After a long and relaxing bath, Amity had changed into a purple nightgown that reached her knees and returned to bed. She was somehow not wide awake after a ten hour nap but Amity didn't want to think about it as she got back under her covers to sleep once more. As the youngest Blight slept in her bed, slowly shifting from a normal position to an abnormal position, the small numb on her lower back continued to grow through the night. Getting longer and longer as Amity was none the wiser. Hours had passed as the night soon became day and Amity was slowly waking as the morning sun blasted her closed eyes.

"Mmm." Amity moaned out as she blinked her eyes open, covering her eyes as she quickly turned around. "Stupid sun, it's Saturday. Let me sleep."

Though the sun didn't leave her be as the light reflected off a picture frame and back in her face, making Amity groan even more!

"Urgh! Fine! I'm up!" Amity said as she slowly rose from her bed, popping her back as she walked to her bathroom. "Even in a Saturday, when mom and dad are away, life won't leave me be."

Coming to the light switch, Amity flicked it on and yawned in the mirror as she grabbed her toothbrush and toothpaste. A dollop on the brush and Amity began to brush her teeth as she looked at her messy hair until she saw something swinging behind her, like an abomination tendril trying to form something but failing.

'What is that and why is it in my bathroom?' Amity thought as he eyes followed it. 'Well whatever it is, I'm getting rid of it. I'm not in the mood to deal with this today.'

Using her left hand, Amity reaches for it and grabs the tendril tightly before feeling a sudden chill up her spin and spits out her toothpaste!

"OW! What the heck?!" Amity shouted as she looked to the tendril, following its lead until...she sees... it's attached to her lower back. "Oh, I have a tail."

Amity stared the tail, brown color matching the top of her hair with a white tip, for a moment before her eyes widened in shock and she gave a loud scream that echoed through the bathroom! Letting it go in shock, Amity dropped her toothbrush and noticed her fingernails were sharp as knives!

"Aah!" She screamed again as she looked at the in front of the mirror, suddenly noticing her teeth were sharper and her eyes had become cat like! "AAHHH!"

'What is happening to me?! Why do I have claws, fangs, and a tail?!' Amity thought in shock and fear.

Outside of the her bathroom and outside of Amity's room, Emira and Edric had heard the screaming coming frim their sister's room and immediately rushed to check on her.

"Amity!" they shouted as they ran to her room.

As Amity was panicking about her new features, her ears suddenly picked up of her siblings running to her room and that was not something Amity needed right now!

"No no no! You two are the last thing I need right now!" Amity said as she rushed back to her bed to hide herself, wiping her lips free of toothpaste.

Placing herself under the covers, Amity jumped with a scream as she saw the door was kicked in and the twins gazed around the room in worry before looking at Amity!

"Amity, what happened?!" Edric asked in worry!

"We heard screaming!" Emira shouted at her.

Somehow feeling her eyes return to normal while gripping the covers in a way to hide her nails, Amity quickly thought of something to say so the scream could be seen as natural.

"I-It's nothing! Just a nightmare." Amity said as she wiped her forehead, making it appear she had fear sweat on her brow.

"Are you alright? Do you need anything?" Emira asked as she walked up to her sister, wanting to check on her.

"I'm fine, it was just a nightmare." Amity said, turning away from them, still upset at them from yesterday. "Just leave me alone, I need to get dressed for the day."

"Mittens, we just-" Edric said before relaxing his mistake.

"I told you to stop calling me that!" Amity shouted as she turned to them, making Emira halt as she was halfway to her bed. "Now get out of my room!"

Still a bit saddened from Amity's proclamation from last night, about how she basically disowned them as her older siblings, the twins nodded to Amity and left her room. Once Amity is left alone, she sighed in relief before tossing the covers off to examine her new tail and claws while feeling her eyes shift once again.

'What is happening to me?' Amity thought as she felt her very being still changing, becoming something else as she thought of what to do or who to ask for help. 'Wait! Eda and Luz!'

They could be the only ones that could help her, if this was some form of curse than maybe the most powerful, wild witch in the Isles can help her! And since today was Saturday, it meant both of them would be at the owl house right now!

'I need to get over there before this gets worse!' Amity thought as she jumped out of bed, rushing back to the bathroom.

If she was going to go out and seek help for something like a potential curse, she would still want to be clean it and for the people she wants to help her. WELL at least one of them.

Going back to brushing her teeth and making sure she wasn't smelly in her private parts, Amity got dressed in a black short sleeve dress with orchid leggings and black point shoes with golden crescent moon buckles. She looked at the amulet with an orchid gemstone she usually wore but decided against it for today, it would be like the collar to her now cat girl body.

