Ritik's POV:

"Don't you think you are very happy today?" Viraj asked, almost teased. Why does everyone thinks I'm very happy? Today yesterday even mom asked me why I was smiling so much and now Viraj. Can't I smile normally?

"Well I already told you the reason." Sakshi said. As expected! I already guessed that Sakshi will tell everything to him, So I requested her not to do it however, she did. I swear girls are very bad at keeping secrets.

"Yeah I heard you were shopping with Kiara yesterday. You guys had coffee, where you were the one who ordered coffee for her and ....."

"Stop!" I said cutting his sentence. It was better to explain them the whole situation before they assume things
So I started narrating the truth.

"She was sad and I needed someone who can help me so we went together and about the coffee thing, I ordered it because we were talking about our preference for a perfect coffee and she told me about it. This Sakshi is an idiot, I wish I we didn't met yesterday." I said slapping her head. While shopping yesterday, we met Sakshi and her brother. No doubt she kept giving me those teasing smiles from time to time and also forced to have coffee with them. Because Sakshi was with us it took too much time for buying her a gift. We had to wait until she left.

"Hey, it's my birthday today." She whined. Oh yes. I apologized for which she smiled immediately while pulling my cheeks a little.

Viraj started telling about today's schedule so I was carefully listening to him until Sakshi poked my hand. When looked in the direction where she signalled, I saw Kiara coming towards us.

"Good morning everyone." She greeted in her usual cheerful voice.

"Not to you." She said pointing towards me. Still angry. Yesterday when I paid for her coffee, she wanted to return the money but as she already knew that I was not going to accept it, she forced me to have ice-cream with her. I could have let her pay the bill but it wouldn't have been fun, so I fooled her again however I regretted it later because of her contact mutterings in my ear stating how bad I am. Idiot!

Kiara then wished Sakshi and told her to meet her after sometime in their club's office.

"I'm reminding you again, be on time ok? Or you can also come with us if you don't mind." Viraj suggested.

"Why would I mind coming with you guys? You both are too kind. Well only you BOTH. However you guys carry on, I will be there on time." Kiara replied. I heard Sakshi laughing when Kiara said that 'You both' sentence however I ignored it.

"See you soon. Bye." She said and turned to leave. She glanced at me but didn't say anything. I almost thought she was going to go from there however I was proved wrong when I felt her stop beside me.

"Good morning." She said slapping my arm and then went from there even before I could have said anything.

"You finally smiled." Sakshi said the moment I looked at her.

"Wasn't I smiling already?"

"You were but not when Kiara didn't greeted you. There was not even a slightest curve on your lips."

"Shut up." I stated.

"No Ritik. Jokes apart, even I noticed that. Don't you think you are genuinely happy when you are with her?" Viraj asked pointing towards Kiara who was now so busy talking with some of her friends.

"Ofcourse not. You guys have already started overthinking about it. Can't I talk with a single girl without you thinking something different about it?"

"Excuse me, you talk with everyone but we never ask about them, do we? Nia and Kiara are our main focus because we know at the end you are going to end up with one of them and I want it to be Kiara." Sakshi replied.

"Nia." Viraj said.

"None! Stop it before I get angry. Please." I requested. Even I'm not sure about my feelings and these two confuse me more.

"Lecture?" Viraj asked.

"Nah, I'm getting back on the field." I said pointing towards our football ground.

"I'm not lying. You are seriously happy whenever you are with Kiara." Sakshi said and ran away from there, dragging Viraj with her.

Is it? I don't know.

Kiara's POV:

"What happened between you and Ritik?" Sakshi asked. We were gathered to celebrate her birthday and everyone was in good mood until Ritik got angry over something and stopped taking part in any of the games.

"I don't know. He said he wants to talk about something but then I got a call from a friend, so I excused myself and when I returned he was angry. I'm sorry, I have no idea. I replied.

"Oh ok. No issues, I will handle him."

"I can handle myself." Ritik said standing at a distance.

"By the way, I'm sorry, I was thinking about something. Let's go we will play something." He said further and extended his hand for Sakshi.

"Good boy. I will go and arrange everything." She said giving him a side hug and went away from there. Ritik glanced at his hand and then rested it inside the pocket of his jacket. He was about to follow her but I stopped him.

