Chapter 10
'They walked in to see a sight they never thought they'd see...'
Tam and Keefe were...laughing together and high-fiving each other.
"What is this?" Biana asked in amazement.
"I don't wanna close my eyes cause if I close my eyes it will be gone and I don't want it to be gone." Linh said.
"Keefe," Sophie slowly walked towards him and put the back of her hand on his forehead. "Are you okay? Are you sick? You know that's Tam, right?"
"Foster." Keefe scowled and pushed away her hand. "Yes I know it's Bangs Boy. I was high fiving him because he earned it. Wow. I never thought those words would come out of my mouth."
"What happened here?" Biana asked.
"Well, I'm not sure we can tell you the whole thing." Dex said.
"Don't worry. Sophie told us, and Tam had Keefe tell you guys. We know they're dating, blah blah blah, now spill."
"Keefe set up a trap for my mom and dad." Fitz explained.
"I set up a sound alarm that will sound like Fitz and Biana calling for their mom and dad. The sound will be coming from their bedroom." Keefe said. "Once they get inside, the door will close and lock, and they will be stuck. Of course, I did leave them a way out. There is a key hidden under their blanket on their bed, so they will find it eventually." Keefe smirked. "It's gonna be great."
"That's why we were high fiving." Tam said. "I think it's a great trap."
"Still." Sophie said. "You two never get along, no matter what. We are just a little astonished."
Dex yawned. "Can we go to bed?" He asked.
"Yeah, it's getting a little late." Linh said.
"Sure. Everyone grab their sleeping bags and lay them out on the floor." Biana instructed. Tam laid his down next to Biana, while Linh laid hers next to him. Fitz set down his sleeping bag next to Linh, and Sophie set up on the other side of Biana. Keefe put his sleeping bag next to Sophie, and Dex laid his down at the end by Keefe.
"Goodnight everyone." Sophie said. They got in their sleeping bags and fell asleep.

Everything was dark. They were catching up. Sophie tried to turn and run, but she couldn't move. Tried to scream for help, but no sound came out. She was stuck. They approached her, coming closer, closer, closer...
Sophie woke with a start. She sat up and realized she was trembling and crying. "It's okay, Foster. You're okay. It's not real. It's just a nightmare. I'm right here for you." She leaned into Keefe, who was sitting up, awake, in the middle of the night to make sure she was okay.
"Thank you." She said gratefully. "Do you mind if we...combine our sleeping bags?"
"Of course, Foster." Keefe said. They got out of their sleeping bags, unzipped them, zipped their two sleeping bags together to make one big one, then got back in. Sophie faced Keefe, needing to know he was there.
"I love you, Keefe." Sophie whispered.
"Love you too, Foster."
They slowly drifted off to sleep, there for each other, and no more nightmares came that night.
