Two years after his brother joined the Marines, Titanus Wayne followed in his brother's footsteps, traveling around the world to be trained by the greatest martial artists and tacticians in the world. The only problem: it was too easy. Every sensei and general was outsmarted when their own signature tricks and moves were used against them. Within the span of a few hours, Titanus could memorize, mimic and execute the fighting styles and strategies perfectly.

Deciding there was no one challenging to fight anymore, Titanus moved on to something he thought could challenge him for longer: science. He and his brother always excelled when it came to mental tasks or challenging problems. Rather than focusing on learning things about other organisms, he decided to focus on the one thing that's left him puzzled: his own brain.

He began scanning and studying his brain with the help of several other lab assistants. They found that his brain is more active and constantly absorbing more energy. They also discovered that this rapid absorption and hyperactivity were the result of a mutation that could potentially lead to cancerous masses covering his brain.

Distraught by the news, Titanus decided to do something about this. He fabricated a serum based on old super soldier serums and prototypes that would enable his brain to continue functioning as is while healing itself. In order to activate it, he'd need to expose himself to a focused concentration of near-lethal levels of various types of radiation.

After having his closest friend and lab assistant Dr. Katherine Ross-Storm inject him with the serum, tragedy struck. A man known as the Red General. who saw the opportunity to create an army of super soldiers, decided to start the test early. He unknowingly trapped Katherine in the room that soon began to fill with radioactive gas. Then, he activated a highly concentrated beam of light, which was targeted at the sector of Titanus' brain the serum was injected into.

Watching Katherine struggle to breathe and slowly lose consciousness activated Titanus' fight or flight. His adrenaline began pumping through his body and filled his veins. His body began to mutate further. Titanus' skin turned a radioactive green, his irises glowing brighter than a nuclear explosion inside the gas-filled room.

His muscles expanded and tightened. He was becoming the ultimate weapon. His bones shattered to form three blades that extend from his forearms and out through his knuckles. They quickly re-hardened, making his skeleton nearly indestructible as his the iron in his blood began to fuse around the claws. In their radioactive state, they coated his skeleton and, once cooled, became nearly indestructible.

With his body now enhanced and his mind no longer deteriorating, Titanus tears out of the leather straps binding him to the bed, which looked like rubber bands wrapped around his wrists after his transformation, and jumps up. He grabs the unconscious Katherine and busts through the wall, letting out a loud roar as he does.

The Red General stands in front of his with a pistol pointed at his head, his hand shaking as he looks up. Titanus gently sets Katherine down, then steps up to the scared general.

"Listen...you Behemoth! You are now...property of the United States governmen-," he starts, his voice shaky.

"ROOWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Behemoth roars, getting in the Red General's face as he does, nearly bursting the general's eardrums.

"Titanus?" Katherine asks faintly as she barely opens her eyes and looks at him.

"STOP!" Red General shouts as Titanus bends down to pick Katherine up.

BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!

He fires three rounds at the forehead of Titanus, angering him. With a clawed backhand, he sends the Red General flying into the wall. The wall cracks from the impact and the Red General falls to the ground unconscious. Titanus bends down and grabs Katherine in a bridal carry and escapes the facility, carrying her in his arms. He arrives at a cave and lays her down gently before walking away to make sure they aren't being followed. While she's asleep, Katherine's body and clothes start to fade in and out of sight, her image blinking softly to the cadence of her breathing.
