Raven's POV

I'm so glad that Claude and Dominic are back to normal now. Well, they're still pissing each other off but we'll, perfection doesn't really exist.

Anyway, the three decide to stay over since it was already late and everything so we were all gathered in the living room, talking and laughing.

'...And then Dominic here,' claude continues telling us a story 'Completely wet himself on my bed because he thought Octavius was possessed!!' He laughs and so do we. Except for Dominic who's just silently withstanding it because it's Claude's payback. 'Look at me, I'm tough guy, Dominic with my amazing masculine voice and I just pissed myself because I didn't know my cousin's cat was a demon!!' He imitates Dominic making us laugh even more.

'In my defence,' Dominic says protectively 'I thought Octavius was an overgrown squirrel with rabbies. '

'That's even better!' Josie cried, giving Dominic a friendly slap on the back.

'And the moral is to never invite Dominic to a sleepover or you're gonna have to have this awkward talk with your mother about how your teenage cousin was the one to pee on your bed and not you.' Claude finishes off to which his beef cake (lol) cousin sighed in relief.

'Oh, that was funny!' Josie laughed.

'Yeah, tell us more!' I add.

'No no no! I think we both had enough personal stories for today,' Dominic interrupts, his face red. Claude nods.

'Okay, then...how 'bout we play a game?' Josie asks with an excited tone in her voice.

'Babe, we aren't kids,' Lee tells her but Josie ignores him.

'Fine,' Claude sighs 'What game?'

'I know!' Josie said enthusiastically 'How about Truth or Dare?!'

And the suddenly it all comes flooding back. All the memories of from before, all the pain and loneliness I felt right now.

Like I said before, Truth or Dare is a childish game. The same game I used to play with my best friends back when I thought I was normal. And it's the same game we were about to play right now.

'And this time you don't have to ring my doorbell at 4 in the morning,' Claude whispers to me with a smirk while everyone else started the game.

'For your information,' I smile back, whispering in his ear 'It was 11 in the evening. P.S. you're doorbell sucks.'

'Whatever, Simmons,' Claude sniggers 'I'll just pretend that's a flirt in disguise.' He sneakily holds my hand under the table.

Dominic starts off 'Lee: Truth or Dare?'

Lee answers 'Truth,' quickly.

'Okay. Answer us this; Did you ever like another girl before Josie?' He smirks and Lee goes red.

'Um...' He gulps.

'Answer it and I'll break your neck.' Josie tells him fiercely, but we know she's just joking.

'Uhh- Of course not!!' He quickly says, putting his arm around Josie and then getting out his wallet and whispering 'I'm sorry Angelina Jolie, just go with!'

'What?!' All of us look at him.

'You keep a picture of a human actress in your wallet?' Josie asked with a loud voice, her hands on her hips.

'That's not the only picture I have!' He answers defensively, his voice shaking in fear 'The it's also a picture of...Amber and Alex?'

'So you have a picture of them and you don't have a picture of me in there?'

'Baby, I don't keep you in my wallet,' Lee started to say 'I keep you in my heart.'

That line sounded really cheesy but Josie fell for it because the next thing we know, their both aggressively making out on their side of the table.

'Ahem,' Claude clears his throat, making them both pull apart, their faces red and hot. 'Carrying on...'

'Fine,' Lee gave a loopy smile, because he was still in a trance after their kiss 'Dominic: Truth or Dare?'

'Dare, motherfuckers!!' He fist pumps in the air.

'OK. Um....' He takes time to think.

'Oh! I know a good one!' Claude says, shuffling over to Lee and whispering in this ear.

'Hey, that ain't allowed!' Dominic complains, knowing that Claude will probably give him the worst dare he's ever done. 'You're breaking the rules, Claude!'

'There are know rules, little cousin!!' Josie laughed, slapping his back again.

'Okay, Dominic.' Lee started to say 'I dare you to kiss Claude's cat to see if he turns human again.' He holds back his giggles.

