The Truth
Final chapter. YAY!!!! My first completed story.
Nat P.O.V.
I feel Peter go limp in my hold, and I know it is time to get him home.
"Get the jet, we need to get him home," I call out to the rest of the team.
The jet flies overhead and lands in the clearing near us. We all load on and I still have Peter in my arms. I walk over to the bed on the jet and I gently set Peter down onto the bed.
I then call Bruce over and he checks Peter over, carefully cleaning and wrapping Peter's wounds.
"When we get back to the tower I am going to take a look at his arm with Tony," Bruce tells me when he finishes.
I nod not trusting my words.
Peter P.O.V.
I wake slowly. My head feels like it has been stuffed with cotton balls. I hear a distant beeping that is probably a heart monitor and I feel someone holding my hand.
The hand holding mine is rough and strong like the person has been working all their life, so my guess is Dad.
My eyelids feel like they weigh a thousand pounds, but I try to open them anyway.
"D-dad."
"Hey, Kiddo how are you feeling?"
"Better."
"Great, you have a lot of explaining to do then like since when were you fluent in Spanish and why HYDRA wanted you."
"Well first of all I wasn't born in America, my parents were Guatemalan and they had me so that explains the first part the second is more complicated. My parents were renowned scientists of SHIELD working on genetically enhanced spiders, and HYDRA wanted their work so HYDRA staged the plane crash that killed my parents and they took me as their experiment, and I was eight at the time so I understood English but I couldn't speak it, so I barely talked for the first year. Could you get Steve for this next part please? He needs to hear this part."
"Okay," Dad says walking out of the room.
Ten minutes he gets back with Steve in tow.
"Tony said you wanted to finish your story with me here."
"Yeah, do you remember the kid that was running from HYDRA that bumped into you?"
"Yeah, how do you know that?"
I roll my eyes at how slow Steve is sometimes. He isn't an idiot, just slow.
"That was me."
"I spent weeks looking for you after because you just disappeared."
"I had run to my aunt who lived in the city."
"Well, I am glad you are okay."
"Now that you told your story, I have something for you kid."
Dad walks over to an object covered in a cloth and pulls off the cloth.
"You made me a new arm?"
"Of course. I couldn't have you walking around with a terribly made arm."
"Thank you, Dad."
He comes over and wraps his arms around me carefully. I lean into his embraces and sigh knowing that I will be safe finally with my family.
Finally done with this story. I am working on my original works and a Marvel story for you guys. Writers block and AP classes suck.
Thanks for reading
