Chapter 34: Asgore
Fell Flowey: What…in the actual...?
Blue: Yes, this happens as well
Fell Mettaton EX tilted his head, the menacing smile twisting into something almost pleased.
Fell MTT EX: Ah, so you've known about my EX form already? You have good taste, darling. Dr. Alphys programmed me to be irresistible, after all.
Blue: Let’s get to the fight. I don’t have all day.
Fell MTT EX: Fight? Oh no, no, no, my sweet! This isn’t just a fight. This is a performance! And you, my dear, are my star.
He struck a dramatic pose, his multiple arms extending wide.
Fell MTT EX: Prepare yourself for the show of a lifetime!
Blue’s hands morphed into sharp, glowing blades as he stepped forward.
Blue: If it’s a show you want, it’ll be short. Let’s go.
The air crackled with tension as the stage was set, and the fight against Fell Mettaton EX began.
Fell Mettaton EX stood tall, spreading his four arms wide as if conducting an unseen orchestra. His voice filled the room, dripping with drama and confidence as he began to pace theatrically.
Fell Mettaton: Ah, the lights, the stage, the drama! Darling, this encounter will go viral! Millions will swoon over my dazzling victory against the enigmatic ‘Blue!’ The hashtags, the views! Oh, they’ll-!
Before he could finish, Blue shot forward with incredible speed, leaping high into the air. Time seemed to slow down. Blue’s right hand shifted effortlessly into its gauntlet form, the energy coursing through it glowing faintly.
Fell Mettaton’s confident demeanor faltered, though his permanent smile betrayed no fear. His red eyes flickered with alarm as he turned toward Blue mid-monologue.
Fell Mettaton: W-Wait, darling-!
Blue’s fist connected directly with Fell Mettaton’s face in a deafening crash. The sheer force hurled Mettaton across the room. He smashed into the metallic wall with a massive dent forming where he landed, spiderweb cracks running through his screen.
The resulting thud made even Flowey wince. Fell Mettaton fell to the floor, landing on his knees and sliding to a halt in a heap of limbs. He blinked rapidly, his glowing yellow and red eyes now slightly mismatched from the impact.
His mechanical fingers twitched as he raised a red glove to his face.
Fell Mettaton: My...face! Darling, my beautiful face!
Blue stood in the middle of the room, his face calm and emotionless. His glowing gauntlet retracted as he quietly turned and began to walk away.
Blue (without looking back): I’m sorry, but I have no time for this.
Fell Flowey looked between Fell Mettaton, still crumpled on the floor, and Blue.
Fell Flowey: Uh....did you really have to hit him that hard?
Blue kept moving, his gaze locked on the elevator ahead.
Blue: If he’d started talking again, we’d still be here tomorrow.
As the duo disappeared into the elevator, Fell Mettaton groaned dramatically, placing one hand over his cracked chest piece. Despite the damage, his smile never wavered.
Fell Mettaton: Such power....oh, my darling, you do leave me breathless...
The elevator doors slid shut, and Blue and Fell Flowey ascended into the still, oppressive silence of Fell New Home.
The elevator came to a smooth halt, its doors opening with a soft ding. Stepping out, Blue looked around and found himself surrounded by familiar sights. Surprisingly, Fell New Home looked almost identical to his own version from his world.
Dark, towering hallways filled with solemn echoes, faint flickers of candlelight illuminating faded portraits on the walls, all untouched by the corruption elsewhere. Even the town in the distance was eerie.
Fell Flowey: Weird. I thought it’d be more, I don’t know, terrifying. This is...kinda normal.
Blue: This place has history, the same as my version of New Home. It’s the heart of everything. Even in this timeline, it’s important.
They proceeded down the halls, their footsteps, or rather Blue’s, soft against the stone floor. Occasionally, the faint strains of melancholy music played from somewhere deep within the house.
Fell Flowey: Asgore, huh? He’s gonna be waiting for us at the end of this, isn’t he?
Blue: Most likely.
Fell Flowey: Think he’ll listen to you? It's a dumb question, but I need to know
Blue didn’t answer immediately, his eyes focusing on the dim horizon ahead where the throne room loomed.
Blue: That depends. Sometimes even the king must hear the truth, but I doubt he will listen to reason
Fell Flowey didn’t respond. His usual cockiness seemed muted in the stillness of Fell New Home, its atmosphere heavy with unseen tension. With every step closer to the throne room, Blue mentally prepared himself for what lay ahead.
Even in a twisted timeline, some truths couldn’t change. The heavy stone doors creaked open as Blue and Fell Flowey stepped into Asgore’s home, a shadowy fortress that reeked of fear and solitude.
The air was thick, tinged with the faint scent of something burning, possibly torches, or something worse. The large, foreboding structure was far removed from the cozy, warm version Blue knew in his timeline.
