Backstory: her parents also fought, always. She always found her mother crying and her father drinking. When she was 9, her parents got a divorce. They made Shelly CHOOSE who to go to, Shelley finally just choose her father. Her mother wasn't very found of it, the last week Shelly was staying with her mom.
