33. Anatomical matters. Part 1.
Warning!
This chapter is very, very mature. Things are going to get very heated with Logan and Amelia to the point of boiling. Nothing is left out. If you are not comfortable with this sort of thing, skip this chapter and read the next.
Let's go.
************
I woke up alone.
Logan wasn't anywhere in the room. Actually, now that I think about it, I didn't even know when I had fallen asleep. The last thing I remembered was how he had told me I was beautiful, followed by us laying there just looking at each other in comfort, and then, I woke up.
It felt good. The connection between us grew deep inside my heart, and it calmed me completely.
Slowly, I stretched myself and didn't stop until I made sure quite a few joints cracked loudly before I got up and made my way to the bathroom to freshen up. The kitchen was my next step since I knew the possibilities of finding mom there, or maybe even Logan was a lot higher than anywhere else.
The kitchen was empty.
"Mom?" I called.
No answer, so I walked back to her room.
'Mom, are you sleeping?"
Mom, whom after I cracked open her door, I found laid back on top of her bed with one arm flung across her face.
"No, honey. I was just resting." She removed her arm and turned her face to look at me.
"When did Logan leave?" I asked
"About an hour ago." She furrowed her brows in confusion. "You didn't know?"
"No. I guess I fell asleep."
She quirked her brow and shrugged. "He said he needed to go take care of something at work? He works?"
"Apparently." I took a few steps, entering her room completely, and sat down on her dressing table before I picked up her comb and started to run it against my hair. "I didn't ask much about that."
"Well, he's a good kid. I like him. He was funny."
Logan? Funny?
Mom had apparently met the side of Logan even I hadn't met yet. But the way things seemed to have been going, there was still hope for me. Before I could stop myself, I grinned like an idiot when the thought of 'hope' occurred in my mind. amidst my grinning, I caught mom looking at me with her brows raised, so I opted to clear my throat instead.
"Yeah. Yeah, he is."
"Anyway, I wanted to speak to you about something," she said as she sat up completely on her bed. "Ben wants to take me on a weekend gate away, but I didn't agree with him yet. I wanted to talk to you about it first."
I looked at her as I waited for her to continue, but she only looked at me back as if trying to read me. I raised my eyebrows then. She still didn't say anything else.
"Okay..." I bobbed my head. Slowly. "So... Oh, right. You thought I wouldn't agree?" I questioned. "Mom, come on. You've been single for as long as I can remember, and you've always taken good care of me. I can't be selfish with you. If he makes you happy, then I'm happy for you. Go, I'll be fine."
A smile twitched the corners of her lips before she frowned. "When did you start sounding so grown up?"
"What? What are you talking about? I've always been so grown up."
"Yeah, right." Standing up, she walked towards me and planted her hand on top of my head, before she ruffled my hair.
"Hey!" I screeched.
"I'm going to start getting ready, yeah? Ben should be here in about an hour or so. Everything you need is in the fridge, and I'll leave some money in case you need anything else. Apparently, it's one night away getaway," she said, then chuckled out loud. "See what I did there? One night away getaway?" She wiggled her brows.
I giggled back. Seriously, sometimes my mom acted as young as I was.
"Just have fun. I'll be okay." I got up from the dressing table and slowly, lazily, made my way to the door. "I'll be in my room. Call me when you're ready to leave, yeah?"
Just as I opened my door, my phone vibrated on my nightstand. The message icon lit up, indicating there was an unread message.
'Hey. Sorry I left. I didn't want to wake you. I had something needed taking care of at the office."
Logan.
My heart fluttered like a dying fish gasping for water. With a big smile on my face, I Moved to my bed and threw myself on top of it with my phone clutched at my chest.
'Hey. Yeah, I just woke up.'
So, I wrote that message, right? But then I had no idea what else to write. My fingers hovered over my keypads as my mind thought of what to write.
I came up empty.
I didn't even know writing to him would have been a hard task. But then again, he and I never chatted on the phone before, so maybe that was the reason. No. I'm excusing myself. I should have had something to say. I was pathetic.
In the end, I rolled my eyes at myself and hit send key on my phone. I decided I would have more to write once Logan answers me back.
I didn't have to wait long for his reply. Seemed like he knew exactly what to say.
'Cool. I'll be on my way home in an hour. Wanna come over?'
Yes, yes, I do.
That was my first thought.
I should have been ashamed of myself.
I knew how much of an effect, how much of a hold he had on me. Don't get me wrong, a seed of doubt did plant its way deep down my gut. I knew that I loved him, and I knew for reasons that were unclear to me, I couldn't say no to him whenever I was around him. What if I go there and he wanted to cross the line? What then? What do I do?
'Yeah. Sure.'
My mindless self, typed and hit the send button before I was even done with my mind rant.
See?
That's what I was telling you. I was crazy when he was concerned. I said yes to him before my doubt was even big enough of a doubt.