Fell Flowey clung tighter to Blue’s shoulder, unusually silent as they moved deeper. His single visible eye darted from corner to corner.
Fell Flowey: It’s even worse than I remember....
Blue didn’t respond, but his pace didn’t waver as they continued through the darkened halls. At last, they entered a massive chamber where warm yellow light pooled.
They found him kneeling amidst a bed of golden flowers, watering them with a strange delicacy that seemed out of place for the figure before them.
Fell Asgore was a sight to behold, towering, his imposing black hair and beard framed by those piercing, predatory yellow eyes.
His crimson cape and shining armor gleamed in the dim light, yet there was a raw edge of menace about him, as if the civility was a thin veneer over primal savagery. He noticed them immediately. Straightening, he turned and regarded the pair.
Fell Asgore: So, you’re the human I’ve been hearing about.
His voice was deep and steady, but Blue caught the barely concealed frustration beneath the calm.
Blue: Technically, I’m the third human, but yes, that’s right.
Fell Asgore stroked his beard thoughtfully, ignoring the fact that Fell Flowey looked ready to bolt at any moment.
Fell Asgore: Ah, yes, Chara....and that other child. I care little about them. You’re the one who’s come to face me. You’ve interrupted my solitude.
Blue’s expression was unchanging as he replied, almost dismissive.
Blue: I’m not here to waste time. You’re not the real reason I’m here, but if I have to fight you to move forward, I’ll do it.
Fell Asgore’s brow furrowed, a flicker of something dangerous crossing his sharp features.
Fell Asgore: Are you implying I’m no threat to you, little one?
Blue: You’d be a strong opponent, I’m sure. But compared to what I’ve faced? I'm sorry, but you are nothing
Fell Flowey’s jaw metaphorically dropped, but Asgore merely laughed, his deep voice echoing ominously.
Fell Asgore: Bold words. You talk a lot for a dead human.
Blue: Before we fight....tell me your story. What happened to make you like this?
Fell Asgore paused, his glowing yellow eyes narrowing.
Fell Asgore: Why does it matter? Do you seek pity?
Blue: No. Just the need to understand
Asgore sighed heavily, the act making his powerful shoulders sag slightly. For the first time, he appeared less like the ruthless king Blue expected, and more like a weary monster burdened by years of hatred.
Fell Asgore: Fine, I’ll indulge you. But you’re wasting time.
Asgore began his story, his voice low and bitter. He explained how, long ago, he hadn’t been entirely the deranged figure he was today. He had harbored hope for his kingdom and his family.
Fell Asgore: But Toriel....she hid Chara from me. Claimed she didn’t trust me, even then. Foolish of her. When that child fell into the Underground… I was suspicious. Chara was too clever, too manipulative. I thought....
He trailed off, his sharp claws clenching at the memory.
Fell Asgore:...I don’t even remember why I poisoned her. Perhaps I feared her. Perhaps I hated her meddling with Toriel and Asriel.
Flowey visibly flinched at the mention of his former name. Asgore didn’t notice.
Fell Asgore: When Chara ran, Toriel finally saw what I’d done. She left, hid herself, and my kingdom began to rot. She always claimed to be righteous, but I...I was the one who was betrayed first!
He roared, the sound rattling the stone chamber. For a moment, he was unhinged, his powerful form vibrating with uncontained anger. Blue remained calm, observing him carefully.
Blue: You poisoned her, ruined your family, and you can’t even remember why? Maybe you’ve forgotten because you don’t want to face the truth.
Asgore glared at Blue, but the intensity dulled. After a long silence, he spoke again, his voice quiet and frayed.
Fell Asgore:...It doesn’t matter now. I made my choice, and I became the king I had to be. There is no redemption for me, human. I’ve sealed my fate long ago.
He straightened, stepping forward and motioning for Blue to follow.
Fell Asgore: If you want to fight me, and I assume that’s why you’ve come, we’ll do this by the barrier. My garden isn’t to be disturbed.
Blue nodded, his expression unchanged, though Flowey trembled slightly on his shoulder.
Blue: Lead the way
Fell Asgore stopped abruptly, his trident resting against the floor with a loud clang. His cold eyes glanced back over his shoulder at Blue and then at Fell Flowey, who perched nervously on Blue’s shoulder.
Fell Asgore: The flower stays here.
Fell Flowey: What?! Why?!
Fell Asgore: This is no place for weeds. What happens beyond this point is between me and the human.
Blue and Flowey exchanged a quiet glance, neither saying a word. Blue reached up, gently lifting Flowey off his shoulder and placing him beside the patch of yellow flowers by the path.
Blue: Stay here. I’ll handle this.
