Dove was giving Amber a tour of the Rainbow Palace after becoming friends with her after what happened in the temple. "So here's your room, it was Orange's room, but I gave it an upgrade just for you," she said, showing off Amber's new room.

"Wow, I've never had a room of my own before, I just shared a room with my partner Linnea as a Shard" Amber explained. "I understand, so that's all, go enjoy yourself," Dove left for her room, leaving the orange haired hybrid alone.
A tiny walking strawberry crawled into the hybrid's room and came up to her, barking like a dog. "Hey little fella, I'm Amber, you?" She asked. The strawberry dog took her shoes off with it's mouth and ran back to where it came from. Amber followed it through Neo Homeworld until she reached a huge dome. She entered the dome as she was scanned by a machine. "Human found, begin changing sequence."

"Changing sequence ended," the machine said. The machine brought Amber to what looked like both a forest and a suburban neighbourhood.
The strawberry dog reappeared and ran to a familiar looking man.

"Hey Oscar, who's my favorite fruit puppy," he said. Oscar barked a few times as he circled around Amber. "Oh, nice to meet you, I'm Gavin," the man said. "I'm Amber," she replied.
"It's great knowing you Amber, I haven't seen a girl with orange hair since my baby was taken 13 years ago," Gavin explained. "Oh, that's me, I'm her, I was taken by Black Opal," Amber replied. Gavin hugged Amber as he took her inside of his home. Oscar went with them inside the house, laying near a couch. "So how have things been the last 13 years?" Gavin asked. "Not great, I'm still wondering what I am and i can transform into my mom," the hybrid explained. "For 13 years it's just been me, Oscar and berry picking," Gavin replied. "How about we go berry picking for the sake of it?" the orange haired girl asked.
The two went out to go berry picking in a bush, but the bush was almost empty with only one lavender colored berry left. "So much for berry picking, there's only one left," Gavin sighed. "It's ok dad, at keast there's still one keft," Amber replied. The two grabbed the berry at the same time as the berry withered down to a dry form out of nowhere. "What was that," the man asked. "Not sure," the hybrid replied. After that, a moth appeared, spotting acid that withers plants.

"Moth!!!" the two screamed. The two ran off to hide in the berry bush to avoid the moth. The moth spat acid and destroyed the bush. "Hmmmmm, I have an idea," Amber used her gem to protect her father, but summoned the scepter instead. "For the Diamond Authority!!!!!!!"

"Orange Diamond," Gavin gasped. "C'mon dad, let's do this," Amber said. "No thanks Amber, I don't think I can fight," her father replied. "If you say so," Amber pulled an orange mace out of her gem.

Amber swung her mace at the moth, crushing it and poofing it. Amber bubbled the gem and sent it far away.
"I'm sorry I have to leave dad, but I belong in the Rainbow Palace," Amber said as she transformed back. "It was fine, there's a warp pad right over there." Amber warped back to the palace and changed into her regular clothes. Dove, Aspen and Red came into her room. "Hey Amber, where have you been?" The white haired girl asked. "Just spending time with family," the hybrid smiled.
