Guess what? Our college year is finally over! We're all super duper excited for the vacation we're spending together!

Oh wait.

I have to go home first.

Lucky friends. They don't have a family to control them.

Ok fine, maybe I'm being a little selfish. Just a tiny bit.

Fine, a lot selfish. I had a beautiful mother who loved and cared for me. I used to, at least. They didn't.

I had a big house. They didn't.

I basically got everything I wanted. I was a spoiled girl. They weren't.

So why wasn't I satisfied?

"Hey Lu, can I come with you to your house?" Levy interrupted my thoughts. Erza and Juvia still had yet to pack, so I nodded.

"We'll be back in a couple hours. You guys can go home to pack if you want," Levy called 

Erza, who was on her phone, nodded.

"Juvia's.. um.. in the shower. I'll tell her when she comes out," she replied.

"Ok! Bye, bye!" I call.

"I still can't believe you can drive!" Levy says as we got into my car. I chuckle.

"You could too, you know?" I tell her. "You should try!"

"I'd ruin the car before I even started the car," she replies, as we start driving.

"Now that I think about it, Erza and Juvia can't drive either," I realize.

"They can," Levy mutters under her breath. "Not in the way you think."

I didn't quite hear her that day. Maybe if I did, I would've gotten a hint of what would happen a few weeks later.

We were screaming. Actually, I was the only one who was. Levy stood in front of me protectively, clothes ripped, and skin scarred. How did this go from friendly driving to getting attacked by a monster?

The last thing I saw before I passed out was Levy's blue hair blowing in the wind.

"Wake up Lu-chan!" I heard someone say. I shot up from my bed.

"What- Where-why-?"

"Are you ok? As soon as we got here, you passed out on your bed!"

"Where's the- monster-?"

"Monster?" Levy repeated. "What do you mean?"

"When we were coming here. What happened?"

"Nothing, Lucy."

"B-but," I tried to say.

Levy furrowed her eyebrows. "What monster? Are you feeling all right Lu?"