For once, Flowey didn’t protest, though his expression was a mix of unease and quiet trust.
Blue followed Fell Asgore through the dim halls, their footsteps echoing. Despite his exterior, Blue could tell: Asgore might feign apathy, but deep down, buried beneath the hate, there was still a spark of care.
Perhaps for Toriel, or the faint memory of what his family had once been. But whatever that spark was, it wouldn’t stop the confrontation about to unfold.
Blue approached the room where the Barrier stood. The atmosphere was heavy, and the room grew colder and darker the closer they came to the glowing light of the Barrier.
The faint hum of magic filled the space as the Barrier radiated energy, a colossal, shimmering wall of raw, untamed power. Fell Asgore stepped to the center of the room, his back turned to Blue. He placed his trident on the ground, gripping its handle tightly.
Fell Asgore: Before we begin...do you have any final words?
Blue took a long breath, his calm eyes glinting in the magical glow.
Blue: Everything will be okay in your life, that’s all I have to say.
Fell Asgore: Foolish words. But no matter. Let us end this.
In one swift motion, Fell Asgore grabbed his trident and spun around, the crimson weapon humming with deadly intent. Blue readied himself as Fell Asgore lunged forward, initiating the fight.
From the outset, it was clear this Asgore was a very different opponent. The flames he summoned burned with the same intensity as Toriel’s, but they moved faster, twisting through the air with sharp precision.
His trident strikes carried tremendous force, glowing in blue and orange hues that made dodging more unpredictable. Blue moved with agility, reading the familiar patterns but adjusting for the heightened speed and power.
Each strike missed him by inches as he dodged nimbly, staying on the defensive and frustrating the mad king.
Fell Asgore: Stop dodging and fight!
Blue remained expressionless, dodging effortlessly with calculated movements. After several failed attacks, Blue seized his moment.
His gauntlets materialized in an instant, and in one clean motion, he ducked under a swing of the trident and struck with a left uppercut, followed by a right hook. The force sent Asgore sprawling against the stone floor.
Fell Asgore gasped, using his trident for support as he pushed himself up. His face twisted in disbelief.
Fell Asgore: H-How? What...what are you? You....you’re beating me.
Blue: Correction. I’ve already won.
Fell Asgore: NO! I refuse to lose!
The battle raged on, but Asgore’s attacks grew increasingly desperate. The once mighty king of Underfell, feared by all, was losing against an unarmed human.
Just as Blue began closing in to deliver the final (Non Fatal) blow, a frantic voice called out from behind.
Fell Flowey: Wait! Stop!
Blue turned to see Fell Flowey hastily entering the room. His leaves trembled as he looked between Blue and Asgore.
Blue: What are you doing here?
Fell Flowey: We’ve got visitors! Like, a lot of them!
Blue raised an eyebrow as the door to the Barrier chamber burst open. In walked Fell Sans, Fell Papyrus, Fell Undyne, Fell Alphys, Fell Mettaton EX, Fell Muffet, and at the center of the group, Fell Frisk and Fell Chara.
Blue sighed, a strange sense of déjà vu washing over him.
Blue: This is...weirdly familiar.
Fell Sans: Hope you don’t mind, pal. I figured everyone deserves to know who you are...and what’s coming for us.
Fell Asgore, leaning heavily on his trident, looked baffled. His unhinged composure wavered as he eyed the group.
Fell Asgore: Why are you all here? And what do you mean...who he is?
Fell Sans: This kid? He’s from another universe. Mad, right?
The room erupted in chaotic responses.
Fell Papyrus: What?! That explains why we were inferior!
Fell Undyne: No wonder he ragdolled me easily!
Fell Mettaton: You being from another universe doesn’t shatter my love for you, darling!
Fell Flowey: Gross! Keep it together, bolt-brain!
Fell Alphys: I really don’t remember putting that in his programming...no wonder he’s a failure.
Meanwhile, Blue noticed that Fell Muffet had changed her appearance yet again.
Blue: You changed your look? Already?
Fell Muffet: [Smirks] A girl’s gotta keep things fresh! What do you think? Universe boy?
Blue: It looks good, but it’s almost unrecognisable.
Fell Muffet: That’s the power of money, darling. But I guess I’ll keep it since you approve.
Next it was Fell Frisk and Chara approaching Blue, with curiosity and slight judgment on their minds.
Fell Chara: Sans said you knew the other versions of us. What were we to you?
Blue: You really want to know?
Fell Frisk: You might as well tell us.
Blue: Okay, but don’t crash out on me
Fell Chara: Why would we?
Blue:.....You’re my friends in my universe. But Frisk...Frisk was my best friend before I joined her in the Underground.
Fell Frisk: We...were best friends?
Fell Chara: Does she still end up making love to me?
Fell Frisk: Please don’t word it like that.
