He said if Liam ever came back, he would kill him. He then beat and strangled Liam until he almost died. His father leaving him out in the woods, a lesbian couple found Liam and adopted him. He missed his mother but he was to scared to go back, well luckily the couple were witches so Liam did learn magic. He was having a pretty happy life, he's never went into the near by town as his mother's warned him about the people in that town since they were violent towards witch's. Well one day, he decided to go to the town. While he was walking through town he saw a guy being harassed on the street, he used his magic to save the other male. He was chased out of town by the people but later that week, the same boy from then found Liam and asked him out.