'Not Octavius!!' Dominic cries. I'm guessing he's scared of Octavius.

'What do you mean, 'turns human again' ?' I ask and everyone looked towards me.

'Didn't he tell you he used to be human before?' Claude answered.

'Octavius was a human?!'  I gasp and everyone nods.

'Long, long time ago, that is. Even before my great great great grandfather was born.'

'But why is he a cat now? Was he cursed?' I keep the questions coming.

'He won't tell any of us,' Josie answered 'So we don't really want to ask him.'

'He's just more mysterious that way,' Lee laughs.

Dominic struggles to accept his dare up we force him to anyway. Claude brings down Octavius, who doesn't even know what's coming to him.

'You know I hate cats, Claude,' Dominic admits, but I think he really meant that he was scared of cats.

'Too bad because I love Octavius to bits!!' He hugs his feline tightly before holding him over Dominic.

'Then why don't you kiss him?' Dominic spat.

'Because it's your dare.' Claude smirks 'Unless you're too chicken to do it...'

Dominic scowls.

'Meeoww? (Wait, who's kissing who?)'  Poor Octavius purred but too late. Dominic quickly smacks a kiss on his snout, wiping his mouth afterwards.

But Octavius....

He started to yowl really loudly, freeing himself from Claude's hold and scratching Dominic's face. He ran out of the livingroom, knocking down a lamp as he quickly trodded away. You could still hear his angry purrs from the other room.

'Oww! That son of a...' Dominic clutched his cheek witch had a small scratch of claw marks on it.

'Well, looks like Octavius took that well.' Claude said, looking out the door where his pet ran out.

'Well? He just disregarded my beautiful face!!' Dominic snapped.

'At least he didnt turn into a huge demonic monster cat.' Claude shrugged.

Right then, Virgil came in staring at the broken lamp that Octavius knocked over. 'Is everything alright here?' He asked in concern. We all nodded as he started to pick up the broken pieces.

'Don't worry, Virgil,' I tell him 'We're just playing Truth or Dare.'

'Truth or Dare?' He looked at us, curiously.

'Yeah, you want join us?' Josie smiles warmly.

'I dont think it's my place to join you all--' he rubbed his neck but Josie's smile was really  bright 'Alright!' He agreed 'I'll play!' He sat near Dominic in the sofa with an excited look on his face.

Apparently, in all his thousands of years of existence, Virgil had never played a game of truth or dare so we had to explain the rules to him.

'Okay, so when someone asks you the question truth or dare, you have to say just one of them,' Dominic tells him and Virgil listens with an eager face 'When they dare you to do something, you have to do it. No backing out,'

'No backing out.' Virgil repeated.

'And when they ask you to tell the truth about something, you have to speak the utter truth.'

'Speak the utter truth. Got it!' He saluted.

'Okay, first question, Virgil,' I start 'Truth or Dare?'

'Truth!' He yells happily.

'Okay. This is a very simple and typical truth question, so it'll be easy for you to answer. Here goes: Virgil, who do you have a crush on?'

'Well...' He blushes 'I am fond of Rachel, the baker...'

'Awww,' Josie cooes.

'Wait.. You're like 1000+ years old and Rachel's only like 20 so isn't that kind of creepy?' I admit.

'Did she ever tell you her age?' Virgil hitches his eyebrow.

'No...'

'Then how do you know she's 20?'

'Well she looks like it! Wait...don't tell me she's a demon, too?' I gasp.

'And a pretty old one,' Claude adds. 'Old as Virgil probably.'

'You know Rachel?' I look at him.

'Of course I do! I know everyone in this town! I grew up here, remember?' He reminds me.

We carry on the game until really late at night until Dante comes in and tells everyone to go to bed.

We could have told him that he wasn't the boss of us but no one has the guts to talk to Dante like that.

He may not talk that much but when he does, he can scare the crap out of you.