Fell Chara: What? It’s what we do.
Blue: No, she’s not with you.
Fell Chara: What?! Then who is she with?!
Blue: She’s....with me.
Both stared at him, dumbstruck.
Fell Chara: With a loser like you?!
Fell Frisk: Why...would she do that?!
Blue: She confessed to me. I can’t really feel emotions, but....I accepted her.
Fell Chara: What do you mean ‘can’t feel emotions’?
Before Blue could explain, a deafening blast shook the room, sending him flying into the Barrier wall. He was stunned, as everyone turned to the source.
Glowing red eyes glared at them from the darkened doorway. The sound of mechanical whirring filled the air as the figure stepped into the light, a massive robotic frame with a glowing core in its chest. The entire room tensed as the menace came into view.
Fell Sans: Ah, shit. So you were hiding, huh?
Fell Asgore: What....what is that thing?
Fell Chara: Hey, bonehead. Is this the thing you were talking about?
Fell Sans: Yeah. Somebody wake up the kid or we’re all fucked.
As the air filled with the metallic hum of Scourge's glowing chest core and the tension in the room grew palpable, Fell Muffet and Fell Papyrus sprinted toward Blue.
He was crumpled against the wall, still recovering from the Ion Cannon’s blast.
Fell Muffet: Darling, you’re not supposed to look like an overcooked biscuit. Get up, won’t you?
Fell Papyrus: Get up, Human! Right now!
Blue sighed and waved them off weakly.
Blue: I’m fine...just...winded. Ion Cannons hurt
Fell Muffet: Winded? Honey, you were just shot in the back. This isn’t a coffee break, how are you even alive?
Blue pushed himself to his feet with a grunt, ignoring the sharp pain in his side.
Blue: I’ve had worse. Just focus on what’s happening now.
While Blue starts ro recover, Fell Sans stepped forward, a glowing red flame flaring in his eye socket. He cracked his bony knuckles, staring up at the much larger mechanical threat before him.
Fell Sans: You ain’t getting that key, tin man.
Scourge’s glowing eyes flickered briefly as he let out a low, grinding laugh.
Scourge: Key? I already have the key. What I don’t have is a way past that Barrier. But once I crack it open...this place will be nothing but ash and rubble.
Fell Sans stiffened, his grin sharpening as he gestured lazily with his hand.
Fell Sans: Oh yeah? And how’d ya snag that, huh?
Scourge: Simple. Your idiotic king didn’t even realise the key’s importance. It was sitting in his castle among useless trinkets, easily overlooked by someone as incompetent as him.
Fell Asgore's expression darkened, the realisation hitting him hard. His grip on his trident tightened.
Fell Asgore: That...that thing? I thought it was junk...
Scourge: And that’s why this place is doomed. Monsters like you waste power on sentiment.
Fell Sans crouched slightly, raising a glowing blue bone in his hand, readying himself for a fight he knew he had little chance of winning.
Fell Undyne: Sans! You sure you don’t want backup? We can take this thing down together!
Fell Sans threw her a glance, his expression unusually serious.
Fell Sans: Stay back, Undyne. You’ll only get in the way. This tin can’ll chew you up and spit you out.
Fell Undyne: I can handle-!
Fell Sans: NO. Stay put.
Undyne hesitated but backed off, glaring at the ground and clenching her spear tightly. Fell Muffet, watching from near Blue, crossed her arms.
Fell Muffet: Ah, isn’t it just romantic? A skeleton and his doom, dancing together in the flames.
Fell Papyrus: THIS IS NO TIME FOR DRAMA! SANS, YOU CAN’T BEAT HIM ALONE!
Fell Sans: Maybe. But, hey...I’ve always been a sucker for impossible odds.
The room fell silent, save for the soft hum of the Barrier and the occasional flicker of Scourge’s core. Sans and Scourge stared each other down, locked in a tense stand-off.
Scourge’s metallic claws flexed as he spoke, his tone laced with cold amusement.
Scourge: You’re an annoying little pest, just like the rest of your counterparts. I should crush you where you stand, but I’ll humor you. Come then, skeleton. Entertain me.
Fell Sans cracked his neck, his posture loose yet ready.
Fell Sans: Oh, don’t worry. I’ve got a few jokes that’ll knock your bolts loose. Let’s rock and roll, big guy.
The tension in the room hit its peak as both combatants readied themselves. Fell Sans conjured a set of spinning bones, each glowing with a menacing blue hue, as Scourge’s core flared to life.
The sound of gears whirring and electricity crackling filling the room. The showdown was seconds from beginning.
Blue:....This isn’t good, Sans will struggle badly
Fell Flowey: No kidding. That tin can’s gonna fry that bonehead alive...
