When you occupied the space besides me,
My dreams always morphed from beautiful colours into amazing memories.

The darkness inks in,
As you turn away from me,
Face cold and immovable as marble,
Words so callous.

The darkness trickles in,
As I stand frozen,
Screaming out your name,
Dying a little in every trickle.

The darkness pours in,
As it swallows you.
And you happily take it drifting further away from me,
Until your are completely gone.

The darkness gushes in,
I run after the darkness.
It keeps ambling out of reach,
Teasing, but sinking you more.

I scream myself awake,
Even my dreamcatcher can't keep the darkness in the empty away,
I bite my tongue to silence the screams,
As my teared eyes land on the empty space besides me.