'I'll wear it after seeing Luz and Eda.' Amity thought, putting back in her drawer before heading to her room window.

She couldn't waltz through the manor without gaining her siblings attention, Amity wanted to get to the owl house without them knowing. So opening the window, Amity hopped out of the window and drew a spell circle to creat a puddle of abomination muck to cushion her fall, before she ran to the manor walls and using the muck she summoned again to jump over it.

'So far, so good. Now to get to Luz!' Amity thought as she took off running to the owl house, making her abomination muck disappear.

As she ran to the owl house, keeping to the woods again to avoid the coven guards and other Hexside students so she didn't risk the guards trying to capture her for Lilith or asking her what she's been doing during her suspension, Amity felt...different then the last time she ran. Like more balanced as she slipped past the trees and jumped over stones in her path, could it have been her tail?

'Cat tails are known to help them keep their balance. Plus they act as counterbalance when cats walk on narrow places like fences or shelves.' Amity thought as she ducked under a branch and spun on her heel to dodge another tree. 'I hate to say it but this tail is pretty useful right now. I might miss it when I'm back to normal.'

As she continued to run, Amity felt her ears tingle and slowly become warmer as the winds whistled past her.

'What?' Amity thought before reaching for her left ear, touching it before flinching. 'Is this...hair? Are my ears growing hair!? I take it back, this needs to be fixed now!'

With her eyes shifting to slime green with slit pupils, Amity went to the ground on her arms and legs as she ran faster to the owl house for help! After about 10 minutes of running on all fours, Amity had arrived at the owl house and skid to a halt at the door!

"Luz! It's me! Open the door, please!" Amity shouted as she went back on her legs, knocking loudly on the door and waking the house demon that was embedded in the door.

"OH HI AMITY! HOOT!" Hooty said loudly as he scared the girl, making her jump away from him.

"HSSSSSSSSS" Amity hissed at Hooty as she went back to all fours, her new tail standing up!

"AAAAAAAAAHHHH!" He screamed in fear of Amity's sudden animalistic tendency!

This screaming from Hooty got enough to get Luz and Eda's attention as they quickly opened the door and slammed Hooty's face into the outside wall.

"Hooty, what the heck are yo-" Eda asked before her and Luz saw Amity...with a tail!?

"Amity?!" Luz said in shock as Amity noticed her, quickly calming down as she stared at her.

'It's getting worse.' Eda thought as she nudged Luz, gesturing her to get closer to her.

Understanding her teacher, Luz slowly walked towards Amity as she held her hand out to her.

"Luz." Amity said softly as she walked to Luz, still on all fours.

"Amity." Luz said as she went to her knees, her hand still out for her.

When the two reached each other, Amity moved into Luz's embrace as the human hugged and put her head on Luz's shoulder.

"Mmmm. Prrrrrr." Amity hummed with a purr as she blushed but right now, she didn't care.

Luz didn't either as she hugged Amity close, not expecting this but she didn't fight it.

' While this moment is cute and all, this is getting worse. Whatever is affecting the kid, it's making her more cat like by the day.' Eda thought as she made a spell circle, making the two levitate in the air.

"Reow?!" Amity let out in surprise before Luz rubbed her head softly against her shoulder.

"It's okay, we're okay, Amity." Luz said softly as she moved Amity to sit in her lap, hugging as Eda moved them inside the house. "I've got you, and I'm not letting go."

Hearing those words, Amity hummed and blushed as she smiled into Luz's shoulder and her tail wrapped itself around her wait to keep her close.

'Luz...' Amity thought as they were set in the couch and Eda shut to door behind her.

"Not that this isn't precious but I can guess you can to us for help with your...new accessory and hairy ears." Eda said as she sat beside them, immediately noticing Amity's ears getting furrier.

"Yeah, yes! That's why I came here!" Amity said as she turned to Eda but stayed in Luz lap, not realizing their position.

It was almost like they were a couple on the couch. From then on, Eda asked Amity some questions on what happened to her since they last saw each other and Amity told them everything. From her argument with her siblings, to the late night snack, the shiver she suddenly got from her bath, and the events of this morning. Safe to say, Eda and Luz were surprised everything that had happens to her since yesterday and it confirmed all the suspicions Eda was having about Amity.

'The kid is cursed but she's not cursed like I am. This is something entirely different, it's a natural born curse. Meaning Amity had been cursed since her birth.' Eda thought as she watched Amity lean her head back on Luz's shoulder, purring as she slowly dozed off while Luz blush but smiled and held her close while rubbing back. 'But if she's been cursed since birth, why is it just appearing now and what triggered it to take affect?'