The scene froze on the brink of chaos, the weight of impending destruction bearing down on everyone in the room. The air hung heavy with uncertainty and fear as Scourge’s malevolent red gaze stayed fixed on Sans, the harbinger of ruin standing unwavering in the Barrier chamber.
Fell Sans darted around the battlefield, conjuring waves of glowing blue bones and skull-like projectiles to keep Scourge busy. The room flashed with every attack as Sans aimed his strikes with precision, forcing Scourge to dodge and retaliate.
Scourge’s massive form and relentless strikes were slowed just enough by Sans’ quick thinking and movements. As Sans weaved through the chaos, his thoughts wandered.
Fell Sans: Crazy to think there’s, what, a million of me out there? All of us basically the same, give or take a smidge of power. Most of us scrappy little dudes....maybe a few edges here and there, but no real difference.
He then thought of Sans' like Ink and Error, each insanely strong in their respective worlds than the other Sans'. His mind flickered to the original Sans, who was a cut above most of the others.
Fell Sans (grinning mid-dodge): Makes ya wonder...are we really all equal? Or is that just something we tell ourselves? ‘Cause, man...I could really use a boost right about now.
But then, a moment's distraction was all it took, Fell Sans miscalculated his dodge, and Scourge seized the opportunity. With blinding speed, the mechanical behemoth grabbed Sans in his claw-like hand.
Scourge: Too slow, skeleton. Was that little distraction all you had? Pathetic.
Scourge slammed Sans into the ground, his impact echoing through the chamber. Dust filled the air as Sans coughed, his skull still clutched in Scourge's iron grip.
As Sans struggled, Scourge’s chest core began glowing, his Ion Cannon charging rapidly in the claw that was clamped around his skull.
But before the cannon could fire, a powerful blow connected with Scourge's head. Blue launched himself into the fight, his foot smashing into Scourge’s face with tremendous force.
The hit didn’t leave much of a mark, but it was enough to send Scourge stumbling backward and release Sans.
Blue landed gracefully beside him, his posture strong and unwavering as if he hadn’t just recovered from Scourge’s earlier attack.
Scourge: Oh, back for more, are we? Didn’t you get enough of a reminder the last time we met?
Blue’s expression remained cold. He didn’t answer immediately but transformed his hands, his left hand morphing into a solid shield, while his right hand extended into a shimmering blade.
Suddenly, his body emanated a faint blue glow, armor-like pieces encasing his frame in a sleek and deadly form.
Blue: This is just the prototype version, I didn't have time to complete it, but it will do. This time...I’ll do everything I can to stop you...
Fell Papyrus, Frisk, Chara, and Undyne looked on in stunned silence, unable to hide their shock.
Fell Papyrus: WHAT IN THE NAME OF THE CORE IS THAT?
Fell Undyne: I’ve seen magic like spears and fire, but...this? This is completely different!
Fell Chara: What even is he?!
Fell Frisk: I-I don't know!
Even Fell Sans, despite being saved, was stunned.
Fell Sans: You’re telling me THIS is an option you’ve had this whole time?!
Blue: This is actually new, I haven't tried this before.
Fell Sans: Fucking Hell, kid! You really are something of an enigma!
The only monsters who had previously seen Blue use his weapons, were Fell Asgore, Fell Mettaton, and Fell Muffet. And they were equally confused, not understanding how Blue could transform like this.
Fell Flowey, still perched nearby, sighed heavily and finally broke the silence.
Fell Flowey: Alright, look, someone’s gotta spell it out for all of you. Blue’s not human. He’s not even a monster. He’s...an android. No soul, no emotions, just...gears and code or whatever.
The group gasped in unison, disbelief and confusion spreading among them.
Fell Chara: You’re....not human?!
Fell Papyrus: A ROBOT? BUT, BUT HOW?!
Fell Frisk: And you’re alive? But you don’t have a soul? That’s...that’s impossible!
Fell Mettaton: I am here as evidence of that. But my Dear is....very different to me, because even I have a soul.
Blue didn’t flinch at their reactions. His eyes remained focused on Scourge. The mechanical menace's red, glowing eyes narrowed at his smaller target.
Scourge: Well then....what is your name, machine?
Blue: My name is Blue
Scourge said nothing for a moment, then suddenly let out a loud laugh, the sound echoing ominously.
Scourge: A fitting name for a construct destined to break. But I have to say...this is fascinating. Me and you are more alike than I thought.
Scourge stepped forward, his DarkBlade forming from his right arm, jagged, metallic, and pulsating with an unholy red energy. The two stared each other down, blades extended, ready for combat.
Scourge: But don’t get any ideas, Blue. The resemblance is where it ends. You’ll never match me. I’m beyond you in every way.
Blue stood his ground, his voice steady as his shield glimmered brighter.
