Hermione went out and saw Draco walking towards the fence gate. She ran and caught up with him."Wait Draco!Please wait!"she shouted. Draco stood still. She came running and caught his sleeve. Draco flinched."Draco!Please listen to me.I.....never...I'm so ....so.."started Hermione. Draco stopped her.

"If your going to apologise for what happened, then you can forget it Granger. I have had enough. It was for you that i left them alive."said Draco,shouting."I understand Draco. We...we could ...try something else and...."her voice trailed away.

Draco turned and looked at her."There is no use Granger. I am not facing another humiliation. Just marry redhead. And be happy" he said stressing on the word happy.

Hermione was in tears."Draco, i ....don't want to marry him. I...don't love Ron"confessed Hermione. Draco was shocked. He had remembered how many times redhead had snogged Granger. He remembers all the classes he had checked for Granger while she had bunked the class and gone with Redhead. He couldn't believe what she said.

"But you said you wanted to postpone the wedding. Not permanently stopping it. All the times you and redhead were cutting classes and..."continued Draco.

Hermione was stunned. He noticed my absence. He kept following me. Seeing what all i did.He...was jealous.

Hermione cut him short."You noticed my absence. You...searched ..for me"she whispered. Draco stood still. Hermione came close to him. She was only centimeters away from his face when he remembered what had happened a few minutes before.

He jerked away from her. Hermione asked"What do i do Draco?"in a helpless tone. Draco had never seen her like this. But he was still angry. He didnot know what would come out of his mouth the next second.

"Run back to your house. Just warn your sister-in-law to mind her tongue."he said. Hermione stared at him."What are you talking about Draco?"she asked bewildered.Draco wanted to end this.He said"Go and join him"and left Hermione crying. After going a few meters,he turned back. He saw Hermione running back to her house. She was cursing him loudly.

Good thought Draco. The last thing i wanted is to lose my true friend.

A voice inside him said

True love.
