One officer was searching the back yards of houses for monsters.

Co-incidentally Clawd had decided to hide by posing as a dog in a dog house.

The officer looked suspiciously at the house like it might hide a monster. 

Clawd started to bark and growl and the officer backed off, scared it was a dog, and went off to continue searching elsewhere.

As the police continued to search the neighbourhood, one of the police cars rolled right past a circus sign that had Toralei hiding in front of it.

Rolling past it the officer in the car shined his light around yet rolled right past Toralei.

Manny and Heath had run to one of the shop lined streets. 

Two of the officers had seen them run that way and decided to follow them.  They were walking past the shop flashing their lights in every store when Manny whimpered " China shop?"

But the ever oblivious officers walked right past them.

Cleo was trying to hide down of the back roads.

Looking back at the main road where a police car had just rolled by, she didn't see where she was going and ran right into Deuce.

"Deuce? Frankie? Darcy? What are you doing here?" She asked, completely startled.

"We came to try and stop you from doing something crazy." Deuce replied.

"Ugh!' Cleo groaned, rolling her eyes.

"Looks like we were too late for that" Darcy said.

Unseen the others that had followed Cleo had run up to the others.

"Hey, dude, we didn't do that to the school!" Clawd defended himself and the others.

"Somebody did it before we got there." Toralei said.

Shuffling his feet nervously Manny asked "You don't think it was Holt, do ya?"

"No way!" Darcy said in defence of her boyfriend.

"Not Holt" someone else said.

"Does not matter" Abbey dismissed the idea "They thinking we did this! We must get out of here before police come and throw their books at us."

"Abbey's right. There's a drain about two blocks from here. If we stay out of sight, l think we can make it." Frankie said.

"Hey!" Came a voice from behind the gang "What are you doing out here?"

They all turned around to see that a normie had come out of the house "Cause the party is in here!" There was silence "Come on in! Welcome to the party!"

"Police will not look for us at party" Abbey whispered.

"Oh!" 

"Okay"

"Sure"

"Why not?"

"Mmm."

"You asked for it"

The mansters and ghouls all voiced their opinions.

"Killer costumes, guys!" The normie boy said as they walked through the door " Those are so life like!" He was staring at Deuce's snakes.

As the monsters walked into the normie-filled party the normie said "Cool!"

"Wow!" Said someone else.

"Is nice" Abbey said.

"Check it out!" Darcy said walking over to the decorations on the wall.

"Oh. My. Ra!" Cleo yelped looking at the decorations "what kind of house of horrors is this? Ghosts and skeletons strung up on the wall like trophies? My father was soooo right about these people."

"Chill, Cleo, they're candy. Just decoration." Deuce replied , rolling his eyes and picking a skeleton.

"Like in the Hall of Halloween!" Frankie realised.

Abbey picked the skeleton out of Deuces hand and popped it in her mouth, with her mouth still full she said "Not as good as old stuff, but not bad, neither."

"They're clearly celebrating attacking our school." Claude whispered to Manny and Howleen.

"This is the perfect opportunity to get back at the normies!"

"Punch?" asked the normie boy, Chad.

"Is that a threat?" Claude growled, ears flat back. 

"Oh, you mean..." He said sheepishly, taking a cup of punch.

"Real tough Clawd!" Manny laughed.

"Come on, Manny" Clawd said pulling Manny away to the window.

"Let's go get even!" Manny said with a maniac look in his eyes.

"Whoa, sick costumes!" Said a normie girl at the snack table " You guys must really love Halloween."

"Yeah, doesn't everyone?" Darcy said, trying to start a conversation with the girl.

"I don't even recognise you." She said 

"Um, that's cause we're....." Frankie stammered.

"Exchange students!" Darcy yelled helpfully.

"Yeah that's it." Frankie said.

"We from totally different world" Abbey said.

"Yeah, how come you're not dressed up? uh.." Frankie asked.

"Clair. And this kinda stuff isn't really my thing" Clair told the ghouls "I'm only here cause my friend Chad made me come." 

She said looking over at Chad who was making a fool of himself "Ugh." she said rolling her eyes " and if I'm gonna be forced to be here, I'm going to at least change the music. These people have no taste." 

The ghouls watched as she walked over to where the awful music was pumping out.

"That was too close." Cleo whimpered "We have to get out of here!"

"Come on, Clair seemed nice" Frankie reasoned.

"That's how they fool you" Cleo hissed back.

"Yeah! If l was her, I'd do the same thing. Lure you in with kindness, then pounce!" Toralei mewed.

Frankie sighed.

Darcy smirked.

Cleo looked approving and hissed "Don't forget what they did to us."

"And what we came here to do. Revenge!" Toralei screeched.  

"One of us already did that, remember?" Darcy hissed back.

"Yo, you guys just gonna stand there? Come on, it's a party! Let's dance" Chad said to the group.

But before the ghouls could move over to the dance floor there was a loud trumpet noise from the door.

"Attention, uh, everyone." Said one of the boys by the door.

"Hey, it's those guys who trashed our school." Clawd whispered to Darcy.

"Now presenting, the most famous monster hunter of all time..." Said the two thugs.

"Tis I, Lilith Van Hellscream!" Cackled a voice from above.

"Van Hellscream?"
