(Y/N)'s POV:
3 years later

*age 15*

I can't believe it's already been 3 years since I've seen them, I thought to myself. Al, Winry... Ed... I hope you guys are doing okay... I on the other hand was doing fine, I guess. I've been on my own since I left. The reason for my leaving is because I didn't want to hurt anyone. I hurt Ed and Al by not helping them to my capability. I should've known they would try bringing their beloved mother back. I should've stop them. I clutched the necklace Edward gave me for my 10th birthday.

I sighed. As of now, I was on my way to Central. I wanted to become a State Alchemist, despite what people say about it. I didn't care. I just needed something to do. I trained and studied a lot more alchemy. A lot more than what I did with Alphonse and Edward. When I wasn't training and studying, I just traveled around the country. I never really socialized with people but, when I did, it wasn't much, just simple small chat. They would normally ask why I'm out by myself at such a young age. I wouldn't tell them exactly what happened in my past, I would just say "I don't have a family." They then would pity me, which would annoyed me.

The train came to a complete stop. I stood up, grabbed my luggage, and walked out of the train. I walked around, trying to find Headquarters. God, where the hell is it. Before giving up on it, I stopped and thought, did I really want to become a Military dog? What was so great about being a State Alchemist anyway...? I let out a long sigh. Maybe I won't become one... I turned around to fast causing me to trip. Ugh, so stupid. Hopefully no one saw that. I then feel someone's presences in front of me. I didn't look up, I was to embarrassed.

"Hey are you okay?" Said a really familiar voice. My eyes widened. I quickly look up and see a pair of honey-colored eyes.

"Ed...?" My voice said quietly.

"(Y/N)..." Edward said, clearly he was surprised based on his facial expression. Ed looked kind of different, he had longer hair that was in a braid. But he still had the same beautiful golden eyes. He helped me up to my feet and I have him a tight hug. He hesitated but hugged back.

"I missed you..." I said, feeling my eyes get watery. It was true I did miss him and everybody else too. He released me from the hug, I didn't want him to let go... wait what...?

"Then why did you leave...?" He asked, staring into my (e/c) eyes. I didn't want to answer so I quickly changed the subject.

"Wheres Al? I thought he would be with you." I say, a slight smile on my face.

"Oh, he's in Headquarters talking to Colonel Mustang." Ed said smiling back. I missed that smile...

"Ironically, I've been walking around trying to find that damn Headquarters. Couldn't find it..." I say awkwardly laughing. Ed chuckled.

"Oh, why is that...?" He asked, curiosity in his voice.

"I wanted to become a State Alchemist, but now I'm not so sure. Probably not anymore..." I say shrugging.

"I'm a State Alchemist," He said smiling. My mouth dropped opened. He then pulled out the signature pocket watch.

"Cool, so, I'm guessing you still do alchemy?" I asked, even though I knew the answer. Edward nodded.

"Yup, they call me the Fullmetal Alchemist." He said chuckling at the name. I give him a questioning glance.

"Fullmetal? Why?" I asked. He then took off his white glove and pulled up his red sleeve, revealing his automail arm. My eyes widened.

"Because I have an automail arm but, Fullmetal Alchemist does have a ring to it don't you think?" Ed laughed. I looked away. If I would of just warned Ed and Al about human transmutation, Ed wouldn't have this arm. I feel a tear slide down my cheek. Ed looked at me, concern in his eyes.

"(Y/N) what's wrong?" Ed asked, pulling down his sleeve and putting his glove back on.

"I'm sorry..." I mumbled. He looked puzzled.

"Sorry? For what?" He asked more confused. I shook my head, I couldn't bring it into words.

"Never mind, Could I see Al?" I asked wiping my face. Ed nodded.

"Of course, let's go." He said walking a few paces ahead of me, I quickly follow. We eventually made it to the building. A long row of stairs led to the inside. I see a metal suit sitting on the steps close by. Alphonse...? He looked up.

"Hey brother. Wait, (Y/N), is that you?" He asked standing up, he then walked closer to us. I give him a hug.

"Yeah Al, it's me..." I say, holding back tears. Al hugged back. I let go of Al, smiling big.

"So (Y/N), where have you've been all this time?" The younger brother asked. I shrugged.

"Just around, no specific spot really..." I stated crossing my arms.

"So you have no where to go...?" Ed joined in. I shook my head.

"I guess not..." I answered shrugging.

"Oh, well um..." Ed mumbled, a lost for words. "You should, uh,-"

"Come with us! You could help us find a way to get our bodies back to normal!" Al blurted, excitement in his voice. Now I was the one speechless. Did they really wanted me to come?

"I don't know..." I mumbled.

"It would be nice to have you with us ya know..." Ed mumbled slightly looking away. I feel my face get a little red.

"You guys really want me to tag along...?" I asked. They both nodded. "Okay I will." I smiled. The two boys smiled happily.

"Great! We should go back to Risembol. Winry would love to see you. Plus my automail needs some touch ups." Ed said, his cute smile still on his face.

