I woke up and looked around. Everything was pitch black darkness. Even me! I couldn't see myself. Wait what?! Where am I? What's going on? 'Be a Pretty. Be an Ugly.' I heard a voice say. 'What?' I called out. 'Become an Ugly again.' It said. 'What? Why?' I called back. 'Shay! Shay!' It called out. 'Huh? How do you know my name?' 'Shay wake up! You need to get up!' It called back out to me. Except, now it sounded more like Tally. 'Tally? Is that you?' I called out.

Then, I woke up.

"Hey Shay. Get up you lazy butt." Tally said as she poked me. She was sitting on top of me too, with each leg on one side of me. She looked like an Ugly again, but I didn't mind. Behind her Astrid was trying to hide his laugh. "Oi Tally. Im up, get off me and stop poking me." I said with a laugh. "Sooooo?" She said as she stopped poking me and got up. "So what?" I asked with a confused tone. "Are you going to take the medicine and go back to being an Ugly?" She asked. "I-I think I might." I stuttered out. Astrix perked up at this.

"Wait for real? You'll go back to your old self." Astrix said, butting in on our conversation. "I guess." I replied. He grinned at me, but quickly hid it. My cheeks felt hot and I smiled. Tally coughed and I turned my attention to her. "What?" I asked. "I'm sorry to bother you lovebirds, but we need to go. Shay, you need to be turned back into an Ugly. So, let's go and get that done." She said. This was her way of saying, 'I feel awkward right now so I'm going to cough to get your attention and make up a random excuse, so I don't feel awkward anymore.' I giggled slightly. "Alright Tally. Lead the way." I said and gestured for her to start walking as I got up.

"Yeah, yeah ok." She said. Astrix and I followed her to where David and his mom were waiting for us. "I think I'm ready to get the medicine and become an Ugly again." I admitted to everyone. David and his mom just simply nodded. "Well, Shay. Come this way and we'll give you the medicine." She said. I followed her and she took out the syringe. "This will hurt and you may pass out." She warned. "Just. Do it before I change my mind." I said. "I'll be here to catch you." I heard Astrix say on my other side. "Thank you." I said. I felt the syringe go straight into my skin. I screamed as loud as I could. I did hurt. A lot. I didn't know what to do. Dots started to cover my already blurry vision. I fell backwards only to be caught by Astrix as he promised. Then, my vision went black and all my senses went blank.