'Okay. See you then.'
*****
I stood in front of Logan's front door about thirty minutes after my mom left with Ben to their weekend getaway.
I didn't have to wait long. He'd emerged from inside his house with an astonishing smirk plastered across his lips, and shining green eyes that swept me off my feet.
"Hey," I greeted.
"Took you long enough," he said before he grabbed my hand and pulled me inside the house.
"Yeah, I was waiting to say goodbye to my mom. She was going somewhere."
"Oh, alright, then. I prepared a movie for us in the living room. I hope you'll like it."
Oh, I was sure I would.
In his living room, Logan had set up a small coffee table in front of a love seat with a bottle of water, a glass, and a can of beer. I pressed my lips in a line to cover my smile. He really had put an effort into the movie watching.
"We have wine if you feel like loosening up." His right eyebrow perched up as he threw me a smirk over his shoulder before he went ahead and pressed play on his laptop. The massive TV mounted on the wall lit up and the first picture I saw was of Will Smith.
"What are we watching?"
"It's called Aladdin. My sister recommended it to me. Said you'll love it." He turned his head to look at me with a grin on his lips. "So, you better at least like it."
I smiled back at him as he walked back to the couch and sat himself right next to me. Leaving no space between us before he flung his hand around my shoulders.
At that moment, I knew I wouldn't even understand the movie going on in front of me. Not with him sitting that close and most definitely, not with the way his hand seemed to not be able to stay in one place. It, being around my shoulders was one thing, but running his palm and fingers up and down my arm was another. Pretty distractive, might I add.
I would like to clarify this beforehand. The things that happened next, were in no way something that I had planned on doing. Don't get it twisted. I wasn't stupid, or gullibly naïve to not know what happens when a man and a woman who have newly discovered the attraction between them are left alone in the house. But I am clarifying that I didn't go there solely for that purpose. It just happened. Stop judging.
Emma, you can go ahead and close your ears now. This is not for you. This is for your later audience. When you are eighteen. Maybe a lot older than that. When you will want to write your own romance book. I will write this down for you to use.
It all started with him squeezed himself even closer to me. His hand, well, his hand never stopped running against my arm.
Slowly, without any warning, the small hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Like the temperature had just shifted and the hairs were trying to tell me something foreign was happening.
Something foreign was happening.
Then, came the tingles between my legs. To calm the tickling sensation down, I crossed my right leg over my left in hopes it would help. Bad idea. It only caused my parts to rub against each other.
Slowly, as if I wasn't sure what to do next, I turned my head around to look at the person causing me all my body jitters only to end up locking gazes with his darker than usual eyes.
His lips twitched in a small smile.
His eyes danced to my lips.
All hell broke loose.
Our lips collided in a passionate kiss before he picked me up and sat me on top of him with my legs on either side of his muscular thigh, straddling him. The kiss didn't last long. We let go of each other lips but stayed like that for a moment. Forehead to forehead. Breathing each other in.
Unhurriedly, Logan raised his right hand and lightly ran his fingers over the side of my face, causing me to close my eyes in bliss, and my breathing to ragged. When I opened my eyes again, I wanted to kiss him. Badly. So, I let myself wander over his lips as his eyes stayed on mine.
I moved in.
He moved in.
The second kiss happened. This one was magical. Hungrier. A cold breath passed through the insides of my skin and cause goosebumps to coat my arms like little dunes in the desert but that was the last thing I gave my attention to. The man in front of me demanded all that passionately with the way he was kissing me.
Our tongues danced in perfect rhythm as if that was something we did every day. When the heat was too much, I moaned.
Logan snaked his hands on my waists and pulled me closer to his now very hard crotch. I gasped. The hardness of him pressed between my legs brought a new height to the buzz on my parts. Like I was ready to welcome him. Like I was ready to feel him. When he moved his mouth to my neck, his hands found their way under my shirt, slowly running them from my bare stomach.
Up...
Up...
Until they reached my full-on goose-bumped breasts. I shuddered. My eyes rolled behind my skull in what I imagine must have looked weird, but I didn't even care to stop and think about it. I was in pure ecstasy.
While his mouth attacked every part of my neck, he picked up a pace with his hands on my nipples. Bringing me to the verge of insanity. I moaned. Louder this time. The sounds were alien coming from my lips, but the fact remained that I didn't give a damn about how I sounded. Instead, I began shifting my hips up and down his crotch.
He groaned and caught my lips back to his in another hungry kiss.
I wanted to stop. I knew I wasn't ready to go any further and from the looks of things, that seemed to be where we were going, but I just couldn't stop myself. It was just too good.
Finally, my chance presented itself when he let go of my lips and moved his lips to my collar bone.
"Logan," I breathed. "Wait."
"What?" His hazy eyes looked at me. "What is it?"
Well, how do I say this?