"Okay so, let go..." I suggested walking away. I hear them both follow.

"Let's hurry and get on the train!" Ed's said running faster ahead, Al did as well.

"Could you carry my luggage please?" I say to Al, shoving the suitcase into his hands. I took this chance to quickly get ahead of the two brothers.

"Okay, now, let's see if you guys can catch up." I say giving them a wink. I ran faster and faster and the boys were still following behind. We finally made it on the train and I obviously won. We took our seats, I sat by Ed and Al sat in front of us.

"Do you know how long it will take to get there?" I asked. Ed shrugged.

"I don't know, maybe a couple hours..." Ed replied closing his eyes. I yawned.

"Good, cause I'm going to sleep..." I mumbled, I was extremely tired. Without realizing it, I was resting my head on Edward's shoulder. I was to exhausted to move so, I ended up falling asleep like that.

Edward's POV

I feel (Y/N)'s head go on my shoulder. My eyes then shot open. I feel my face get hot... Am I blushing..? I then hear her lightly snore. She's a fast sleeper... I let out a sigh.

"Hey brother?" I hear Alphonse spoke. I glance up at him.

"Do you know why (Y/N) left in the first place?" He asked, curiosity in his voice. Im wondering that myself.

"No, not really. I want to know though..." I say in a whisper, trying not to wake her.

"Was it something we did to make her upset?" Al questioned.

"I don't know! Just quite for now, you're gonna wake her..." I mumbled. Al sighed. I let out a sigh as well. Did we make her upset? What did we do that could've made her leave. I was feeling tired so, I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

*Dream/Flashback*

"Hey (Y/N)...." I said. She had walked up to me and Al while we were practicing our fighting. There was tears in my eyes as she got closer to Al and me.

"Hey what's wrong?" Alphonse asked. She quickly punched me on my head and punched Al on his metal chest. I cover my head and sternly look at (Y/N)

"Ow! What the hell was that for?!" I shouted. She then quickly gave both of us a tight hug.

"You idiots.... How could you do such a thing. You guys know damn well what happened to my mother after transmuting a human.... What made you guys think that you could... It's my fault for not warning you.... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." She whispered. It's not her fault...

"(Y/N) no it's not..." I started to say but she shook her head. (Y/N) released us from the hug. She looked straight into ours eyes. I remember her eyes being full of joy but now they were filled with sadness and guilt...

"I'm sorry... I'm leaving and not coming back... Please tell Winry that... Good bye..." She flatly says. Before she was about to walk away, I put my hand on her shoulder. She looks at my automail and starts to sob.

"(Y/N) please stop..." I said... She can't leave me... She shoved my hand away.

"NO ED! YOU STOP!" She snapped with tears in her (e/c) eyes. I couldn't speak.

"Good bye..." Her voices echoed through my head as she ran away.

I woke up, with a gasp. I glance to my side and noticed (Y/N) staring at me.

"You're finally awake. We're here." She smiled standing up. I rubbed my eyes. What (Y/N) said in my dream, does she think it's her fault. No, it can't be. I sighed and got up.

"Hey Ed, you okay?" Alphonse asked. I give him a small smile.

"Yeah I'm fine, just a weird dream..." I said. We walked out of the train and headed for Winry's house. It took us about 15 minutes to get there.

"I'm so happy to see Winry..." (Y/N) exclaimed with her pretty smile on her face. Glad to see her happy. We stepped up on the porch and (Y/N) knocked on the door loudly. Den was then loudly barking.

"Coming!" Winry's voice said through the other side of the door. When she opened it, (Y/N) instantly hugged her old friend.

"(Y/N)... oh my god! I missed you so much!" Winry said. Al and I stepped inside while Winry and (y/n) were catching up. I sat on the couch, Al sat next to me.

"Brother, could we visit moms grave?" Al asked. I shrugged.

"I don't know. Maybe later, I just want to rest for a bit..." I mumbled standing up. I then walked up stairs. I walked into (y/n)'s old room. It smelt like her still. I sat down on a chair in the corner of the room. Nearby was a desk, on it was a picture frame. I pick it to examine it. It was a picture of her and me hugging. I remember now, it was her 10th birthday. Winry took the picture without us knowing. (Y/N) looked cute back then but now, she's gorgeous... I had a crush on her back then but, do I still have those feelings? My thoughts instantly stop when I hear the door open. I froze up, not making a sound.

(Y/N)'s POV:

It was nice to catch up with Winry. I now wanted to changed into some different clothes... I pick up my suitcase and head upstairs to my old room. It was dark in there but I didn't bother to turn on the lights. I place my luggage on my bed and opened it. I then started taking of my shirt, now only in my bra, I then heard breathing. I instantly turned around. I then see Ed in the corner turning red as a tomato. I covered my chest, feeling my whole face get hot.

"ED YOU PERVERT GET THE HELL OUT!!!!!" I screamed throwing random objects at him. Ed ran out, closing the door behind him. I quickly put on another shirt. I let out a huge sigh. Did that really just f*ing happened?!
