Nana woke up earlier than usual the next day which was Sunday and she is feeling so giddy, lightheartedly silly that Zayn will be with her at home the whole day. She's kind of expecting Maaysa to show up also and is holding her breath because the new Maaysa, you never know what is wrong with her. Nana sighed before deciding to take a hot bath since the whether is chilly and she just felt like cooking something amazing for them with the help of internet and some apps she downloaded on how to cook meals. The school she registered also added her in a WhatsApp group and they're already sending so many amazing dishes and how to make them.

Coming out of the bathroom, Nana wanted to let her damp hair dry by itself but then remembered that her hair is not as silky as she thought and if she let it dry by itself, she'll have hard time combing it so she brought out her stretcher and did her hair quietly in the bathroom, sitting on the stool whilst looking at herself in the mirror. The normally, ordinarily, routinely shoulder length hair dropped down to her mid back like it always does whenever she stretches it. She smiled at herself before slowly walking out of the bathroom, only in a towel and didn't bother sneaking into the closet.

After six long minutes of her looking for something to wear, Nana settled on a buttered yellow cozy high waist long pants and black long sleeved body hug, tucking it. Happy with her looks and not bothering to tie any head tie around her head, Nana headed out -not before slipping into some comfortable loafers- and check on Khumais who's also soundly sleeping like her husband in the room before applying the incense burner and then she's in the kitchen, trying to toast sweet potatoes.

Sixty minutes later, she's done toasting the sweet potatoes and is ready to do the toppings which she also found on internet. She saw four toppings but settled on two because those are the ones she has all the ingredients for, the rest will either not have cilantro or something like that. She settled on the ones with mashed avocado, sliced strawberries, chia seeds and bee pollen and the one with almond butter, banana, chia seeds and hemp seeds.

Nana squealed when everything turned out well, not that she's tasted it but it looks amazing and can't wait for Zayn to come and see it. Wanting to show this to Rukayyah, she brought out her phone and immediately click the picture expertly. She set it on the table and keep the some fresh orange juice by the side before strutting to call Zayn. She can't wait to see his reaction, she never thought she could pull off something like that, hence she can't stop herself from jumping around like a monkey. Her heart kept blowing with pride, yesterday and today are going smoothly, she hopes it goes like this all.

"Cherub, you need to see this. Wake up!" She jumped on the bed, prying away the duvet from his body to which he only groaned at.

"What?!" He snapped, opening one of his eyes to be greeted with his wife's beaming face and he can't bring himself to go back asleep when she's happily wanting to show him something.

"I made breakfast and it looks amazing. Look." She pushed her phone to his face, he had to blink thrice before seeing it clearly. Did she really did that?!

"You really did that?" He asked, fully awake but the pride in his eyes is very clear and that only soared her heart higher.

"Yes, come and see it." She drag him out of the bed and straight to the dining room where he stood, gaping at the food waiting to be devoured at the table. She really did that! Wow, he stared in wonder.

"I'm so proud of you." He kissed her forehead, also beaming at her before asking. "How did you do that?" Not that he's degrading her or anything but she hasn't started going to the school so he should ask.

"Google." Her short reply came before sitting him down on the table, pushing the plate in front of him with a fork and knife.

"O' my, this is amazing!" He moaned out loud, because he's never tasted something as amazing as this. His taste buds are humming in appreciation just like his tongue.

"I know right." She kept beaming before bolting out of the dining when she saw Khumais' monitor beeping in her hands and yelled to Zayn not to stand up.

"Who do you think it is?" Zayn asked as they're both sitting on the couch, munching on chocolate that's smeared all over their faces and they didn't bother cleaning it even though Zayn licked some from her face with his tongue.

"Maybe Maaysa?" She threw a question before jumping out of the couch, only to be stopped by Zayn.

"Let's see together, I don't want any male gaping at my wife like this so you'll stay behind me." He instructed before standing up with her behind him like he said.

She only rolled her eyes at his possessiveness but is happy about it. She wouldn't want any male gaping at her but her instincts told her that it's Maaysa and an unwanted guest. She doesn't know who that unwanted guest is but she knew that that person is like a sour thumb to them all. Then who is it? She scrunched her face and peeped when Zayn opened the door. Sure, Maaysa stood with sullen, morose, dismal, grouchy face but still manage to look beautiful in cotton blend colour block maxi dress and red veil. Her face looks heartbreaking and talk less of what she's feeling inside. The real look of overwhelming mental anguish marred her always cheerful face.