Blue: Maybe we’re more alike than you think.
Scourge: Delusion doesn’t suit you, machine. You’ll see just how far below me you truly are.
The air turned electric as the two clashed, shield against blade, their duel promising to reshape the tide of the fight for all who watched. The clash between Blue and Scourge had escalated into a brutal showdown.
Blue charged with ferocity, blade and shield in hand, slicing at Scourge with impressive speed and precision. Sparks flew as their weapons clashed in a flurry of metal and light.
Scourge pushed back with unrelenting power, his DarkBlade leaving gouges in the stone floor with every swing. Despite Blue's resilience, Scourge's overwhelming strength started tipping the scales.
In one swift motion, Scourge knocked Blue's left shield aside, and even though it was attached to Blue unlike most Shield users, it still left him wide open as Scourge swung his clawed hand down hard.
Blue managed to block with his right blade, but the force forced him down onto his knees.
Scourge: You're tenacious, machine, I'll give you that. But all the tenacity in the world won't save you from this.
With a brutal backhand, Scourge struck Blue across the face, sending him sprawling onto the ground. Blue's systems flickered for a moment, his vision blurry as he scrambled to regain footing.
Seeing Blue fall, Fell Sans, Fell Papyrus, and Fell Undyne exchanged a glance and rushed to his aid.
Fell Undyne: We've got to do something!
But as the three began their charge, Scourge's Ion Cannon flared to life. The shot landed right next to them, the blast throwing them off balance and knocking them all to the floor.
Fell Sans: Great plan, huh? Just rush the metal death machine, why don’t we...
Scourge turned his attention back to Blue, his DarkBlade glowing ominously as he approached the android.
Scourge: It's time to end this
Suddenly, the sound of deliberate footsteps echoed through the room.
Fell Toriel: What is going on here?
The voice made several heads snap toward the door, including Fell Chara’s.
Fell Chara: M-Mom?!
Stepping into the room was Fell Toriel, her expression hardened but lined with concern as her crimson robes fluttered with her arrival.
Her eyes moved across the battlefield, taking in the destruction, the chaos, and the strange machine that lay on the ground before her.
Fell Toriel: Chara....my child...is that really you?
She paused as her gaze fell upon Frisk, her eyes softening.
Fell Toriel: And....Frisk. Is this real? You...left my care.
Fell Frisk: You left the Ruins...
Scourge: And she should’ve stayed there.
Without hesitation, Scourge fired his Ion Cannon directly at Fell Toriel.
No one reacted in time, the glowing energy blast screamed through the air, closing in on the unsuspecting queen. But as the shot struck, it didn’t land as Scourge intended.
Fell Flowey had launched himself into the blast’s path using his vines, his small body intercepting it entirely. The explosion lit the room in blinding light, and when the smoke cleared, Fell Flowey was gone.
Fell Toriel was struck by some of the energy, but it had been greatly lessened by the flower’s intervention. The room fell silent. All that remained of Fell Flowey was a single, yellowed petal drifting to the ground.
Blue’s gaze locked onto the petal, his system recording the moment in slow motion as it fell. Fell Toriel staggered forward, touching her chest where the blast had grazed her.
She seemed confused, her expression filled with a strange, aching loss she couldn’t explain.
Fell Toriel: That flower....he did that...for me?
She clutched her robe as if the pain in her chest came not from the blast, but from something far deeper. Her son, despite Toriel not knowing about him being a Flower, had saved her life.
Blue: Flowey...
He stared at the petal, his usually calm tone shaking slightly.
Scourge: Do not cry for a flower. It had no soul to begin with.
Blue’s head tilted slightly, his eyes glowing a colder blue as he turned toward Scourge.
Blue: He did. And you...took it away.
Though his body was devoid of emotions, something deep within Blue sparked, a driving purpose born not out of anger, but of a sense of vengeance.
His left shield transformed into a blaster cannon, firing a high-impact shell that caught Scourge in the chest, staggering him.
Blue: You will pay for what you’ve done.
With both arms morphing into blades, Blue launched himself at Scourge, his speed unmatched as he tore through the battlefield. Blue’s movements were relentless, a blur of precision and force.
Blade met blade in a fierce exchange, each blow causing the ground beneath them to crack. Scourge, while more powerful, was clearly annoyed. Blue’s speed and resilience were like nothing he’d encountered before.
Scourge: Why do you keep coming back?! You should be scrap metal by now!
Blue parried another swing of the DarkBlade, his voice calm but resolute.
Blue: Because I was built to endure, to fight.
Their battle continued, Scourge’s attacks growing more frustrated as Blue refused to back down, bouncing back with every hit and launching counterattacks with unwavering precision.
