Peridot lays down awake and thinking of the situation,( what would they do to me on home world) , she remembers the times she got bullied for being smart and she knew if your no longer of use to the diamonds, they will crush you.
She wore her visor to protect her gem, and if your gem got cranked, they would kill you.
She lived with that fear her whole life, that's why she did good on the training test, she remembers being aside a japer and getting the mission to go to earth by YD herself. she wondered since the gems are done with the drill will they kill her, she asked Steven about it before, " they will never do that " Steven said.
Still she was scared since feelings on NOT allowed on home world, she turned on the radio and listen to some "Green day " and she made up her mind( I can't like amethyst even though she flirts with me but I need to at least let her know I like her)
