.

"Yes! It worked!" King cheered with his first up.

"Fingers crossed though." Eda said as she crossed her fingers, hoping her elixir would work on Amity.

'But...why does this seem familiar?' Eda thought as her mind felt fuzzy again before she shook it off.

After a few minutes, Amity was done and even licks the bowl clean. Luz leaned down next to Amity and looked at her as the green haired girl gazed into her eyes.

'Please work, please work.' Luz thought before Amity moved her head into the crook of Luz's neck.

"Prrrr." She purred as she enjoyed her embrace again.

"Oooooh!" Everyone groaned as she was still acting like a cat.

"That should've worked, right?" Gus asked Eda.

"I should've but I still had my doubts about it." Eda said as she went to Luz and Amity, kneeling before them. "That elixir was made to fight my owl curse but I had hoped it could fight other curses too."

"Do you think Morton has something like that or could make it?" Luz asked for Eda's elixir guy, most loyal ally of Eda for years now.

"Maybe but still, we could still find a way to cure her before going to Morton. I'm still a potionist, I'm sure I can whip something up." Eda said as Amity began to nuzzle against her again, finding her embrace as good as Luz's. "Hehehe, I still don't know how she's so affectionate around me but it's kind of adorable."

Deciding to give Amity some scratches, Eda moved her hand under her chin and gently scratch her. Amity purred from the scratching before she suddenly stopped and blinked a few times before she shook her head. Suddenly, the green fur in her ears receded, her eyes returned to round pupils, and her nails shortened back to normal but the tail stayed as Amity stopped shaking.

"Wh-What happened?" Amity asked as her teeth turned back to normal as well.

'She's back from a scratch on the chin?!' Everyone thought as Eda rose up with Luz and Amity following.

"Kid, what's the last thing your remember?" Eda asked her.

"I think it was you catching me from somehow ending up on the ceiling and you catching me. What? Did something happen afterwards?" Amity asked with worry.

"Nothing bad happened. It's fine, just...I think we found a way to change you back if you get a little "catty."" Eda said with a smile to Amity.
