Chapter 1
(Carrying on from Chapter 68 from Aren't I Normal?)
My name is Raven Simmons and for the past few weeks I've learnt that I am not a normal person. I'm not even an actual 'person'. I'm a demon.
I'm 19 years old and currently dating my ex-rival, Claude Helston which, in the past I would have thought was impossible and extremely gross. But now I think he's amazing and I really love him.
My parents aren't just dead, they were killed. I don't know by who, or if this statement is even true but I'm going to spend the rest of my life trying to find out if it is.
As of now, this is my sole purpose and I won't rest until know the truth.

'Wake up,' I shook Claude, who was still sleeping, by the shoulder until he finally woke up.
'Morning,' he finally whispered with a husky voice that made me quiver.
He took his time to get up and then we went to the bathroom to brush our teeth and wash up. While Claude takes a shower, I leave and change into my clothes.
He comes out with a towel wrapped around his waist down. 'Can you get my clothes from my room?' He asks, wiping his hair with another towel.
'Sure,' I smile, kissing his cheek and leaving my old room to his one.
I open the door quietly because Amber and Alex are still sleeping in here and tip toe to Claude's wardrobe. I've never been in his room in this house before. I look around his room even if curtains are closed shut and there's not much light.
He has so many drawings and paintings taped to the wall, probably all drawn by him.
I open the wardrobe door to see behind it is another drawing. I look closely, it's a drawing of me. I sigh, he drew me so beautifully. Then I grab a t shirt and sweat pants and head to the door when I hear a yawn coming from the bed.
'Cinnamon?' Alex asked, in a tired voice, rubbing his eyes.
'Yeah,' I reply 'Go back to sleep, kid. You don't need to wake up.' I tell him and he follows my orders and goes back under the duvet.
I walk back to my room and see Claude is sitting on my bed in his boxers.
'Finally,' he groaned as I hand him his clothes 'You took forever.'
'Sorry.' I reply, running my hand through my hair.
'Come here,' he gets up pulling me towards him with one arm and smacking his lips on mine 'I love you,' he moans into my mouth.
'I know, dummy,' I pull apart, starting to leave the room 'Quickly get dressed and come downstairs, you're mom said breakfast is ready.'
'Is it?' He smirks 'What time is it?'
I smile 'Eleven. We woke up really late.'

I sit on the dining table with Mr Helston, Josie and Lee. The twins haven't woken up yet and Claude still hasn't come down.
'We're so glad you both are safe now,' Mrs Helston says, bringing another plate of waffles 'We were so worried.'
'Yeah,' Josie added 'I didn't expect the demon hunters to actually catch you.'
I eat a bit of my waffle. Claude finally came downstairs.
'Good morning,' he states, sitting down next to me.
'Don't think you're not still in trouble, young man,' Mrs Helston tells him bitterly 'Remember that none of this would have happened if you had stopped her that day.'
'Give it a rest,' Mr Helston interrupted her and she scowled at him 'They're both probably really tired about hearing that by now.'
She goes silent and everyone carries on eating their breakfast.
'Let me go wake up the kids,' Josie says, leaving the table after finishing 'we have to go back home this evening anyway,'
'You don't have to go,' Claude tells her 'You could stay a little longer.'
'I wish I could but Lee and I have work and the kids have school so we better get going.'
'Okay,' Claude gives in.
After breakfast, I go upstairs to my room and sit down on my bed.
Soon after, Claude comes in too.
He sits next to me, curling his arms around my waist.
'What are we gonna do know, Claude?' I ask, looking down at the floor.
'What do you mean?' He questions back, obviously confused.
'I mean where will we go now. Are we just gonna live-'
He cuts me off 'We'll stay here for a couple of days until we've both fully healed. Then we'll settle somewhere else and I have the perfect place.'
'Where?' I ask out of curiosity.
'You'll have to find out later, dummy,' he sniggers, nipping at my neck.
'Aren't we going back to where we lived before, our college, our friends?'
He suddenly stops 'We can't go back there, I told you that.'
'I know but-'
'No,' he interrupts 'We can't. We have to keep moving away from that place. I know this city in the north where it will be safe for us. No demon hunters. Alright?' He sighs, holding my face with his hand 'Listen, I know you miss your old life, all your friends. But we can't go back to that anymore. It's done. That life is over. Our new life will never be like how it was before, Raven. Remember that.'
'I will.' I whisper and he kisses my forehead.
(A/N OMG it has begun again! Hope you enjoyed the first chapter of the second book and please vote and comment if you can!! *sigh* It feels good to be back)
