Tabitha let the way for the group of two. Christopher couldn't be any happier. He's going to start on his journey with the girl he loves.
You see Chris started to have feeling for her doing Freshman year & he couldn't stop thinking about her.
Wonder what she thinks about this? Probably sad because she'll probably never get to see her family again. Then again, I wouldn't either.
"Hey Tabitha, have you decided on a starter yet?"
"I'm thinking of the grass or water type. I never really like fire types. You?"
"Probably the fire. I just how they're designed. The Dex says they're based on a bear. So she's probably going be cute."
"She? You're so sure it's going to be a girl."
"Yeah. Most of them are females. 1/4 are males. So it'll be quicker to get a female than a male. Plus I can use her for breeding then."
Thunk.
"Hey!!! What's that for?!?"
"You know."
Sometimes she crazy. Plus how am I supposed to know? I'm sure my starter wouldn't mind breeding. Plus once they reach the final evolution. They go into heat once a month. So there's that.

The group finally  reached their destination.
"It's so big."
"You'll say the same thing last night too."
Tabitha gave Christopher a evil look. One that usually includes death.
"Hey. You wouldn't kill me know would you?"
She can't take a joke can she.
I hate him sometimes. Can't wait to leave him after we get our starters.
Christopher's POV
This is it. When me and Tabitha get our starters.
"Hello there. My name is Professor Evergreen. Yes like the tree. How can I help you."
"We're here to get starters if you don't mind."
"Sure."
He turned around and walked to a table. He grabbed three PokéBall and released three Pokémon. He point to the green deer.
"Here we have Frass. The grass type. Frass here is a male so he'll turn into the buck version. Next to Frass we have our water type, Samstream. Careful with this one. Sam's a fierce one. And lastly we have Smoky. Smoky' a girl so be prepare for heavy hits later. Now which one shall you two choose."
Smoky jumped down and run towards me.
"Hey there little girl. How would you feel to join my team."
Growl
"Okay. How would feel about being Alexa?"
She nodded her head several times
Tabitha step forward.
"I'll like to take Frass."
"Okay. Just Alexa made her choose then. Here's there balls. Five more for your team & a Pokedex. Hopefully Sam here can find a partner too."
"Yeah" we both said
We both left Professor Evergreen's lab. I can't believe this is happening. I got a new friend and her here.
"Chris before we go any further. I have to tell you something."
"What is it?"
"I'm leaving you."
"What?"
"Well I have everything else now. My starter, some money, some Pokeballs, and a Pokédex."
She just turned around and left me. What just happen?