"You said you want to talk about something, what is it?" I asked. When I came here, he was in pretty normal mood. We smiled, we teased eachother but then I don't know what happened to him after I went to receive the call. Maybe it was my mistake to recieve the call when he said he wished to talk but then again it was an important call, Vihaan said he will call me if he has any doubts while completing my notes.

"No nothing. Let's go." He said and turned to leave. Man please don't go.

"Ritik."

"Why do you look sad? Is everything alright?" He asked. Did he noticed? I was not sad, I was just tensed because of a thought which was troubling me a lot. I wanted to tell him about it and was even going to do it but then my phone rang again. This time it was Akshay. What a wrong timing man. That idiot didn't came with me because he had some work and now he was calling me continuously.

"Akshay's call." I said slowly, almost asking him if I should receive it.

"Yeah receive it." He said and went from there without even glancing at me. Did I made him angry? But why would he get angry?

"Is Nia inside?" Akshay asked the moment I went outside to receive him. He was having trouble to find the room and so he called me out which now I think was definitely a lie.

"No, she is not inside. Neither you are looking good." I replied, he shook his head and took me inside. I was expecting to see Ritik in the same angry state however he was smiling. Thank god.

"What happened to you?" I asked to Akshay as now he was not smiling. He gestured towards Nia and Ritik who were so busy talking among themselves like there was no one else around them.

"Anyway. Why do you look disturbed? Any problem?" He asked back. Even he noticed, I can't be any more happy.

"Thank you so much." I said hugging him. I missed Veer and Anika but because Akshay was here I felt complete.

"Nothing. I feel like something bad is going to happen and so I'm little tensed." I replied honestly.

"Don't worry. I'm here and only I have that right to trouble you so I won't let anyone or anything to take that right from me." He said making me smile again.

"Stop smiling, I know you are hurt to see them." He said obviously referring to Ritik and Nia. Was I really hurt? I don't know.

"As if you are not."

"Oh, you just agreed that you are hurt to see Ritik with Nia." He teased. Maybe but only because Ritik wanted to talk with me and I was unable to do that. I once again looked at the place where Ritik and Nia were sitting. Nia was saying something and Ritik was happily listening to her.

"Let's go." I said and took him towards Sakshi. She was clicking pictures with her other friends and was very very happy because of the surprise. After every two minutes, she told Viraj how happy she was. After Akshay wished her we gathered and played some games.

"Now we will play truth and dare." Sakshi said once her other friends bid her goodbye. It was only me, Akshay, Ritik, Nia, Sakshi and Viraj left.

"I think I should leave. I'm getting late." Nia said.

"Yeah, me too." I said.

"I will drop you." Both Ritik and Akshay said at the same time. Only difference here was, Ritik said it to Nia while Akshay said it to me.

"I know you will." I said ruffling his hair. He smiled and made me sit beside him.

"Ok." Nia replied and sat beside Ritik. No one said or did anything to me yet it feels like someone broke my heart.

As there was not much of dares to be done in this place we decided to keep our game limited to truth. Sakshi was asking most of the questions and kept saying how badly she wanted the bottle to stop on Ritik however her luck was very bad here, the bottle stopped at everyone but Ritik.

"If you get a chance to date any one girl present here, who would it be and why?" Sakshi asked once the bottle stopped at Akshay. He will make maximum use of this.

"Nia." He answered looking straight into her eyes. No doubt she looked very cute with those wide eyes once she heard his answer. She was shocked with his reply.

"Reason?" I encouraged him to answer knowing that he was going to make fun of me but ok, if my friend is going to be happy, I will happily allow him to make fun of me.

"She is cute." He answered immediately.

"And Sakshi is committed and I'm not risking my life by dating you." He joked and within no seconds I heard everyone laugh, even Nia did. So whatever tension it was a few seconds earlier immediately turned into normal.

After that Nia excused herself as she was getting a call from Kriya aunty.

"Should we wait for her?" Sakshi asked.

"I don't think she will mind if we continue." Viraj said and spinned the bottle. This time it stopped on Ritik.

"Finally." Sakshi screamed. Ritik smiled as he shook his head a little.

"I know what you will ask." He said confidently.

"Yeah Smarty but I don't know what you will reply, so I want to know it now."

"I like Nia." He stated immediately.
