Trigger Warning: Anger(?), Being trapped(?), Medication

Cade was still laying down with his head in Teagan's lap as the four teachers sat in chairs surrounding the bed and the other students, who Cade hadn't noticed before, were sat on other medical beds nearby and simply watching quietly. Teagan's eyes were still a swirl of lime and burgundy as he stayed slightly hunched over Cade, his teeth bared towards the teachers silently as he eyed them with distaste. Cade was still confused by how relaxed he was at Teagan's presence but he decided that that wasn't the most important thing at the moment and tried to sit up but Teagan stopped him by gently placing a hand over Cade's heart and pressing down.

"What is happening here?" Cade's head snapped towards the voice with fear upon hearing the masked anger in the soothing voice. He stared wide eyed at the petite person standing in a doorway and they slowly made their way over. "What have I told you four about doing this?" The scolded but their focus was on the teachers who were looking very sheepishly at the person. "Out." The grumbled and pointed towards another door and the four teachers quickly complied to the persons commands. Cade didn't turn his gaze from the person as they watched the teachers leave and Teagan tensed slightly. The person turned towards the two and offered a kind smile but neither of the two on the bed changed their reaction causing them to sigh.

"I am sorry you had to witness that." They apologized and bowed their head slightly before looking at Cade. " I am Mahari Zaveri, you can call me Ari. I am one of the nurses." Cade relaxed slightly but didn't turn their gaze from them. Teagan sat up slightly and allowed his body to relax a little causing Cade to look up at him to see his reaction. Teagan was still watching Ari but his eyes were slowly returning to just lime green and still glowed softly and Cade tilted his head to the side in confusion as his dark brown eyes flicked between Teagan's glowing lime eyes.

"Teagan has healing powers, hun." Ari mused as they walked back into the room that they had been in before then returned with two trays of food and walked up to the bed and placed both trays down. Cade eyes the food on the trays and his nose scrunched up as he winced at seeing the food then looked away, still looking disgusted at the sight. Ari raised an eyebrow at Cade and sat on the edge of the bed, all the way at the bottom. "Is something wrong?" They were unsure of what was happening or what was wrong with the food. Cade went to open his mouth to speak then froze as he remembered the others in the room and snapped his heads towards the students, who upon being eyed wearily by Cade, quickly scrambled out of the room.

Cade watched the door they had left through and waited a moment before his eyes flashed to solid white and didn't return to normal. "Whoa...." Teagan murmured causing Cade's head to move to he was staring into his lime eyes, which were wide with awe at Cade's eyes. Cade blinked and his eyes turned to a dark green color then the black color of his hair seemed to melt away and show his naturally snow white hair. Teagan gently combed his fingers through Cade's hair with awe at the color. "Oh.. That's whats wrong.." Ari murmured and picked up one of the trays and walked away. Cade slowly tried to push himself up and winced as his back ached fiercely and managed to prop himself up on his elbows.

Teagan, slowly and carefully, looped his arms around Cade's upper torso and lifted him up and let Cade lean against his chest as he kept his arms loosely looped around Cade's torso. Ari returned soon later holding a bowl and when they got to the bed they held the bowl out for Cade to take. Cade leaned forward slightly and accepted the bowl and his eyes lit up when he saw the metallic looking berries in the bowl and started to quietly and happily munch on the sour berries. "What are those..?" Teagan let his chin rest on Cade's head as he looked down in the bowl Cade was holding with confusion. "Those are ospie berries, its a preferred food to a few specific species, many of which this man here is." Ari smiled and picked up the plate from the tray that was still sitting on the bed and held it out for Teagan, who accepted it with a grateful smile.

Cade rolled his shoulders with a small wince and continued eating as his dark green eyes slowly blended into deep purple mixed with a dark blue with flecks of gold. Ari stared wide eyed at his eyes and tilted their head slightly. "No way.." They murmured quietly, neither of the boys hearing, too focused on their food but Cade's ears twitched slightly. Cade paused eating and tensed as he looked around and tried to get out of the bed but Teagan tightened his hold on Cade. He made a distressed noise and tried to get out of Teagan's arms and eventually gave up and turned around so his legs were on either side of Teagan and set the bowl down between them and reached up and placed his hands on the sides of Teagan's face and stared into his eyes as his eyes turned to a neon purple color. Teagan's eyes flashed the same color and his eyes widened. "Cade.. Your name is Cade..." He murmured and watched him with awe and tilted his head to the side before looking at Ari. "What happened to Cade's bag?"

Ari watched the two with wide eyes then blinked. "A duffel bag? Black?" They asked remembering that bag being brought in. "Yeah.." Teagan murmured. Ari got up and crouched down next to the bed they were sitting on just a moment ago and pulled the bag out from under it and held it out to them and Cade quickly grabbed the bag and moved the bowl so it was behind him then placed the bag between the two of them and opened a small pocket on the side and pulled out a small orange pill bottle that had no label. Cade opened the bottle and pulled out three of the pills and quickly swallowed them then closed it and put it back in the bag.

"What were those?" Ari and Teagan demanded at the same time, worry lacing both of their voices but Cade ignored both of them and opened the main part of the bag and shifted the clothing and other items inside around then pulled out something that was bundled in cloth and closed the bag then carefully moved it and dropped it on the ground then moved so his side was pressed against Teagan's chest and carefully curled around the bundle protectively. the cloth was a blood red color and radiated a strange energy along with heat. Cade made a soft chirping noise and let his eyes close as he pressed himself closer to Teagan.

Alright! I actually wrote this in one sitting which is very surprising.. I honestly have nothing else to do and I also just spent a good ten minutes trying to get my computer to connect to the wifi because both were being stupid.. uhhhhhhhh..... What do people think of the characters who have shown up so far? Cuz I'm curious what people think of them.

Anyways, I will try to get another chapter up before the 16th because then I will not have access to my computer for about four days, and I refuse to type on my phone cuz that is absolute hell, uhh.. Later..?