Those watching could only stare in awe, uncertain if this would finally be the end of Scourge, or Blue. Blue and Scourge’s battle raged on, escalating into a storm of clashing blades, bursts of light, and thunderous impacts.
Each strike of Blue’s twin blades against Scourge’s DarkBlade sent out shockwaves that rattled the barrier chamber and caused cracks to snake across the stone walls. Scourge’s raw power clashed with Blue’s tactical precision in an unrelenting display of force.
On the sidelines, the group gathered to assess the situation. Fell Sans, seeing Toriel still staggered from the residual impact of Scourge’s attack, teleported her to the group’s location.
Fell Toriel: What is happening? What is that thing, and why is that-?
Her gaze moved to Blue. Though she remained stern, there was a flicker of worry in her eyes.
Fell Toriel: Why is he fighting it alone?
Before anyone else could explain, Fell Chara stepped forward, still visibly shaken by the sight of her Mother.
Fell Chara: Mom...it’s a long story, but here’s the short version. That thing wants to destroy the Underground and probably more than that. That idiot isn’t like us. He’s from another universe, and he’s here trying to stop him.
Fell Toriel blinked, her gaze returning to Blue as her face softened. Despite the calculated way Blue moved in battle, each swing devoid of hesitation, it was clear he was doing everything in his ability to protect them.
Fell Toriel: Blue is.....fighting for us?
Fell Chara paused, her tone shifting as her composure faltered.
Fell Chara: It’s good to see you, Mom.
Her voice broke through the tension, earning a look from Toriel, who hesitated before resting a hand on Chara’s shoulder.
Fell Toriel: You too, my child
The group fell silent, watching the fight with bated breath. The boy that most of them were trying to kill or harm, was protecting them....
Blue’s twin blades slashed with precision, carving bright streaks of light in their wake. Scourge, stronger but growing more frustrated, came at him with brute force, swinging his DarkBlade in massive arcs.
Despite the ferocity, Blue anticipated each movement, his systems meticulously analysing Scourge’s patterns from their previous battle.
Scourge: You’re more irritating than I expected. No matter, it won’t save you.
Scourge’s Ion Cannon charged again, the barrel humming ominously as it prepared to fire. Blue, moving like a ghost, shifted his stance.
His right blade morphed into a gauntlet, which crackled with faint energy as he dodged the blast, sidestepped Scourge’s follow-up swipe, and swung upward.
The gauntlet strike hit Scourge square in the face, sending the metal warrior stumbling back with a furious growl.
Scourge: You’re learning. I’ll give you that. But how long do you think you’ll last before you break down?
Blue didn’t respond. His silence hung in the air like a static charge, unnerving even those watching from the sidelines. His focused, wordless demeanor carried an unnatural aura, a quiet declaration of efficiency and unrelenting intent.
Scourge, annoyed by the lack of reaction, sneered.
Scourge: Nothing to say, machine? Your silence won’t save you.
Blue’s expression remained unchanged as he shifted back to dual blades and charged Scourge again. Each strike was deliberate and precise, aimed at vulnerable gaps in Scourge’s armored form.
For every strike Scourge delivered, Blue met it in kind, matching his aggression with calculated retaliation. Blue had seen the same patterns before.
The timing of Scourge’s swings, the angle of his Ion Cannon, it all fell into place like the lines of code that defined his own existence.
Scourge’s over-reliance on brute strength and intimidation became his weakness, allowing Blue to maneuver past a brutal overhead swing and drive his left blade into Scourge’s arm.
The blade didn’t penetrate, but it left a noticeable gash in Scourge’s metal plating, eliciting an angry growl.
Scourge: Do you really think you’re accomplishing anything?! I’m stronger, machine!
Blue remained silent, not even acknowledging Scourge’s taunts. This unnerved Scourge further, his swings growing wilder and less calculated.
The stark contrast between Scourge’s anger and Blue’s eerie calm seemed to throw the mechanical juggernaut off balance.
As Scourge lunged again, Blue ducked beneath the attack, landing another blow to his side before dashing backward, blades gleaming. Sparks flew as Scourge recoiled, his red, glowing eyes narrowing at his unyielding opponent.
Fell Undyne: How the hell is he doing that?
Fell Sans: I’m not sure whether to cheer him on or freak out more. That kinda silence makes him way creepier, you know?
Fell Papyrus: Look at his efficiency...no wasted movement.
Fell Muffet: Oh he is such a spectacle~
Fell Alphys: And the fact that he is doing this without a soul...too bad I can't dissect him
Fell Mettaton: That's my Darling! The best there ever was! Behind me at least.
Fell Asgore: No wonder I was inferior...
Fell Toriel: He’s...incredible. And he’s doing this for us?
Fell Chara glanced at her Mother before looking back at the fight, a subtle weight settling in her chest.