The sour thumb she was thinking about is Hidaya who was openly gaping at the couple. Clasped in blue jeans, flowery blouse and a coat that reached her knees with a veil wrapped only around her head. Nana almost glowered at her but didn't bother and yawed her attention back to the source of her beams; Maaysa.

Zayn hugged his sister lightly before stepping back, whispering in Nana's ears; "I'll be in the backyard, you can join me whenever you want. I can continue cleaning your face." He smirked when she blushed before winking and dematerializing out of her sight.

She hugged Maaysa, avoiding the hard looks from Hidaya. Yes she's not glaring but the look has something hostile in it which didn't sit well with Nana. That looks call for trouble but she hugged her when Maaysa pulled away. It'll look like she knew Hidaya's twisted thought -becoming Mrs. Zayn- if she doesn't hug her. Nana didn't show any sign that she knew about her twisted thoughts and pulled away from the awkward hug.

"Good news, Maaysa." Nana squealed which made a ghost smile to appear on Maaysa's face. Nana is never the one to squeal like this and her happy vibes is just getting into her.

"What is it?" Maaysa sighed, sitting herself on the barstool, propping her face in between her palms.

"You're getting married to Mashhub! He knew about it since the day you confessed because he mistakenly walked in on you guys. He told Rukayyah about it yesterday and she's ready to have you as her co-wife, more like sister. She wants him to marry you but he wants to think about it and I know the answer will be yes anyway." Nana dropped the bomb in one breath.

Maaysa felt this pang, jealousy and rejection but that doesn't mean she has anything against Rukayyah except the respect she developed in a span of second for the girl. How can she be so selfless? Maaysa didn't ponder on it since the favour is hers and she'll take whatever it is that's coming from Mashhub even though he wants to think about it and it's his wife who convinced him. She's happy, and just like that a beautiful smile appeared on her face like all the weight has been lifted off her chest.

"She met me by the gate out of my house and asked to tag along. I wasn't really in my right sense so I agreed. Where is Khumais?" Maaysa answered Nana's question which she asked why she brought Hidaya with her.

"In his room probably playing." She answered, following lightheaded Maaysa out of the kitchen.

"I'm sorry about that, bro. I didn't want to come in between newly married couple just because my sister is in love with the male specie." Zayn sighed through the phone.

"No problem! I know how stupid your brain functions most of the times so, no problem." Mashhub snickered when he heard Zayn's snarl from the other end of the phone.

"Don't annoy me more than I am right now. Hidaya is here with Maaysa and I know my wife has ready told Maaysa about it but can you just see the looks Hidaya is sending my way." Zayn groaned which only amused Mashhub more.

He didn't want to talk about Maaysa again with Zayn since she'll be his wife and talking about her with her brother will kind of be awkward now. It's not like he has feelings for her but since he loves her like a sister, he'll try his best.

"I feel you, bro. That's why I'm so happy for not having female cousins, they can be very annoying." Mashhub sighed, knowing it's their past that's biting Zayn.

They continue to talk randomly till he heard Zayn saying he got to go, someone is screaming inside the house. Mashhub pitied him for a little while before he started sweating. Will it be like this between his wives also? Then again, he has his full trust in his wife for always being calm and for Maaysa to always quench their thirst with her childish tactics. Maybe, just maybe, this is not really a bad idea as he thought it would be.

"Let's go!" Rukayyah's singsong voice brought him out of his reverie. She looks beautiful in her fitted ankara skirt and blouse. She tied her head tie expertly like a turban before draping a light brown veil on top of it and matching bag.

"You look, ravishing." He shamelessly stared at her before taking her hand and together they walk out of the house and to his parents.

"Maraba, Maraba! (Welcome, welcome)" his grandmother greeted, sitting straight on the couch as she takes in her granddaughter in-law and grandson.

They exchanged pleasantries and sat down, talking abut everything and nothing before his mother graced them with her presence. Her hands and neck is adorned with gold and her fair skin made everything glow like it was meant for only her. The chandeliers kept flashing the gold adorning her body, making it twinkle.

His other two sisters joined later and they continue to have good conversation around the living room till they dropped the topic about Mashhub getting married, that's why all hell broke loose.
