Epilogue

Epilogue

Years later, I told our first-born daughter the story of how her Father and I had met the night of the ball.

"But, I thought you lived with Aunt Amal when you moved to Washington D.C.?" she asked.

"Ah, I did, Little One. I only stayed in your Father's family guesthouse for a few weeks until Aunt Amal moved to America."

She smiled contently. "I love Aunt Amal."

"As do I, Little One."

"Then you and Daddy went to school?" she asked.

"Yes, your Father and I were able to get to know one another much better and fall deeply in love while we attended university."

"And then you got married and had me," she added.

"That's right, Sweet Girl." I kissed the top of her head. "And then we all lived happily ever after."

Lovelies,

Thank you so, so, so, sooooooo much for taking the time to read Amira and the Red Bottom Shoes!

This story is a little different to what I usually share on here, but I absolutely loved writing Amira's story.

Honoring diversity in both life and in writing is extremely important to me and being able to share this piece with you really warmed my heart and hopefully brought light to characters you might not typically read about in your average book.

Thank you again for taking the time to read Amira and the Red Bottom Shoes!

*****Oh! I do have one super quick favor to ask of you! Would you mind going back to the first entry/chapter called, "Amira and the Red Bottom Shoes (Please Vote for This Chapter)" and clicking on that little star? This story is my entry in the #OnceUponNow contest hosted by target right here on Wattpad and I would be honored if you would vote for this story. In order for your vote to count, you have to vote for the very first chapter of the story.*****

I adore each and every single one of you!