Fell Chara: He doesn’t have to.
Fell Frisk: Yet he still does it....I think I know why my counterpart fell in love, if she is meant to be different
Scourge snarled, raising his Ion Cannon and firing another blast at the ground near Blue. This time, Blue’s analysis didn’t account for the unstable debris Scourge used to his advantage.
The broken ground shifted beneath Blue’s feet, forcing him to pause as Scourge lunged forward, his DarkBlade coming down in a vicious arc. Blue barely blocked the strike, the impact driving him back several feet.
Sparks lit the room as Scourge pressed his blade against Blue’s, his strength gradually overwhelming the android.
Scourge: You’ll crack soon, machine. I’m going to crush you and prove-!
Blue suddenly twisted, dislodging Scourge’s blade with a maneuver that left the larger figure momentarily off-balance. Moving quickly, Blue brought both blades down in a swift strike, forcing Scourge to leap back.
Even as Scourge recovered, his frustration was evident. This machine was proving more tenacious than he’d anticipated. Though Blue sustained damage, a few superficial dents and slowed movements in his left arm, he didn’t falter.
His silence wasn’t born of arrogance or taunting; it was the mechanical focus of a being built for survival and adaptability. His every action spoke volumes to those watching, he was here to protect, to endure, and to finish what he’d started.
The battle pushed on, neither combatant willing to relent as they fought for dominance, the air around them charged with unyielding resolve. Blue knew he couldn’t afford to hold back any longer.
His body, though weathered and dented from Scourge’s relentless attacks, shifted seamlessly between weapon forms with remarkable speed.
His left blade turns into a shield, deflecting an overhead swing from Scourge’s DarkBlade, while his right transformed into a blaster cannon, firing a charged shot at point-blank range.
As the energy shot collided with Scourge, Blue immediately retracted the cannon, spinning back to dual blades, their metal surfaces flashing as they clashed with Scourge’s relentless strikes.
Each time Blue moved, it seemed as though a new weapon emerged to match the titan’s brute strength.
A blade clashed with Scourge’s clawed hand.
A shield bashed against Scourge’s armor, forcing him to stagger.
Gauntlet-covered fists landed quick, precise punches.
A dual cannon barrage hammered the air between them.
But even as the fight reached a fever pitch, Scourge only seemed more annoyed. Unshaken by Blue’s versatility, Scourge deflected another swipe from the blades with his DarkBlade and dodged a synchronized blast from Blue’s gauntlets.
The Ion Cannon on his chest hummed ominously as it charged.
Scourge: You’re like a mosquito buzzing around, a noisy, irritating mosquito.
Blue shot forward, a blur of efficiency, lunging with both blades aimed at Scourge’s chest. But Scourge smirked.
Scourge: It’s time someone crushes you!
The Ion Cannon fired again, this time landing a devastating blow directly on Blue’s torso. The blast sent him flying backward, colliding hard with the stone ground.
Blue struggled to rise, his processors sending out error warnings as critical systems began to fail. His left leg sparked, his arm groaned with damaged servos, and his internal HUD displayed flashing alerts:
[System Stability at 42%]
[Energy Core Severely Damaged]
Blue: Huh......I haven never seen this before, the more you know.
Yet, despite everything, Blue forced himself up on shaking arms, his blades retracting as he attempted to reform his shield. Scourge approached slowly, looming over Blue like a shadow of certain death.
His DarkBlade gleamed wickedly in the dim light, and his glowing red eyes narrowed in disdain.
Scourge: I have to hand it to you, machine. You’re persistent, I will give you that.
He paced in a semi-circle around Blue, relishing the android’s vulnerability.
Scourge: This is always how it goes, isn’t it? I get you where I want you, one strike away from finishing you off...and someone gets in my way. Last time it was that idiotic flower. But not now. Look at them!
Scourge gestured toward the group of bystanders, all watching helplessly. A single threatening glare made them stiffen in place.
Scourge: No one’s going to save you this time, machine.
With deliberate slowness, Scourge raised his DarkBlade high above Blue, prepared to deliver the killing blow.
Just as Scourge’s blade began to descend, a blast of energy rocketed across the room, slamming into him with unexpected force and knocking him back several feet.
Scourge growled, twisting to face whoever dared intervene, while the group stared in shock.
Stepping into the chamber, emerging from a swirling ink-like portal, stood Ink Sans, with a brush resting casually over one shoulder. He grinned lazily, though his multicolored eyes sparkled with seriousness.
Ink Sans: Fact check: you’re getting interrupted again.

I'm going to stop here, this is the first part of Arc 3.
There is 2 or 3 more parts left, but I'm going to continue part 2 another time, possibly end of Feb or sometime in March.
That isn't a guarantee though.
