33 • Escape? You'll regret it
for user16217192 for loving my book :)
Hyuna opened her eyes feeling rejuvenated, the high ceiling reminded that she was still in the unfamiliar room which she spent all her time in since she first woke up. His face fleeted into her mind, his dark calculating eyes had no doubt imprinted in her brain and her heart raced without her consent. She scoffed, placing a hand on her thudding chest hoping to calm it down but her fingers brushed against a foreign thing instead and her eyes widened. She pulled it up, the limited measure of the chain strained, leaving an uncomfortable feeling on her neck. She fumbled with it until she found what was heaving it down.
The pendant was red, the deepest red she ever see. It was not a solid red like the paint, the smooth stone was translucent and she could almost see her palm through it. Its radiant colour seemed to transfer itself on her palm and she could have sworn that it was gleaming a little. She was awestruck but it did not belong to her. Obviously. She shook her head slightly and reached to the back of her neck for the clasp before she was interrupted by someone.
The girl looked like her age and was as surprised as she was when she walked into the room without at least knocking. The girl was the first one to snap out of it as she curtseyed.
“My apologies, Miss. I was informed that you are sleeping. I’m just going to tidy the room up a bit and I will be gone.” She said, standing straight but did not meet Hyuna’s eyes but something told her that it was not because she was scared of her.
The girl’s calm voice proved it.
Hyuna quickly regained her composure. She watched as the girl moved around, straightening the chairs and replacing new towels in the bathroom for the ones that she used when an older woman asked her to bath. She blushed, she never had anyone cleaning after her so it was rather embarrassing. The girl seemed to have finished as she curtseyed again before walking to the door.
“Wait!” Hyuna voiced out and the girl stopped, turning back to her.
“Yes Miss?”
Hyuna swung her legs onto the floor and straightened the white dress she was given to change. She quickly formed a plan in her mind. She was not going to stay in the bed all day. “Um… what’s your name?”
The girl met her eyes for a brief second before lowering her gaze again.
“Juna, Miss.”
“Juna,” Hyuna said, taking a breath. She wanted to walk out of there and this girl was going to help her. “Whose room is this?”
“It’s the Prince’s room, Miss.”
Prince? Hyuna thought incredulously. What is this, 14th century?
“First of all, my name is Hyuna, please call me by my name. And I believe I’m lost… I don’t even remember how I got here, can you show me the way out?”
“I am sorry Miss Hyuna, but the Prince made it very clear that you are not allowed to go out without his permission.”
Hyuna gave an exasperating sigh. “I think he’s the one who took me here without my consent. Look,” She stepped closer to Juna, “just, bring me to him. I’ll talk it out with him. Can you do that for me?”
Juna nodded and curtseyed again, before leading Hyuna out of the room.

“Let me go.” Was the first thing that came out of her mouth when she stormed in, barely even registering other presence in the room. Her eyes were locked at the face that had occupied her mind since she woke up.
“No.” He answered almost instantly and that got her fuming.
“I can’t believe this! I don’t even know you, and I don’t know why you took me!” She knew she was behaving like a small child with a tantrum, but she wanted to go. She did not feel safe, no matter how opposite her body was reacting.
“I told you, you’re here for me.”
“And I told you I don’t know you.” Hyuna snarled. “You must’ve mistaken me for someone else!”
The guy cocked up a brow and took a few tantalising steps toward her. She wanted to run away at the look of his eyes, but she was rooted onto the floor. Shivers ran down her spine with every step he took, closing the distance between them and she hated it when the sinful butterflies were crowding her stomach again.
“So I’ve heard.” He said in a low voice. Two more steps, and he stopped just in front of her.
She had to look up to meet his eyes, which she thought was even darker up close. A smirk grew on his face and she was disgusted when her heart somersaulted, and as if he knew what he did to her, his smirk widened.
He leaned closer that he could smell his soap that lingered on her skin, one that she used when she took a bath and he hummed in approval.
“Well babe,” he purposely spoke closer to her skin for her to feel his breath, “have you thought of what I asked you before?”
She gritted her teeth and forced herself to remain calm at their proximity. “I don’t know, there must be some kind of explanation. Like maybe you drugged me when I’m asleep, that’s why I keep feeling the shivers whenever you’re near.”
His reaction shocked not only her but also his friends and June who kept still near the door since she came into the room with Hyuna. He threw his head back and laughed, his voice echoed through the big space and Hyuna thought it was beautiful. It almost cleared the fog in her mind, like a piece of puzzle that she tried really hard to find its fit. Where did she heard that laugh before?
“Oh Yuna, what are you doing to me.” He said and she blushed. It was just then that she noticed that three sets of eyes were staring at them, watching their not so pleasant exchange.
Her eyes scanned the unfamiliar faces in the room and she stopped to look at the most noticeable guy in the room. He was impossibly handsome and she knew for sure that he was also an idol judging by the way he dressed and the colour of his hair. It was electric blue and in any normal circumstances, she would have flinched and grumbled about how bad of a choice he had for a hair colour, but right now she could not complain. The blue colour proved to compliment his pale skin and prominent model-like facial structures. His long legs were crossed in an elegant way.
Another guy who sat opposite of the blue-haired guy was also cute. He had his toned arms crossed on his chest as he wore a sexy smirk on his face, his eyes gleamed in mischief as he gave her the ‘I-know-how-you-really-feel’ look and she blushed, looking away just to settle her gaze on a familiar person.
Daesung was looking at her with an unreadable expression. They only met a few times, but she was already pissed at him. He was the one that brought her to that place anyway.
“You…” Hyuna pointed at him and he tilted his head in response. “You’re going to tell me where the front door is or I’m suing you for kidnapping and harassment.”
He looked like he was going to say something before he decided against it and looked away.
“You’re not going anywhere, Yuna. You’re staying with me.” The guy standing near her said and she whipped her head to face him.
“I. Am. Not. Staying. Here.”
He closed his eyes for a brief second and exhaled harshly. When he opened his eyes again they were pitch black and she started to feel fear as she backed away slowly, him advancing in every retreating step she took.
“Talk about escaping again, Yuna and I’ll make sure you’ll regret it.” He gritted out. “Now get out.”

I hate that this has become longer than I intend it to be, but my writing style changed. Now I liked my stories to be more descriptive because I believe even the smallest detail could make a change.
Sorry if it gets too long for you :)
