1. Animal abuse isn't cute, and you definitely aren't the asshole. My dad is rough with my dog too, but I'm not sure if it's as bad as what you're going through. And you're feelings are even more justified since he's treating your mother the same way.

2. You're not the asshole for telling a school counselor, but sometimes their methods don't do any good because they aren't walking in your shoes.

3. The suicide part is iffy for me. I don't really wanna speak on that since it seems a bit too personal.
